A belated HNY, and good to see the 9-5 going strong and looking forward to another 20-30k mi in 2024! My amazing 9-3 will be 25 in Feb., but my daily driving only amounts to about 5k mi per year.
Keep the old 9-5s sedans alive, under rated cars that are great if you keep them maintained. i have 2005 Arc with manual transmission - still running great - every year think of getting something new -- but there's nothing out there like it you can get any more. Parts have been OK so far.. had do re-welding with rear brake lights - no replacements. -- What did you get for tires? - I don't drive much - last year got Arroyo Grand Sport 2s at a good price that I have been happy with -- haven't tried them in snow, hasn't snowed in VA for a few years now.
I have same car 2005 95 aero same color 116,236 on clock been getting hard starts in mornings And intermittent shut offs. Changed fuel pump , throttle body,and sparkplugs drove car 100 miles after..Oh yeah 🤙🤙Happy New Year Kyle to you an family...
Are your axles still holding up pretty good? I’ve replaced mine on my 04 drivers side due to a slight vibration,turns out the bearing was the issue. Happy new year
Speaking of suspension, how long on average do the sway bar links last for everyone out there? Mine only have been last about 4-5 years before I have to replace them because the boots tear.
4 to 5 years sounds about right. I just replaced my front sway bar end links with Moog links. Moog is much heavier duty than the OEM, and they have Zerk grease fittings to keep the link joints lubricated unlike the OEM links. Cheers.
