I just found this channel and want to say how much I appreciate it. It's a huge help to have someone do the things a lot of us worry about. You're awesome, Jason!
I'm so glad I found you! I'm planning a BIG ASS trip to Disneyland(13 Adults) for 2025(2 years from now) and I have several plus sized friends and I wouldn't feel right planning a trip where they couldn't mostly enjoy themselves. I was nervous because I have a figure with hips and space mountain WDW was a squeeze lmao They're gonna be so happy that I found your reviews, I'm gonna buy the guide closer to when we're actually going.
I love you for making this - I am a wdw veteran and have always appreciated it's size-inclusivity, but we're planning our first DL trip and even though it's all disney the unknown factor has me so nervous. This video has done wonders for my anxiety - it's so thorough, so helpful, and so fun to watch. Appreciate you and subbing for lots more!
I'm planning a roadtrip for my very first visit to America with my partner (who is American and lives in the states) and we were looking to go here as I'm a massive Disney fan but I said to him to not even bother planning it because i'll never fit on the rides (I'm 294 pounds) but you've restored my faith in me FINALLY getting to go to Disney. Thank you!!!
I recently wondered if there was any channels like this! I remember the first time they told me I couldn’t right The Forbidden Journey in Universal and I was traumatized to go on any rides (I had been on the ride before). It took me awhile to build up the courage to ask and try. Now I’m confident and not afraid to check but seeing this gives me a breath of fresh air for those going through that feeling as well!
Oh, what a splendid adventure awaits you and your fellow grand adventurers! Venturing forth into the realm of theme parks can indeed be a quest filled with unknown challenges, but with the right map in hand, the journey becomes a delightful escapade. Think of my videos as your enchanted compass, guiding you through the vast lands, ensuring that every twist and turn brings joy and not dismay. Here's to a day filled with laughter, magical memories, and the knowledge that you are not alone on this journey. Safe travels, brave explorer!
I appreciate you testing all these and giving all the information. Going to Disney with my family next month and it’s nice to not worry and be confident!!
Thank you so much I nearly cried when I found out I would actually be able to ride the rides. I had always thought that was never a possibility. Thank you for what you do!
You're very welcome, and I'm so thrilled to hear that the content has made a meaningful impact on you. The joy and experiences that theme parks bring shouldn't be limited by size or any other factor. Your gratitude is a powerful reminder that making life more accessible and enjoyable for everyone is worth the effort. Keep on riding and enjoying life to the fullest!
I'm going to an amusement park in 2 days. I'll try to be as brave as you and just jump in and see if my size stops me from trying things and not be embarrassed if I can't 💪🏻💛
You nailed this for sure. My knees hurt so bad after matterhorn, but it was a blast. I asked the attendant if iwould fit on Mr Toads Wild Ride, she replied "Oh, Toadaly". Im a wdw fan but dl is better in a lot of ways.
Thank you for sharing this. We are going in June for the first time as a family. My husband is a big man and I don’t want anything putting a damper in his experience. 👑💪🏼 you’re the man!
Mate, I absolutely applaud you and admire your confidence for doing this for us. If I buy the guides now (1st April 2023) you mention will I get the Disneyland updates when you add them or will that be a separate purchase? I am going to Disneyland in Sept this year.
Love this! I know ppl who would appreciate this on so many levels. Sometimes I know friends have taken kids to amusement parks and the faved height restrictions and other issues that sort of ruined that for them
Thank you so much for doing this. This was all very helpful information as I will be there in 3 weeks and was so nervous to see what I could ride. I am brand new and will keep watching videos… but any you couldn’t ride? Also, on the Matterhorn Bobsled why did you start cramping on it? Was the cramping in your legs? Just not enough leg space?
Glad it was helpful! It was actually my stomach that cramped from the positioning. I fit on everything but I do try to make sure the level of comfort is known. If you want to see DCA and the other parks here you go: ru-vid.com/group/PL2ZSeqDBixT87g39tKmsBHd5ANBwuDGyx
Hi! I saw other video indicating they could not fit through the turn style enterance on the snow white ride snd I think Peter Pan. There may have been a couple of others. did you experience that? Or were you able to fit through the turn style entrance? Thank you! It would be nice to see a list of what won't work and why :)
Thanks man we are on our honeymoon and going on a theme park tour in CA you gave me a lot of cofendince and put my mind at ease before getting there. I knew going in what expectations to have you are the man.
You are a legend and I thank you for being the result when I searched this specific topic up it was on my mind for so long and how embarrassing I’m actually trying to propose to my lady when we go and I would feel bad on that day if I got my ticket and proposed but can’t get on any rides!! Shitty! But that’s not the case❤️thank you great sir!
I watched through your videos before heading to Disney, so incredibly helpful! Would love to see you do a celebration video, specifically circling back to rides you were unable to fit on but now can ❤
Love to hear it! There’s only one right I have never been able to ride and that is avatar flight of passage. And I do try it each time we’ll see how it goes.
@fattestedtravel I'll have to skim through and find your retry of the Harry Potter rides, so happy for you and all your progress! I was once 450lbs + as well and got Down to 189 and gained a bit back but working on it 😀
Thank you for all the stress, anxiety and embarrassment you save others from. I was curious if you tried Tom Sawyers Island at Disneyland? I heard some of those caves are kinda tight. So any info you can share would be appreciated.
Thank you so much for doing these videos! They are so helpful ! - Question tho which ride would you say is harder to get the bar closed for, Space mountain in Disneyland or Guardians over at Epcot? - Thanks !!
Thank you so much for this video I wish you had millions of millions of views because it's really a great video, Perhaps add more hashtags like riding all the rides in disneyland or something like that because I feel like this video is not just great for fat people it's great for anyone wanting to know what rides there are in Disneyland
No videos yet and I’m not really a great gauge on how long it would probably take other people because I’m filming so much that it takes a lot more time to do everything and I literally ride everything. Most people would not. But you could easily spend two days in each part no problem.
Is the seating in the Tiki Room comfortable at Disneyland? I refuse to go back to the Tiki Room at Disney World because the benches are so uncomfortable. We will be going to DL this summer and my husband thinks we need to go to the Tiki Room.
My hips are to large for stars tours .. ASTRO blast omg the way to get in and out hurts ur butt Cheek gets slices in half lol trying to come out of the air flight there's not opening like dumbo.. so u have to swing ur leg out to get out . That was a 1 and done. Majority of the rides at the park are plus size friendly it just depends on ur comfort . Now in town towns the rides are fat friendly. I myself was a little scared to try ( I didn't see anyone my size or large on any ride ) so I was like there probably just nervous like me.. well Ima go for it and hopes praying someone who large will see me have fun and go try the ride themselves the chip and Dale roller coster lap bar u pull down easy. Mr. Rodgers ride like toy story easy.
Thank you so much for doing this! My husband is a similar size as you and I want him to enjoy himself at Disneyland. Now I have a list of rides we can both do! You are the absolute best!!! Quick question: how many days did it take you to ride the rides at Disneyland only (not including California Adventure)? Thanks in advance.
So I was meeting with friends and other creators while I was there, so it wasn’t really just going through all the rides. But I would definitely give Disneyland at least two days.
Hey, sorry it took me a while to reply to this. I did not, but I did test dinosaur at Animal Kingdom and it is the same ride vehicle if you want to look up that.
Disney is too easy to be fat, their most intense ride has one loop. I feel it’s the most plus size friendly theme park because it’s the theme park I see with the most mobility scooters. Knotts & Six Flags are the worst places to be fat some rides restrains wouldn’t fit on me.
I would agree that Disney has the best. I don’t know about the whole mobility scooters, but they do try their best to be accessible. Busch Gardens has wife beaters, and Disney has mobility scooters, I guess.
Thank you so much for doing this!!!! You don't know how sad and how much it effects me not being able to have fun and go to these places... I'm 6'3 350 and I don't want to ruin it for my wife and waste time and money..
