Andrew Gillis and Jimmy Watkins talk about what they've seen from Ohio State through five games, and if the Buckeyes are ready to head on the road and beat Oregon.
Oregon was slower gelling outta the gates but they also replaced a lot more players this offseason. I have a feeling Ohio State is gonna get an Oregon team that’s gonna be firing on all cylinders. However as a Ducks fan Ohio has a little more talented than Oregon. More 5 ⭐️ however Oregon is far and away those most talented offenses Ohio State has played it ain’t Iowa.
Neither team is gonna win by more than 7 pts. I agree it’s gonna be about the trenches but let’s get real here. Boise State is the best team on either teams schedule so far. It’s gonna be a good one. Can’t wait !
Still talking about week 1 like it’s relevant to this game. We had a freshman at center because our starter Poncho had to cover for an injured player. The first 2 games there was a lot of shuffling around on the O line because of injuries, it happens. Not saying who wins this game one way or the other but you can’t invest too much into the first 2 weeks for any team.
I think its gonna be close but i think ohio state needs chew up clock run the ball at least 35 times i would only pass 20 times or 25. Just pound the ball and take the shots when its there. Defense needs stay on schedule. We need to limit there big play
Oregon fan here, don’t doubt yourselves. Personally, I think if you simulate this game 100 times, Ohio State wins more than Oregon. Can Oregon win? Yes. Can Ohio State win? Yes. Key for Ohio State is getting that pressure on Dillon. Send the extra blitzer. Dillon hasn’t been good under pressure. Anyways, Go Ducks!
No they are not ready, when they insist in almost every game so far to play incompetent a 1st quarter or a first half while in coma. 1 TD vs Iowa for the whole 1st half?!!!!!!! Such disgusting offense so far will not cut it vs stronger teams, starting with Oregon.
28-21 Buckeyes. But it could go either way tbh. Both teams are very evenly matched. I give the nod to Ohio State only because of the running game. If the offensive line can continue to improve and win in the trenches, they should be able to squeak out of Oregon with a W
