@@TorqueAndTwisted with a little bit of common sense, I will always feel like I'm In danger with any enclosed can near fire, not so much I'm scared but just know anything could happen in a moment and would rather not end up being too cautious and having an incident, not too cautious, idk why I wrote that, I meant feel as tho I'm being cautious but I'm not really being cautious enough because I'm too comfortable and feel safe
Very very recently I found out that PB blast penetrating oil is flammable but only under pressure. I had some PB blast on a old nut and bolt and everything that I had gotten off and I was doing some welding right there next to it and all the sudden this bright blue flame started shooting out from in between the bolt and the nut Right where I was welding and it turns out that PB blast after it's under an extreme amount of heat and a lot of pressure will blow torch
I’m curious what you think caused the fire ball seen in video? The same WD40 comes out of the straw sprayer as it does the non-straw sprayer on these cans
That brought back memories of my old coworker chasing me around there shop with a can wd-40 and a lighter, nobody got hurt, and it’s really funny looking back lol
LOL I think by now it would be close to WD43 ? They haven't changed the WD40 fluid, it's the propellant that has changed thru the years a few times. Some of the older propellants were more flammable/combustable.
LOL well I can tell you this about duct tape, you get what you pay for. Don’t expect the Harbor Freight or Dollar General stuff to do much good…but I’ve had a strip of black gorilla tape on a patio floor covering a crack that ants liked to use, that tape has now been there thru 7 years of subzero winters and 100 degree summers
Basically anything aersolized is flammable. Remember yall oxygen is fuel to fires. When you concentrate the gas then allow it all out in a burst. It acts like a super fuel...
@@TorqueAndTwisted with enough heat and pressure you wouldnt create a planet youd create solid carbon. Our planet consist alot more than just carbon.(diamonds) and there arent any planets that are soley carbon. Get a blowtorch and an airchuck. Pressurize the bit, open the torch and viola homemade flamethrower out a pesticide can
The answer no. There is no new WD-40. Nor can their ever be. If there was a new formula it would be atleast 41. Which by definition would not be 40 so it can never exist.
From what I've read, the newest cans are using CO2 as propellant. Previous to the CO2 propellant, cans were filled with a liquified gas similar to propane/butane.
It says it right on the can: FLAMMABLE. CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE. HARMFUL OR FATAL IF SWALLOWED. it's a petroleum product, that's what's flammable, not the propellant.
Allegedly, the WD40 formula itself hasn't changed at all since released. However, they have changed the propellant a few times over the years to follow current laws.
