Surah 5 Al-Maidah (The Table) Ayat no. 32 Translation: Because of that We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. I am a first year med student. We perform or view disections on perserved human cadavers and also study bones from the museum. Being a muslim and studying in a muslim country, it kind of raises a question in my mind whether it is permissible . Kindly can someone explain how they get the cadavers? Is it permissible in Islam or not? Beacuse ideally the body should be in the grave.

Brother if u don't know about islam & Qur'an do not spread the lie. Allah has clearly mentioned in Qur'an in Surah maidah ( surah no. 5 & verse no. 34 ) If any one save any other human being it is as though as you are saving whole of the humanity. Lets assume this is true for your sake and break it all down: 1) Imagine a contract where there is a 10% chance to win $100 billion and anything else you want, BUT a 90% chance you are skinned alive, stiched up, skinned alive again, repeatedly for the 1000s of years + other torture you can't imagine. Please tell me if YOU would actually accept this deal right now? NO ONE would accept this unless they were forced in someway to accept this deal by something even more horrific than the torture... 2) Which leads to, what made humans actually sign this ridiculous contract? We didn't exist before, so did god say sign this contract or go back to being dust? It sounds like an ultimatum, humans were forced to agree to this test -- either you get to exist as human by accepting this test, or are never created, which honestly I would take over the possibility of eternal torture...this alone makes the contract illegal and useless if the person was indirectly forced or wasn't told about the torture clause in the contract...which again is illegal. 3) When you sign a contract, you have to KNOW and be AWARE you signed it, so they can abide by the contract. Its no different than forcing a fingerprint signature from a drunk passed out person. Imagine you were held at gunpoint and forced to sign a contract that has a 90% chance you get tortured for the rest of your life. Then the criminal hits u in the head repeatedly so you don't even remember it, and then the criminal takes you to court regarding the contracts clause so he can torture you forever. Makes sense? This whole thing sounds hella sadistic doesn't it, pun intended. 4) You are who you am in this very moment based on your experiences on EARTH, so if God were to ask me RIGHT NOW, to accept this contract but I won't remember it...i would 1000% decline. Then how is it possible that God claims I agreed to it because he got consent from manifested version of me before I was even born...even though that version is NOT this version because it never existed and lived on Earth before...I know for a fact I wouldn't sign it right now...so this doens't make sense, does it? 5) Assume we all did for some ridiculous reason sign this horrible contract. It still means that God INTENTIONALLY made humans in such a way that he KNEW they would be stupid enough to accept a contract with a high probability of eternal torture. Yet again, it proves God intentionally did all of this and made humans in a way where 90% of them would suffer unimagineable torture for eternity. 6) Lastly, why did a merciful loving god even create a sadistic hell, and don't tell me its to scare people for their own sake. We all know parents raising their kids using fear is UNHEALTHY for their development, but atleast parents dont threaten to skin their kids alive and pour lava in their eyes and mouth to get them to do house chores...so please don't go the route of saying God did this as a deterrent for your own good. If god cares about his creation more than even a mother...well would your own mother torture you in barbaric ways for an ETERNITY because you didn't do laundry? This alone should be proof for you, it destroys god's self proclamation of being the most merciful and empathetic which is contradictory to his sadistic torture that he has promised people who don't believe in him.

Our purpose is to worship, not just to be tested. We are tested to see if we're up to our purpose. For example, when you bake a cake, the purpose is to be eaten. But before the cake is ready for its purpose, you test it be poking it with a knife. Sometimes multiple tests. But once the cake is ready, it will fulfil it's purpose.
