In July of 2020 the Greek island of Paros was voted ‘Europe’s best island’. Every year, the travel magazine Travel + Leisure releases its World’s Best Awards, based on a survey that includes responses from thousands of experienced travelers. This year Paros was voted best island in Europe once again. But with 6,000 islands in Greece alone, what makes this island the best one in Europe? DW reporter Meike Krüger traveled to Paros to find out.
