Is Nerfed Skull Merchant Now F Tier? 

It's sad that an entire genre of killer is basically DOA because survivors do not like playing this game with their brain turned on. Macro killers deserve to exist and the game should not be catered around survivors who think anything other than a basic m1 killer with a dash m2 is unfair to play against.

The Skull Merchant nerf's just continue to reinforce my own thoughts that survivors are the most crybaby entitled players, this gutting nerf is just gonna make them cry even harder on the forums and ingame when a player beats them despite the brutal nerfs she got. Anyway's good games and GG's red, I know I haven't really commented or been in one of your streams in a long time.

I bet people after this will still complain that Skully's too strong

was a Chase main SM, never really had issues with the DCing part, but the shaft received on this nerf is insane. im now moving my way to Singularity. over bhvr frfr.

I think most of the skully changes were fine, and make the killer healthier for the game. My biggest problem is with the drone changes: Both removing a scan line and removing the stealth mode i think was too much, especially if they want to move her more into a trapper-style killer. Because it's just so easy to disable drones now with only 1 line that's always visible.

Bro imagine trying to bully a killer and you ended up dcing because you failed at bulling. If you were gonna bully try not to look like a dumbass while doing it.

I think this video proves that the problem with skill merchant wasn’t the killer it’s that survivors NEED to play better!

I think you might get more rage quits as people are expecting Skull Merchant to be nerfed, so now losing against her will be like the game telling them that they really suck at it. There will probably also still be a group saying that she "just isn't fun to go against". They're going to DC and complain based on prejudiced feelings regardless of what happens.

Something that might be fun to test is combining the buffed Deathbound with Forced Penance. That makes it so a survivor who heals is Oblivious if they move more than 8 meters from the person they healed, but if they do stay that close then they will trigger Forced Penance on a hit which inflicts Broken for a very long time. So it’s a lose-lose for them.

Hearing that there's yet another rework planned for her makes me wish that the devs would just take a break from pumping out content and take the time to polish and fix the stuff they already have. It would do the game so much good. Here's hoping that the NEXT rework is better, healthier and more fun to play and to go against.

Either they should revert back to 2 beams or they can increase the rotation speed with one beam.

Survivors always complain about everything

The way people still DC against her is so funny. It's almost like nerfing her doesn't fix anything, it just makes her less fun to play.

Behavior needs to offer damn refund if they are going to destroy a killer that makes them worthless... I fking hate behavior and every whining survivor that gets every killer nerfed.

Nerfing her so hard just means less people are inclined to play as her which means it certainly won’t break that stigma. They don’t need to nerf her, they need a complete rework of her power and play-style. I think that’s the only way players will give her another chance

To those who still know utterly nothing about her kit, refuse to learn, and whine at every one of her niche inconveniences? She needs to be removed. Apart from that, *actually* competent players don't seem to fall for her easy-to-read tricks. Crouching, or briefly standing still to avoid the singular scan-line is easy to do with a little bit of thought. Her hinder feels like it's doing absolutely nothing, and she's still an M1-based killer. Her stealth is still beat out by plenty of killers, her "numerous status effects" are completely lessened and basically do nothing (Plague still does her broken way better.), and Dissolution feels like a must-have in chase for her. By removing a lot of what made her decent at best, she's become null and void to any actual chasing strategies, and reduced to area lock-down, ultimately her most boring playstyle that's still done better by other, better killers. ...hey, weren't they supposed to *get rid* of Chess Merchant?

What's the new mori thing? I've seen two different things. One says you can now mori anyone on last hook and another says you can only mori the last remaining survivor.

Mori system failed 🤣🤣 If they took back like one or two nerfs, shed honestly be a cool control killer with a decent skill ceiling. Single line drones is fine. Give us back 5% more on the hinder, and let drones be stealthed again

They could make SM a one legged 1.5 m/s killer and survivors would still DC.. The SM just had a massive hate bandwagon and got obliterated with nerfs for no good reason imo. Hardcore Survivor mains just hate killers that make it so they have to do more then just M1 to the next tile. for example pinhead.

It’s the PTB, Red. Survivors would dc against a killer who couldn’t actually kill. Also, how would this be for a Mori rework for Skull Merchant: she has a drone slap a special claw trap on the survivor. She then hits a button on the remote & the claw trap explodes. Or electrocutes the survivor, if they don’t want to go the explosion route.

You make her look good. The changes are too much. Hopefully they return the haste, they can stay with the hinder tbh. One scaning line is okay but tagging someone should be worth it.

If you guy dont know Behavior nerf all killer ability - perk and add on just because they watch to much P100 main killer but Behavior never play any killer they make if you remember the old clip the very good jobs so far guy playing Hag lose hard and he buff the Hag nerf the flashlight

Personally I don’t really mind the nerfs, in fact I’m pretty excited to try out the single line drones. I’m more so worried about the reactions I’m going to get from survivors when I continue to play her. I’m worried that a lot of them are going to take their anger out on me. Which to be honest, I don’t think I deserve. I’m just playing a killer I enjoy, I don’t think I deserve to be crucified for it.

I think at this point skull merchant just needs an overhaul,not a rework a complete overhaul since behavior can’t adjust her correctly,as a survivor main I want to face a wide arrange of killers including this one,and I have rarely played against a skull merchant,I find this unacceptable,I would just simplify her and her abilities,she can put down a drone every 30 seconds,drones scan an area,if they scan a survivor a survivor gets a token,if they have one token it’s a little harder to hack the drones aka one more button Input,two tokens and when discovered the killer gets a speed burst for a moment,when she uses her scanner she can put a token on any survivors nearby,if they have three they are revealed for a few moments,survivors can reduce their tokens hacking drones and escaping a chase,there,I did behaviors work for them,simple but effective

If Skull merchant has a million haters I’m one of them. If she has 1000 haters I’m one of them. If she has 1 hater it’s me. If she has 0 haters it means I have left this world. If the world is against Skull merchant I am with the world, if the world is for Skull merchant, I am against the world. Now, speaking seriously. I'm a main killer and I enjoy using Skull Merchant, but with my hand on my heart, I understand the nerf. And to the three Skull Merchant mains who are crying in the comments or on Twitter... honestly, what did you expect? She's one of the most hated and boring killers (I find her hot, but she’s still one of the killers I hate the most, at least going against her as a survivor). I think it's only natural they nerfed the most bland killer in the game. The times I've had to go against her as a survivor, the matches were extremely boring, and she often got hits in really unfair ways (I even noticed this as a killer, to the point where good squads were destroyed by her), and no matter how much they say the counterplay is to crouch and that's it, it’s like saying the counterplay to Huntress is just to avoid the hatchets... with the difference that with Huntress, that would make sense since it requires skill from both sides, unlike with Skull Merchant who could slow you down, make herself faster, appear without a terror radius, and all this without even counting bloodlust, which made loops ridiculously short with very little counterplay. Was she the strongest killer? Surely not. Blight, Nurse, or whoever could be much worse, but Skull Merchant was an annoying killer who, unlike the ones mentioned, didn’t require a high skill ceiling to get free hits. She’s an aesthetically crappy killer with a laughable lore and a disastrous release. Honestly, I’m surprised the nerf didn’t come sooner. And those who are whining (I exclude you, Red, because you aren’t doing that despite being disappointed by the nerf) seem to have zero ability for introspection and ask, 'Hey, why is this killer that nobody likes being nerfed so she doesn’t appear as much?'
