Both. The creator pays for the group to exist. $100 per month If the creator decides to make the group free, then members don’t pay. If the group has a price, then the members pay too (whatever creator decides)
@@I-will-teach-you-1to1 the creators always pay 100$. And I believe the creator gets 100% of members money. So, Skool makes money from groups (100$ each), while the creator makes money from referrals and members

That's what most of those "you make money by getting people to subscribe to what you're also subscribing to" businesses are referred to as (when they aren't being outright called a pyramid scheme). Many people join them having no idea you have to literally sell people who will stick with it and also sell to people who will also stick with it, etc. So many people are in and out on the base while the people at the top could care less (but I'm sure they are in fact high charisma players and nurture their flock). Typical signs it's an MLM: 1. They call you (the recruit) and independent business owner (IBO), despite you likely having nearly zero if any. 2. You have to buy in and subscribe to some service or products to be part of it. (usually a package renewal) 3. You don't make any money until you have also gotten 2 or 3 other people to sign up and become a (recruit) "IBO." 4. You will probably have someone continuously sending you stuff about hopping on a training call or going to events every week, or doing a hosue warming or party and SURPRISE here's a service you all can subscribe to and make tons of money (by getting others to join). Some are genuinely disgusting and provide next to nothing for the initial package or services you subscribe to and you really are buying into a ponzi.
