I think you're right, I doubt her attempting to strike down someone clearly weaker than her equates her striking down an invading god that I'm pretty sure killed one of her close friends, the tengu general I think? Either way, I'm pretty sure she's definitely not using her full strength.

Nahida is actually very strong as when we fought scaramouche in god form then she used the power of dreams on him and trapped him in a samsara cycle 168 times so the traveler could defeat him she could trap anyone in a samsara cycle as many times she want but as u said she lost a lot of her power so she would need an executer like the traveler to use all that knowledge and defeat the enemy that she wanted to defeat

What is pretty intresting is that Ei was not even Archon when she killed Orobashi, she should not have had the "electro authority" or "Gnosis", just her own power.
The point against Ei is fair, but is it not fair to assume she used less force against the traveler than Orobashi? Killing the traveler would be much easier in theory. Not to mention They were right in the middle of the city, there’s no way Raiden would have used a strike so strong there.

you might be able to say nahida is weak from lack of belief from her people and lack of a gnosis, but you can't ignore the fact that the dendro archon's consciousness is linked to irmensul. That means nahida has the power to alter reality, as demonstrated in the sumeru archon quest where she erased rukedevata from existence entirely. Speaking of the erasure of rukedevata, wouldn't this mean the people's belief were placed in kusanali instead? or did they fully rely on the akasha.
TLDR bottom of comment- your point on nibelung is that even him and the rest of the dragons couldn't beat the principles, but they almost did. neuvillette story reveals that the original usurper was so badly wounded in the war that they were physically unable to contain the world and restrain the authorities they had stolen. so with the aid of the one who came after, used the 3rd descenders body to make the gnosis to appoint archons and split the authorities. the archons were never meant to be part of the plan. the forbidden knowledge, most likely abyssal energy, is proven to be poisonous to the dragons. i don't believe he used it for a power boost to replace the one he lost. we are told about invaders from beyond the firmament being summoned after nibelung attained forbidden knowledge and that the nails that celestial threw down that massively scarred the world was a last ditch effort to beat them. the principle was dealing with weakened dragons with no authority ( around 4.1 neuvillette level) a massively poisoned nibelung and an army of unknown beings/creatures. the principle had the shades, the authorities of the world and maybe even the one who came after ( maybe the second who came???) and had to drop what was the equivalent of divine nukes to win. neuvillette describes himself as an equal to that of the human world. the human world is synonymous to mortal realm which contains the archons as well. the principle refers to the deities themselves as humans ' the usurper and one who came after created the Gnoses together. So it came to be that an order was made to be upheld, and thus did humans come to only possess these seven remembrances, and all fragments of the primordial were driven to devour each other.' I don't see how there is much to discuss, neuvillette is very forward with what he believes he can do. before he obtained the authority he didn't believe he could stop the narwhal. after he did he knew he could. the dragons lost their powers before the war had started and were forced to subjugate. the dragons that the principle fought never had their full powers they were robbed before any real war began. celestia itself is very much against rebellious nations khaenriah, remuria, king deshrets kingdom, sal vindagnyr (which was destroyed for no real reason, perhaps it was destroyed because the people were about to gain access to the first irminsul tree, which contained knowledge about the previous world) and Raiden shogun was terrified that if inazuma developed too quickly it too would be destroyed. fontaine was one of these nations. Egeria a being made by one of the shades was sentenced to a cruel fate of watching her nation be destroyed for making life. yet neuvillette, after gaining his throne as a ruler and authority back, changes the prophecy, usurped the hydro archon and openly tells us he will judge not only the archons but the principle themselves. this is the biggest threat to celestia since the cataclysm maybe bigger since these beings had a 40 year war, while depowered, that injured their ruler and yet nothing. the thing is the throne neuvillette obtained is different from the archons. his throne is similar to that of the heavenly principle he was a being who ruled the world and that status has been returned the same as his previous incarnation lost it. he wasn't subjected to the worlds rules, he isn't affected by the principles control of destiny and fate. he doesn't have a constellation from celestia. he gave himself a constellation his own fate, not for his sake but for the people and the melusines. the position of his constellation is unique itself its placed in a position held for the overseers beings who could openly defy the world. the usurper was hurt in the great war vengeance, which came after the war with the sovereigns. his functions were ruined in that war, which means prior to that war he used his absolute authroity to keep down the sovereigns all by himself. so ya he cleared them

@@DawitsLookingforEmilia I understand where you are coming from, i thought the same as well, but i'[m pretty sure that upon contact phanes took the authority for itself. then afterwards there was a fight at no point did the dragons face the principles with there original power. the feat that could be accredited to phanes being perhaps stronger was its ability to wield more than one authority at its prime. know i don't know if the dragons could do the same or if they had to specifically get their authority back. neuvillette makes it seem like the authority they gain from the archon doesn't matter since he said in his ascension VL ' regained one of the authorities' i guess we will have to see.
Venti is a drunk (plays good tunes though I will admit), Ei is a fraud (parried by kazuha with 3* unascended weapon), Zhongli is borderline senile and Nahida is a child. Let me see her flush her anxiety dookie away when Neuvillette pulls up to waterlog that damn tree. The Seven is a sorry roster of gods and the archon war was a bot lobby. Also the second who came is in cahoots with the primordial one and he moved forbidden knowledge into poor dragon neighborhoods, got them addicted to the hope that sinful power provided them "the war on forbidden knowledge" was a convenient excuse.
I still have my doubts about Neuvillette. Yes, he's a full-fledged dragon sovereign now, but I think he lacks the experience. So, he definitely has the potential to become stronger than any archon, but I don't believe he's reached that potential yet. So, unless he's been secretly hitting the gym every day after court, Ei's gonna cook his ass.

Celestia when Neuvillette comes to judge them: What is this angry water snake doing here? Something I'd like to point out about Venti in this case- Mondstat still has plenty of faith in him, they have 4 festivals dedicated to honoring Barbatos, so he still receives power from faith. That being said- Celestia's sooner uploading a 'addressing the allegations' video then Venti is beating Neuvillette in any fight unless it's a drinking one. Barbatos isn't a particularly combat-focused god- so I doubt his skill in fighting will match Neuvillette who literally has the memories of past lives to pull on. I also feel like we should factor the 'Divine Thrones' into the strength of the Archon- their seats that contain the stolen power of the Sovereigns but even then, a dragon without their authority is already rivaling an Archon so that won't enable them to beat the Sovereign. But that's still quite a noteworthy amount of power the Archons have, given it's the absolute command over the element. As for Ei- the reason Kazuha blocked that strike was because Ei wasn't going all-out. She didn't want to vaporize her own city. I remember hearing the Shogun puppet was designed to replicate the Shogun at full power- and we even see during the boss fight with the puppet that it still has more power to give. I reckon that giant sword slash was likely closer to the strike Ei dealt Orabashi. (Also, as far as the people of Inazuma are concerned, Ei does directly rule them. Sure it's not true in technicality, but I feel like the people are the ones deciding if a god is giving them commands or not.) Anyway, I'm pretty sure Azhdaha's the Geo Sovereign. I mean, the Sovereigns are all vishaps and Azhdaha is called the 'Lord Of Geovishaps' I don't think it gets clearer than that- There might be some confusion with Azhdaha being 'built' by Zhongli, but the thing that makes a Sovereign isn't their bodies, it's their elemental spirits. And so, even if said spirit is inhabiting a Geo Construct- it would still be considered a Sovereign.

Well, he recently ascended to full dragonhood, so he probably hasn't learned to harness his hydro powers to its full potential. It should take a while before he can go toe-to-toe with Ei and Morax.
I was picturing it and I thought Neuvillette would lose to the Archons followers before he even got to face them, which made me think what about the full force of each nation how do they stack up against each other? I put my thoughts from weakest to strongest disregarding home field advantages: Sumeru - Apep(unlikely), Wonderer, Aranara, Cyno, Alhatham, their standing army(desert mercenaries) and Nahida Inazuma - Yae Miko, Kokomi, Kujo Sara, Other kitsune or yokai, their standing army (well trained ninja and samurai) and Ei Fontaine - Automitons, Melusines(not battle proven), advanced tech, Standing army, and Neuvillete(Single handedly dragging them up from dead last imo) Liyue - The Adepti notabley Xiao(Adepti do a lot of heavy lifting), Crux fleet, Standing army the milileth, the Qixing Ninguang and Keqing, the Exorcists most likely and Zhongli Mondstat - The 4 winds including Dvalin, Andreus(Andreus is to Boreas as Gouba is Marchosius), Vanessa(a literal Celestian) and Varka, the other knights captains notably Albedo but all are strong, other knights notably Klee and by extension likely Alice, Mona and Barbaloth and Venti Sneznaya - Does it really need to be said?
Yes but I'd imagine many of the people you have listed like for example Alice are probably in the position of the Soverigns just not caring about their resident archon like probably zhongli and the geo soverign

I doubt they'd pick a fight and would probably be either neutral or unite with him against Celestia
Will neuvillette should be stronger than archons And the prove is the the previous hydro archon egeria was not strong enough to turn the oceanids into real humans, and hydro archon focalors admitted that only the full power of the hydro dragon sovereign can save Fontaine from its prophecy. So this proves that the dragon sovereign’s are stronger than archons. However in comparison to celestia and heavenly principles I don’t think he stands a chance. I want to add a note about kazuha, I don’t think that the shogun was actually using anything of her true power to fight kazuha, I mean she literally turned a harbinger into ash in just a second .
Don't knock Kazuha. He's the only person in history to activate 2 visions at once and it gave him the strength to barely block an insanely powerful god's attack. And we all know how broken of a unit he is with just 1 vision. lol

I dont think puppet ei used her musou no hitotachi on kazuha,.. if she use it though it should probably leave some remnants on the floor or actually everywhere because when ei used it at orobashi (whatever the snake’s name) it literally left remnants to which is still left till today and concentrated electro is still visible at the island on which it was slain
oh hey lol. its tough. take celestia for instance, while once they were clearly above everyone else, they no doubt must be weaker given the primoridal was wounded so badly it could no longer use its "absolute authority". But even with that being the case they still control teyvat every other faction is taking major precautions in trying to confront them As for the abyss order, its impossible to say rn. We still havent seen the "meat" of what the abyss is capable of, but we do know they are capable of killing archons, and even nulliyfing the powers of the "divine" But as for how that stacks em up against the sovereigns, is unknown. The sovereigns only have one person with their authority, and thats only 1 of 7. As it stands right now im not sure how powerful they are as a collective. Archons are interesting because from here, it depends how you define "power". Currently Id wager the Fatui are stronger then the archons seeing as there are now only 6 archons, and 4 of them dont have their gnosis anymore. Whilst the fatui have 6 gnoses, plus the harbingers. Dottore for instance has shown hes capable of defeating Nahida in battle, and if he can beat her then odds are he can beat Venti too. Theres 8 harbingers and 3 of them have the strength of gods, and they have an archon with their gnosis. Hexenzirkel are very powerful but a complete mystery rn lol. We know Alice is supremely powerful in a multitude of different fields and has been likened to a god, Rhinedottir is a master alchemist whose creations have brought destruction to teyvat, Barbeloth is a visionary who can read the fate of the entire world, and Nicole, whilst still an enigma, is like Alice somehow immune to irminsul. Id move the hexenzirkel up some slots. get the knights of favonious the fuck outta here lol. My list would look something like 1. Celestia 2. Abyss 3. Fatui 4. Archons 5. Hexenzirkel this could be a fun video idea I kinda wanna do it in the future after I research it some more

She might be saying this because the Electro Sovereign Dragon might be already dead . As lots of Sovereign Dragon died while fighting the Primodial one. We only saw Apep who is still alive.

@@LaSignorasfav The Elemental Authorities and the Gnoses are two different things. The Authorities were stolen from the Sovereigns and used as the divine thrones of the Archons, and the Gnoses were the remains of the Third Descender and were given to the Archons as another source of power.
Block the sword isn’t that big if u understand physics, that sword didn’t reach its maximum velocity meaning stopping a swing is a lot easier at the release than the ending of the swing
He doasen't really have any feats,and just because he had the gnosis Before celestia took it doasen't make him stronger than an archon,because they can also wield the power of a gnosis.Also Archons gain additional strenght based on how many people beliave in them,Raiden Ei for example can manipulate Reality and sooo many more abilities,Morax and Prime Venti too, Neuvillette just has no notable feats exept shooting water... Current strongest character should be The Raiden Shogun,after her its current Neuvillette.
Pretty sure Zhongli is considered the strongest archon, so even if he is losing power for not having the gnosis, it hasn't been that long and he should still be incredibly powerful. Spoiler, since as others have said you seem like you haven't completed 4.2. Neuvillette has full authority over the hydro element and can do something as crazy as converting all of the blood in every single Fontainian's veins from primordial water to real blood in pretty much an instant. He quite easily takes down the Narwhal (we are assisting but he does most of the heavy lifting).
@@THExJMC I don't think Zhongli is as powerful as it may seems. Sure, legends told about his many feats, but we've never seen him fight, and the Traveler beat Raiden who was a real fighter, so I can't really see how Zhongli could be stronger.

Aren't sovereigns the elements itself? Like the gnosis are a portion of their power that's why the archon who wield them have authority over that element, neuvillete might be young compared to the other archon but what the hell are they gonna do against the personification of hydro itself.

It has always been implied dragon sovereigns are much more powerful than archons. If we refer to gnosticsm which is the inspiration for genshin lore. The archons are below demiurge (the fraud ruler of the umiverse). The demiurge fears beings who dwells at the true origin of creations, these beings are draconic, in some version it is described as dragons. If you were a god and you used a devastating technique,you're not going to give it your all when the receiving end behind that technique is also the town that you look over,so it isn't really inconsistent writing as much as it is either a tiny neat detail or just fan service to Kazuha. Yes, and instead of a corresponding archon and Celestia, it is Nevilette who now unconsciously gives them out. These new Visions probably even don't have the usual "become Celestia's slave at the end of life" clause written in it.

I think we learned that visions are indeed granted by power of dragons that current archons have and while Raiden said that she does not have anything to do with granting visions the fact that Kazuha was granted Electro vision firs in who knows how much time, I believe that Ei subconsciously didn't want to kill him or smtng like that.
@@FBl I did read it. But archons are in possession of stolen dragons authorities and visions are granted from those. Neuivilette recognised that and made decisions to follow through. Giving part of his power to those he see fit. Furina being the first. Ei is dismissive when she talk about visions but also secretive. We now know that divine throne is what really make an archon and divine throne not gnosis. And divine throne may have some will of its own since it is made possible from dragons authorities. But Ei without throne would be still very proficient in wielding electro as she was before being appointed as archon. Dunno

Archons don't have a say in it, but they do actually give out visions, they just don't know who they give it out to, it's like a signal then they have to give a portion of their power to th3 vision holder, but they can't refuse or agree, they just have to do it That's why Ei says she doesn't actually have a say in who gets visions or not, she doesn't say she doesn't give them out she just says it's not by her choice that someone gets one
Its 6 moths late replying but I would like to say according to Zhongli's voicelines, he is getting stronger and stronger than the time he first gave up his gnosis. And also, his most gloriest battles were without the gnosis including the Archon War. Not to mention that he might be a descender, the fact that Azhdaha and Zhongli both possess the power Geo is different than a Hydro fighting a Geo. If you use logic, geo is way harder and better for both attack and defense while water is more smoother and can form more shape. Finally, you missed an important point that Zhongli's fight with Azhdaha was hard for 2 main reasons. First, Azhdaha has completely lost himself and it is not even Azhdaha that Zhongli was fighting, but rather a corrupted being aimed to kill everything it sees. Secondly, Zhongli wanted to seal up Azhdaha which was what made the process way harder. Sealing up Azhdaha vs killing him is way harder. Think of a killer with crazy mental illness, killing him would be easy but capturing him and sending him back to a mental hospital without destroying the surrondings or the least casualties of citizens. The police could just fire at the killer and he will die, but capturing him is way harder.
I have a theory.... every one dogs on Rex Lapiz as being a weak 5 star and weak archon play wise I've noticed.... but you know what he does have? A unbeatable shield that protects you and your allies... the best way to scale this power is by exchanging strength for health or life maybe 🤷♂️ 😉. So he stepped down, to avoid or reduce erosion. From what info we gathered it seems faith is converted to power when an Archon "seats on the throne" (not literally). Thus, while Barbatos is worshipped, the faith doesn't become power. It was forbidden knowledge that made a difference the second time.
3 months late. Just gonna say that I personally feel like the Forbidden Knowledge did more harm to the Sovereigns than it did help them. Hell, it had them so messed up that Apep decided to use Deshret's Kingdom as guinea pigs to see if it could be at all usable without tearing yourself apart. It seems as though Phanes/Primordial One was battling with the Dragons for quite the long time, with the use of Forbidden Knowledge being what sealed the Dragons' fate. Of course, Neuvillette is still only a single Sovereign, so he for damn sure isn't beating Celestia unless the Primordial One is on some Waarhammer 40K crack and is just a glorified corpse using its various puppets to keep control over the world

If neuvillette was to fight apep(the elemental sensor dragonl) neuvillette would definitely win since apep doesn’t have her elemental authority nahida does so apep is massively weakened
@@archie2456 yes, and the new world quest sheds some light on how new elementals dragons are born or evolved with time with same old authority and memories, Neuvilitte has regained the power but still lacks memories.
Also: 1) Azhdaha didnt have his authority ye but Zhongli did share a bit of his power with him prior to the fight so he wasnt totally weakened 2) Azhdaha admitted Zhongli was "always the strongest" among them 3) its harder to seal than kill. Azhdaha also stated zhongli was capable of killing him ("if it werent for that, you would've killed me ages ago...")
I believe when they say he shared his power was that back when azdaha was below ground possibly a weakened sovereign or a normal dragon he gave him eyes with his power or after giving him eyes he gave him a little of his power so he could be normal again basically or like de age.
Also about the sealing part it wasn’t done by zhongli the seal was done by thte adepti he called to help him. In a world quest it was revealed that zhongli fought azdaha back and when he managed to do so (which we don’t know if he was holding back or azdaha was as both contradict each other) he told the other adepti to seal him and so they did
Nahida and venti could be the strongest and here is why Nahida can literally alt+f4 someone in Teyvat this includes the archons , also she can loop the archon in the samsara cycle While Venti theoretically can summon a black hole due his element Anemo This black hole can decompose your skin and destroy all of Teyvat

Wow people on this channel don't like neuvillette for some reason even ignoring that THE MAN CAN CHANGE FATE IT SELF yet naaaaaa he weak pro trust be bro. Only the heavenly principles and their shades are allowed to change fate so him being able to change it makes him already above all the Archons who are bounded by fate. If we should compare neuvillette to someone it shouldn't be the heavenly principles (because first they are gone possibly, sacrificed them selfs 500 years ago and even if they didn't the heavenly principles is the strongest entity in the story) but should be comperd to she shades which are stronger then the archon but weaker then the primordial one, and since we don't know much about them we can't really compare for know. So it's time to to put the basis aside and acknowledge neuvillette as the current strongest character both in lore and gameplay. At least until new information presented itself......
5:10 should have given more attention while playing story instead of skipping dialogues. The writing is very good and consistent. The moment where Kazuha stopped Raiden’s slash was a throwback. The whole Inazuma story revolved around how Ei is the epitome of power and how no gods matched against her Musou no hitotachi. Hell, she struck once to kill Orobashi and ended up splitting three islands. The moment Kazuha stopped the strike actually validated another phrase that was being used quite so often. ‘Human ambition can even topple the heavenly principles’. Kazuha’s ambition to save his friend was so strong, combined with his dead friend’s ambition to face the divine judgement stopped the attack. It doesn’t make Ei weak. It signifies the role human ambition plays in the story.
I don't remember where exactly, but I recall someone in the game saying the dragons grow stronger with age? So like, I wonder if it's possible that Apep with several thousand years behind her is now about as strong if not stronger than Neuvillette with his authority restored, since Neuvillette kinda seems to be around 500 if not younger.
If this is true than Natlan better bring the heavy hitters of playable characters then otherwise no one will pull for them if they’re not as strong if not stronger than Nuevellete.
Neuvelette has to be the weakest soverign (with authority) I mean hydro is probably the weakest element in lore I can't imagine the pyro authority being anything but RAW CRACK.
With his authority alone, he was able to modify the the body of all Fontanians, converting the Primordial Sea in their veins into actual blood. No archon has the capability of doing this considering they’re scared shitless of Heavenly Principles. Neuvillettes authority is on par with the Heavenly Principles.

@@you-yn5hp Some sus leaks say that the Pyro Sovereign in Natlan is the oldest and most powerful of the new Sovereigns, and that his power, even without the Pyro Authority, is already equal to that of a fully-fledged Sovereign. Of course, these leaks are probably gonna be fake, so unless the concept art for the Pyro Sovereign and the Electro Sovereign (she's in Natlan as well according to the leaks, and is apparently a total pushover) gets leaked like what happened with the Fontaine characters, it's safe to disregard them.

Dude, Hydro Sovereign was considered as Prince of dragons, kinda second in hierarchy right after dragon king Nibelung... Hydro Sovereign is basically original source of all biological life in old Teyvat. He is not the weakest by far, most likely second after Nibelung.
Neuvillette is strong but Zhongli is the strongest he's hiding his power and waiting because he knows war is coming any time . feels like Liyue as a land and ppl gives you the vibes of the strongest ( in characters , you can rely and go to ) and most stablished in all Teyvat . he didn't interfere because he knows Liyue ppl stronger mentally and power . Neuvillette needs time to fully control his powers he will take time ( maybe 500 years more )
