Atleast this NDTV takeover by Adani dosen't effect me because I never had much faith on mainstream media channels. Serious Q for Akashbhai: why don't you set up a tip jar or "buy me a coffee" kind of thing for micro-contributions? There might be many folks that aren't comfortable making a bulk/onetime Rs 1000 or Rs 500 contribution but more at ease making smaller contributions (like Rs 10, Rs 20, Rs 50 etc) on certain days. Those could add up... Because as I see independent TV media is no more in India. What remains is some print media and digital channels like yours...

Last 5 year, I never saw a news channel . I always prefer prashant sir(world affairs) , dhruv Rathi , mohak Mangal, deshbhakt , BBC etc. for news and knowledge. I think they are doing great and some issues I do not agree with them but they are actually doing great .

News channels should never be listed on share market rather if they require money they can raise it through donations from their viewers for giving them good quality content along with money they receive from advertisements, promotions, etc on their channels
See 2008 loan was of 400 crore, now the company who got those share got acquired for 113 crore. Value of 400 crore loan after 14 years is .... Something is fishy
There can be two scenarios in that. 1. VPCL is loan giving company but they don’t own that loan amount and might have raised the money through investors as a bonds. 2. NDTV might not be paying the EMI on loan which might have caused the loan to be marked as NPA and it will reduce the price of company. To confirm this, need to check financial records of NDTV.
