We've had thousands of videos on the 850. Actually, not really. What has felt like more than hundreds of videos on the 850 we have come to the conclusion that the Volvo Gods just say it isn't our time yet. It is making our summer dream of the Volvo delayed slightly longer than we anticipated. None the less, we are working hard and diligently to get this car to a running working standard. From doing this to it, that to it, it just keeps doing one thing or the other. Hopefully with all your guys' efforts and viewership, we can continue to make this Volvo 850 right!

It’s the first day of spring and I can’t wait for the weather to improve as I’m doing the street-side mechanic thing on my S60. Got parts, tools and car! Now I need some warm sunny days! When I picked up mine they said the battery was dead. I tested and came up with good readings. Went over every ground connection I could find and made sure they were tight. Fired up on the first try, threw my tags on it and took off. Not sure, but it seems like a lot of these Volvo models, at least the P2 chassis, have wiring issues over time. Look forward to seeing you get that thing to the next level!

We really appreciate your viewership! We’re trying to find a issue even after one’s been fixed. It’s pretty frustrating to a certain point. Our S60 has some wiring issues for the turn signals, but we can only imagine how some are comparing this 850 to other Volvos. Some have it easy, some have it worse! Hopefully we’ll find the end of the stick at some point!

Ok so this is stating the obvious but 850’s love to flood and not run it sounds like it might be turning over a bit fast so the rings could have unsealed what I do is take an air compressor put the hose in the spark plug hole and shoot air down in there if it’s not sealed you will hear it seal up. I’ve never had all cylinders do it but if you guys fixed the issue and cranking it to much de sealed the rings it could definitely be the issue easy fix definitely worth a try Ps if it runs like shit when it starts they aren’t all sealed give er the beans they’ll seal if not you have a bigger issue

That’s some really, really great info. These older Volvos pre P2s and such are a pain sometimes just because not a lot of information is findable online. We were fortunate enough to have you encounter our video and give us some advice. We haven’t had any spark since the whole pcv replacement, but it does indeed sound like it’s cranking pretty fast! We’re gonna try this out and see what happens! Thanks for the advice!😎

@@WhipGetters yeah it can be hard to find info I actually work at ipd so it’s easy for me to get info through co workers that’s where I learned most of my tips, goodluck on the car been really enjoying the videos
