I decided to talk about my current tenor saxophone as I do plan to upgrade to a professional saxophone soon. this is just to clear up your expectations from china made saxophones that are very affordable in the market.
This is my experience with one, and I do hope this can help some of you especially the beginners who are looking for a saxophone to start with. :)

I could not imagine using a saxophone in such a hot and humid environment. Plus you are using it for gigs. I think any sax would wear in that environment. Respecfully recommended doing your own repairs pads, cork, felt replacement. U.S. Army band RU-vid has a great video on lubrication oils for the sax. Great sound!!!!!!!Thanks for sharing!

yep! I regularly do my own maintenance now on my new saxophone. A thing worth mentioning as well, I experience a motorcycle accident with my old chinese made saxophone. so hats off to the horn for still being playable after that accident. hehe

You play so well that I don’t think a switch to a pro Yamaha or Yanagisawa would make much difference in the sound your audience hears. But you, as a player, would think you hit the lottery! I would ditch the Chinese horn…you deserve better! The very best to you, fellow saxophonist!🎷
