Everyone is ready to party there! With restrictions being lifted I bet it just keeps getting busier. Steve is a farmer and now an expert horse carriage driver! What an amazing experience.
Great video guys! David and I have done a Nile cruise in Egypt in 2019 and it was so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing the video and CONGRATULATIONS on 10k subscribers!!
What an awesome room 😍❤️ We love cruises, and miss it so much! Steve is a history fan just like me! Love learning all these things about Egypt from you guys! Look at all those kitties!
What an incredible experience! The ship is charming. The food is delicious. The people and warm and gracious. All contribute to main focus - Egypt's amazing scenery and history. Great video as always guys!
It definitely had old school charm which we much appreciated and never went hungry! Egyptians as a whole were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially towards Gokce... no surprise of course! Thanks so much Scott, hope you are feeling well!
The saddest thing we had to do was cancel our Nile cruise back in December, we would also have cruised from Aswan to Luxor 🥺 but luckily we get to do the cruise through your eyes…looks like an amazing experience 🤩 it’s really nice how your tour guide kept checking in with you. Your room looked so big and comfortable, with fantastic views 🥰 Liked how you guys included a bit of the history at each site! Great video you guys 🙏🤗
Aww Chantz, sending you a big and warm hug ❤ and from the bottom of my heart I really hope you can get to travel to Egypt. It was by far our best experience and cannot recommend it enough.
There is no deNILE your channel is one of my favorites. We just got back from our 8 day roadtrip. This boat is huge. You guys are doing it right! You guys are like living in a movie set! I get excited about a lot of things but wish I had a history nerd like Steve to explain everything. I don’t blame them, those 🐊 are joke.
Hey guys! This looks like an awesome luxury cruise and definitely a must-do in Egypt. You guys seem to always get great tour guides! Love learning about the Egyption history through your video 😃
Haha, we've definitely had a few crummy ones along the way, but we definitely lucked out in Egypt... we did our best but like Gokce said, a few of them were definitely confusing.
What a dream cruise! We would LOVE to do a cruise on the Nile. And what a beautiful ship! Your room looked so nice! Also your poor head after hitting it on the boat 😂 I'm so sorry lol. If it makes you feel better, I ran into a TV yesterday. Ben would definitely be history-nerding out at the Egyptian ruins with Steve. All of the ruins you saw looked amazing!
Awww Rachel, sounds like we are both clumsy 😂 and haha Steve and Ben would get along well then, I am not good with keeping all that information in my head about the history 😅
That cruise looks really cool! I didn't make it to Aswan on my recent trip to Egypt but I actually just posted a video from my time in Luxor, which I *loved!* It was a really incredible experience.
I did the same cruise back in 2019 with Ahmed as well. He was awesome and Heba too. I had a wonderful experience them. There is definitely a lot to see.
What an incredible overall experience. The history of the temples was quite interesting, especially the one that was moved! I can't imagine the work it took to move and preserve it. The process of going under that bridge was so cool. I can't believe those vendors that come right up on the boats 😆 Thanks for sharing the differences between the river cruise and American cruises, it is good information to know before booking!
Absolutely and glad you enjoyed it! You two love cruises and Nile River Cruise is definitely much different than the American ones! So worth it for sure!
Another great video. The pros and cons at the end were a welcome segment for those of us planning this trip. So good to know about the water and other beverages. We will definitely bring our own. What did you pay for this trip? Did you book on WhatsApp? What would you budget for the additional activities, temple fees and tips? Also I wondered if the boat didn’t sail for the day in Aswan because people were going all the way to Abu Simbel?
Glad you enjoyed this one too! That is correct, but we imagine if you stay over in Aswan, you could set up a separate trip to Abu Simbel as well. We booked it through Egypt gift tours. We emailed them first and heba got in contact with us really quickly. You can book a package with Abu simbel and a hot air balloon ride included as well or add each one on separately.
What an adventure! It did seem pretty windy, was that because of the time of year? Egyptian history is a bit of a minefield but guess it must make more sense when you visit, the temples & inscriptions look incredible. Steve absolutely nailed riding Rambo 😄👌🏼
Lieles would not not not not go to the crocodile museum, because he would think that they could awake and eat him... 🙆🙆 In the south of Spain, especially Seville, we get to ride carriage too. But when I took Lieles to Seville for the first time, he had never done it before. Look at Steve! Woohoo!! Driving a Rambo Ferrari hahaha
3 day cruise on the Nile is ridiculously short. 7 days is the minimum anyone should do. We actually did a 10 day cruise from Aswan to Cairo and saw so many more impressive sites.
That seems like such an interesting cruise experience. I've only ever cruised with American cruise ships so it seems quite different. I don't think I'd enjoy the crowds getting off the ship approaching the passengers - too much chaos but that happens in most ports. It was interesting to hear they didn't have food available 24/7 and that you stayed for 24 hour in the port before leaving!
Yeah it was very much different than the American/Western cruises for sure, it has pros and cons but definitely worth to try it as its a special occasion. Yeah, unfortunately, once you are out of the ship its a bit chaotic lol
Though it's not a super huge cruise but surprised to see how spacious your room is! It looks very luxurious too. It's good that you guys can do some sightseeing too while doing the cruise. Ouch, those people trying to sell something to tourists can be a bit annoying sometimes. 😅
It was a little much, but at the end of the day we know how difficult the last year plus was for them... they seemingly save the biggest rooms for foreigners, all non-Egyptians wound up being in the same wing of the boat!
Amazing video. Crisp info and beautiful visuals.. 🙂 Which cruiseline did you guys book with? And do the tour guides at every port come with the tour package or one needs to book them separately?
Thank you so much! It makes us so happy to hear that. We booked the cruise via Egypt Gift Tours the boat is called Princess Sarah, there are so many tours selling for the same cruise lines. It depends on the tour company, but Ahmed was with us for the entire cruise and at every stop.
This is on our bucket list for sure, but we want to bring my mom. I'm slightly worried about the boat transfers and how much walking is involved. How much walking did you do per day? Looks like an amazing experience though. I'm impressive with your carriage driving Steve. Well done!
I'm going on a 5-night Nile cruise in ~2 weeks from now. I leave next Wednesday for 23 days in Jordan and Egypt. I'll spend my 60th birthday in Cairo and then leave the continent at like 3 AM. The tour actually ends the day before, but I paid for an extra night in the hotel. Not looking forward to all the trinket hawkers, though. Were all the meals on the ship buffets?
First and foremost, happy early birthday!! What an amazing birthday trip plan! In terms of the food on the cruise, yes it was just one dining area with a buffet. Hope you have a wonderful time celebrating your 60th! ☺❤
Thank you for sharing, first, what cruise ship this was ? And did you think that 3 days was long enough to see everything? Did you get off the ship in Luxor and still stay on the tour? We are planing to go for the 3 days, but not sure if it’s enough! Did you do the abo simbal tour? And if so., what time did you get back , so we know when he book our flight back? Unfortunately we only have 5 or 6 days to spend there, so I would love some recommendations.
Hi Amal, this was the Princess Sarah. We honestly felt 2 nights was enough for the cruise as the first night the boat does not even go anywhere, you just sleep on it at the dock in either Aswan or Luxor. We did not do Abo Simbal, but you would have to wake up at 4am to make it out there as I believe it is a 3+ hour ride from Aswan and then 3 hours back. For Luxor we did a separate private tour through the same company, but if we did not do a private tour we would have continued with Ahmed in Luxor. You can check out or Luxor tour here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qqBNdK2FzoU.html
Why do they keep talking to you in Spanish? "Hola" "un regalo" I don't like when people harass like that, yet we do understand that is the only way to make some income, but I feel overdoing it push buyers away. Wow 3 seasons? That is such a discovery, they were truly so advance
I have a question about traveling to Egypt today, since the conflict in Israel Im concern about the security has tighen more in Eygpt. The airport security has rampt up with long lines at customs and checking your luggage. You didn't talk much on this video about taxi or uber from the airport to your hotel or hostel. I wonder if its chaos so do you recommend the hotel to pick you up at the airport or hire uber? I plan to visit Cario and do the tourist cruise like the one you posted did you fly from Cario to Aswan and start your boat cruise from there to Luxor, I am trying to figure out the cruise thing and excursions activities where it stops along the nile river. The US state dept is warning US citizens to be cautions when traveling to this region, I wait so long to travel to Cario and Luxor, I am trying to hurry up and brush up about my visit there, without getting distracted about the current events as each day is getting dangerous. Thanks, and great video guys!
Hi there, thanks for watching! We do recommend getting in touch with a tour guide/hotel for taxi arrangements. We took an Uber by ourselves a couple of times but did not have the best experience as they made us wait for a long time hoping we would cancel the rides. We flew to Aswan to take the cruise from there. You can see our Egypt stories here: Egypt Travel: ru-vid.com/group/PLzKPlzsQZ0r6DQeS-GDx37_zzM9PkaxQI Due to the current situation it's hard to say anything but if you are eager to go it will be an amazing trip, just please make sure you have a reliable tour guide like Mostafa. Thanks again and have a safe trip 🙏
guys I am finally heading to Cario kind-a have butterflies in my tummy, I only book my flight only not the hotel in Egypt yet. So I have a question I hope you can answer it before I leave the week of thanksgiving. Having enough phone data is priority for me. Should I buy a simi card at the airport in Cario, my US phone plan doesn't cover Europe / Egypt, and did you buy one, how much it cost you/brand name of simi card, I will need to buy one for Rome Italy as well, is my second stop. much appreciated guys. @@TravelInteresante
@@humlocker We would try to resolve your cell phone service before getting to Cairo if possible or possibly reaching out to your tour guide or company. Cairo airport can be a bit chaotic, so I would try to avoid doing it yourself. We use Google Fi with an e sim card and have service in almost every country worldwide as soon as we land, so we didn't have to figure out our sim card situation when we landed in Egypt. Wish we could help more.
Egypt is the most dangerous place for tourists in the world. Read up on the recent case of Giulio Regeni, the poor Italian university student who was abducted off the street by egypian police and ended up repeatedly tortured and homosexually raped by the local police chief, before being finally murdered and his body dumped by the same police who abducted him. The real horror is that Regeni was just one, while egyptian lawyers and activists state that at least twenty thousand young egyptians suffer a similar fate at the hands of egyptian military and police EVERY YEAR. For God's sake, do not let your young people travel to this mad, cruel, corrupt country, run by thugs and perverts. Do not go there yourself. Once the police decide to abduct you, to rob, rape or whatever, your chances of getting out alive are negligible. Read up on the Regeni case. The police lied repeatedly and refused to co-operate with international investigations. But the truth got out, in piecemeal fashion, in the end. But, the horror is in the real numbers of more than twenty thousand Egyptian Regenis who die awful deaths EVERY YEAR in this sick, and dangerous nest of perverts and thugs.
The cruise goes from Aswan to Luxor or vice versa. We booked the cruise via Egypt Gift Tours the boat is called Princess Sarah, there are so many tours selling for the same cruise lines.
@@TravelInteresante Thank you Madam for the reply. Actually I wish to visit this marvellous place, but while going through the news of attack on a tourist bus near Giza couple of years ago, I am little bit confused and at the same time I am scared also. You have rightly said that, Terror attacks can happen at anytime anywhere. So, I want to know whether The Egyptian Government provide adequate security for the tourists ?
It is impossible to guarantee safety anywhere in the world but we saw that Egyptian tourism police is trying to protect tourists, and they are everywhere.
hii, I'm planning to go to Egypt too and I want to ask that from your opinion, should I bring the camera (Canon camera) when travelling Egypt? ^^ Thank you so much!!
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life
Tell us you've never been to Egypt without telling us you've never been to Egypt 😅 It's survived 7000 years of weather, war, etc. I think it can survive a little touching by the tourists.
No idea why this appeared in my list but maybe they know i appreciate beautiful young ladies in nice fitting jeans...............from the rear, of course.
Lovely video and the trip looked fantastic but PLEASE DON'T promote horse and carriage rides. Making horses pull oversized loads is just cruel. It might be fun for you but it's not fun for them. These are old practices that need to stop in countries like this, and by promoting it, you're normalising it. It's animal exploitation and it's not OK.
Great video! But please don’t promote the use of horse carriages in Egypt. There are no strict welfare laws in these countries and these trades are often all very abusive. I’m currently working with an Equine Charity here in Egypt and have witnessed this first hand, so please do your research first.
I am a woman who is sick of hearing other men (like yourself) criticizing women for their reactions towards men's physical harassments. As a woman, if I'm randomly physically grabbed on the street whether it's in the US, France or Egypt, that's my reaction as it's my body and my personal space.
Love how many people desire a large room? I have stayed in o pods, $11 but I don't care about the size of the room, I only use it to sleep, shower and Hmmm. Gotta love most people using a useless paper mask LOL, wasting your time with that one, I was up in Cairo, same time, no one was wearing the feel good waste of time mask.
