Is Nwaneri Arsenal’s Next STAR? 

Need a back up winger for sure but I hope Arteta finds a way to integrate Nwaneri this season

i would say play the kid when Saka needs a rest. Watched him at U17 euro, he was brilliant. Unless we play him, he wont get the exposure. Spent the money on a proper midfielder who can play 6 and 8 who is technically better than Declan and a CF. i would defo go for Sesko. He is the exact profile we need and not over priced in today's market. i like Bruno G but his recovering runs are slow. Everything else he is brilliant.

I don't see him as a winger to be fair. He's more like a replacement for Smith-Rowe in my eyes. Watched him on the under-17 tournament and his vision and creativity are insane. For me more of a CAM than a winger material

I hear you that he may get 'more' game time, but I don't think he'll get much... and when he does come on he's most likely going to be instructed to 'keep it simple', therefore slightly hindering his development. So maybe sign a back up and loan out Nwaneri. - OR just let him adapt to the senior team mainly from the bench and in training 🤷🏾‍♂️

I believe Ethan does have the quality, but mainoos path is much easier, fortunately for him lol

@@HJ80307 that amount leaving is pretty normal... those clubs you mentioned don't give 50% of their youth a chance at top flight. You do that with the talented ones. Those teams you mentioned have about the same number of academy players in top flight as we do. Some of theirs just happened to be more talented. Not everyone can be saka and foden

Patino simply isn't good enough. People seem to have hugely inflated expectations of him. Smith Rowe's problem has been all the injuries. Arteta HAD incorporated Smith Rowe as a fully-fledged member of the 1st team squad. Then the injuries hit.

Deep down you know he's not good enough if he goes on loan..90% of players who go loan never come back and play

Sorry when u mean RM do u mean real madrid? Cmon mate, we have never operated like them. They sign superstars and cream of the crop players for megasize fees and wages. We never do that and haven't been doing so for a decade already. Our strategy of recent have been recruiting the right sort of profile players for the team and we sort of develop them further; they are not necessarily the finished product or proven big name players. You can argue Declan rice is a megasized fees, but look at all the jeers and boos from rivals when we signed up, even saying we overpaid for an average player, that is the sort of perception he got when he first arrived but arsenal always knew and believed in his qualities. And he developed under arteta between a hybrid 6-8 roles and will continue to do so, he even improved his goal tallies and assist in his first season and had a stellar debut season. This is NOTHING like RM who always go for proven players that the whole world already know about and had little doubts over
