As an RPNVG owner -- yes. Yes it is. I can't imagine going back to 40 degree duals. What are you using to film? The quality is astounding.

The more I watch these videos the more I love my cheap pvs14. Works great for LRRPing in the woods or desert.

I run a NoiseFighters Panobridge with Dual PVS14 GEN3 WP, I was swapping a FLIR Breach in and out on my left eye but now have been more consistently only running dual tubes. The Panobridge and the ARC are extremely smart. One thing I wish any company would make is a Universal E-Coti System. I would love to run my FLIR Breach sandwiched between the Dual PVS14's, but no one makes a bridge capable of that, I wish there was a product allowed the FLIR to be mounted on top of the mount or even weapon mount and then pipe the image back to the PVS14's. But nothing is available and I'm not an Electrical Engineer.

Are you planning on reviewing the new ARC panning bridge at some point? Articulation, 40fov-65fov in less than a second, tool-less system, and the IPD is adjusted as it pans out making adjustments very easy. Mount comes in at $400 and 2.5oz

The future will be a heads up display connected to drones with IR, Thermal and lidar sensors, and all of that will be directly connected to your rifle optic that monitors projectile trajectory and corrects POA in real time to accommodate.

Awesome review as always, I still haven't ever gotten my grubby mits on a dual tube setup of any variety. I've got a fair amount of time running a monocular, it'd be cool to see the difference.

They could us belleville washers as a lock washer, so that creates more tension to "lock" the settings in.

I'm currently running the FMA panobridge knock off. Throw some washers in there and tighten it up, and it holds up against recoil and running down hill though It is still not oopsie proof. Pretty good for 30 bucks shipped from china. I also tried the ARC Panoramic Bridge, but I did not like it.

I've heard people remark on older 'non-pano' dual 14 bridges that the lack of collimation can lead to headaches or a harder time mentally processing the image. Any thoughts on that from your experience with these?

The future is digital quads. Give em 3 years and we will have digital quadnods at120 fps, 144hz, 10hours of bat life, 4k oled round displays, full color spectrum AND WITHOUT IR ILLUMINATION. Thats the future. And in 7 years itll be like 1000bucks or less for all this.

This looks like an interesting product. How useable is it when using one eye? One of the biggest appeals I see talked to a dual PVS-14 setup vs RNVG/RPNVG/PeePeePooPooPee dedicated setup (other than price but it's getting close now. RPNVGs run about 8k and two good 14s run you a bit over that now) is the ability to split them and potentially have one for my helmet and one for my buddy to watch through or have. I feel like the fixed pano design would hinder that some.

Is this better than the RPNVG (if we are in the market for dual tubes)? Obviously the GPNVG would be optimal but $40k…

How does this NVB-58 compare to Arc Panning Bridge? I heard Arc can go from parallel to panning within seconds and doesn’t require adjusting IPD. So I guess it’s a more practical Panobridge?

If it wasn’t the future, the RPNVG wouldn’t exist, and the DTNVS pano retrofit wouldn’t have been teased

I recently came across the 40 degree fov vs 50 degree fov debate on night vision lenses. Which one do you recommend? 50 degree fov gives more… fov, but rear eyepiece is tiny and you need to wear it closer to your face. Idk if it’s a worthy trade off and idk if the military is going to the 50 to staying with the 40.

What do you gain by using more expensive/ high end rifle red dots vs $150ish red dots? Are they just more capable for NV usage? Or is it something else

Hopefully some way to reduce weight in intensifier tubes themselves would be good - feel like the housings and optics are as trim as they are going to get.

Just ordered my first PVS-14, looking for a mount. I don't see a reason to was money on a crap j-arm. Is this a reasonable solution for a monocular setup for the forseeable future? Otherwise I'll probably go for a AX-14 PRO on a G24.
