If you aren't hipster enough for the Virgin or rich enough for the Ritz-Carlton, stay at the Kimpton Eventi, also in Nomad. Great property, great restaurant, half the price.
I felt the same way. they were comparing apples and oranges. you can't ignore the price point difference. at any rate, both places are hip, new and exciting in their own ways.
I grew up in the Flower District and it is sad that the neighborhood's old buildings have gone to make way for these new buildings no New Yorker can afford to live there anymore. We've been there since the late 60's.
Exceptional review(s). Tanner's enthusiasm knocked it out-of-the-park. When the excitement is genuine you can feel it through the screen. Nicky got the short end of the straw in this review. The room was not even desirable. Quite disappointed in the Virgin America hotel, but very happy to know to avoid staying there. Thanks for another great review guys. ps: missing the club house sandwich room service review lol
I thought it was stunning. Yes, his room was small, but I've seen smaller in NY, and I think it's perfectly fine for a single person for a short term stay. But I'm certain there are also larger rooms you can get there.
@@aquagamer1212 ahh yes, Greg should pay the 2500 and stay at the Ritz. the Virgin rooms are fine for what they are and like you said there are different sized rooms available. in fact, Greg might like Richard's two level flat. it's available when Branson is not there.
@@GalaxyNexus1 exactly, maybe Greg could book Branson's two floor flat which is available when Branson is not there. the rooms at the Virgin are fine. they do offer a variety of room sizes.
Thank you guys so much for spotlighting these 2 hotels. I was actually specifically looking for videos on these very 2 hotels, and found your amazing comprehensive video on them both!
The best looking RC I’ve seen. Generally not been a fan of them. This one is modern. I definitely prefer it to virgin you pay for it but I’m willing to pay for better
