It’s wild that you said that. Back when I was working in the office full time, my company would often order lunch for my department and PF Changs was always one of our options. That was legit the only time that I have ever had food from this restaurant. I can agree that it is a more expensive version of Panda Express, which I have also only had once and thought it was food that you would feed to a cat that you didn’t want to be happy.
Just because sometimes the food is not great, does not mean the video is not great. Thank you for your consistency and hard work you put together m to make these phenomenal videos.
For anyone picking up food meant to be crispy or crunchy, open the container or box it's in immediately if you want it to stay crispy as the steam and heat will cause it to get soggy if you leave it closed.
Has to be a location thing…the PF Changs I go to here in Miami is nuts…in a good way…tender Mongolian beef with a very slight char…egg rolls a bit greasy at times but inevitable sometimes…and any chicken dish comes out nice and crispy and soft n tender on the inside..
@KingSchratz You may want to carry a collapsible carrying box in your trunk along with some of the packing material left over from your online purchase. This way you can keep your take out orders set well in the carry box. In addition, you can also add a garbage bag so that any spillage can be contained and hopefully less clean up! Have a wonderful day! ✌
I just heard recently watching you about a month ago and I’ve noticed that you post most every day and maybe almost every day I live for that brother. Keep it up.
Yeah, this is definitely a location based thing because the PF Changs near me hits like crazy. I had the Changs chicken and was surprised by how good it was. It tastes like good takeout Chinese food to me. It’s like an 8/10 overall in my opinion
@@brandonk2112 It’s an option if you don’t live near a good takeout spot is what I’m saying. It also offers other things a takeout spot doesn’t offer. It’s a chill place to eat if you want a quick date or going out with friends
A guy from China Town started a restaurant in my state and it's the best Asian food I've ever had. He also hired a professionally trained Japanese sushi chef to make their sushi. They charge LESS than PF Chang's, yet the PF changs in my area gets more business. Thankfully they have a devoted following, but still....it shows how low the standards are of the American consumer.
Had it once 10 years ago at their restaurant and wasn’t a fan. I’m a fan of their frozen selection at the grocery stores, more than anything if I want some cheap tasting Chinese takeout.
@@wani-rYou get it! I swear I can’t tell the difference lol! It’s cheaper at the grocery store too. They sell their main item dishes frozen, that people tend to order at their restaurant anyways.
P.F. Chang’s has always been solid for me. I like the quality of the meat and ingredients. I like the style of the fast Chinese places more or I guess “Cantonese style” but the places near me always be making the meat tough and rubbery as well. PF changs ain’t perfect but the ingredients and meat quality is solid.
The salt and pepper shrimp and the kungpao shrimp are to die for. Its always hard for me to decide which one to get but I usually go with kungpao. So good every single time. I also love the hot peach tea they have and always get a pot.
He always says "pretty standard egg roll"😂 Then riddle me this, Batman!: what then constitutes a great egg roll? That should be your next challenge....
In Chinese cuisine Dumpling sauce is usually made with Chinese vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and sometimes chili oil. Dumpling sauce is never just soy sauce. I love making my own. I used Philippine vinegar that is from sugar cane trees. It adds a little sweet acidic flavor to mellow out the soy sauce
I've worked at P.F. Chang's for 5 years now, and let me be the first one to say that judging the food after its been sitting in a closed to-go container for 10+ min is the wrong way to do it. any dine in restaunt is going to be this way. The whole menu is desgned for a dine in experience. I highly recomend you try it in the restraunt and not to go. The experience will be MUCH better!
PF Chang's was on my Birthday List 😮 I'm glad i watched you Review first!! Imo $100 even $50 is too much for a hit or miss restaurant. You just saved me at least $100 lol Great Review!!
this is so funny because my friend and i have never had PF Chang's and we're curious about it... but this just told me everything i need to know lol ty schratz
4 weeks, 1.8k likes...and no dislikes? thats how you know this man has good, relatable takes (edit) this dude really spend that much AND HE GIVES THE REST AWAY!?!? i never met a dude so humble with a loving fanbase, he doesnt compare mom and pop shops to each one, he is very specific but doesnt insult us like we are kids, and gives us a good value and deal, a true man and a amazing person. (I also love his style, the nail polish, piecrings, tattoos and that tank top all slap)
Hey King, since I see a lot of comments about honey chicken at PF Changs, it reminded me that Wingstop just announced today that they are incorporating the hot honey rub into their daily menu lineup. Good move I must definitely say! Hot honey rub has to be in the top 3 of my favorite flavors along with the Korean Q, NY Knicks lemon pepper garlic parm and maybe Louisiana rub.
“I know this is probably gonna be that Allen Iverson hard carry and I’m not mad at that, as long as the chili oil is good…(blank stare as cold harsh reality washes over him)…it’s not, it’s really not.” 😂😂😂 your disappointment was palpable brother!
I appreciate you for the honest review 👏🏿💯🗣️cause for years iv been PREACHING that P.F. Chang’s is incredibly bland and it’s just saved by its sauces..it not “BAD FOOD” just “bland” af lol Golden wok for me please 😁
I love pf chang. They have really good food. But it hits differently when your sitting down and there bringing your plate to your table. Than they make it putting it in a Togo box. I tried and order togo yea when I got home it just doesn't taste same. Next time you gotta bring a go pro cam and sit at the table and try that again👍
After I watching your videos all week, had to finally surprise. It’s so nice seeing a normal person putting out good vibes over the weirdness that is ReviewBrah
I just want to say as a lifelong Sixers fan he was saying no lies. That team had no business being anywhere close to an NBA finals and Alan Iverson literally just picked them up and dragged them all the way there.
I’ve been to 6-7 different Pf Chang’s locations and they were very mid compared to the one in Rogers, Arkansas. It’s managed very well and the cooks do a very good job. So Every time we order from there it’s always good. I love the Mongolian beef, Kung Pao shrimp, and beef fried rice. Their best dish ever was the crab and pork belly fried rice that’s no longer on the menu which sucks bc it was amazing. I tweet at them all the time telling them to bring it back.
I’m not happy you had the same experience i had with this place, but then again, i kinda am, because it objectively confirms my experience, the food was so expensive, and it literally tasted like nothing. lol
There is a Chinese restaurant local by me where there sesame chicken tasted like nothing. I was so disappointed because it was close but I do not go there anymore.
I like his videos and the places he goes but everything he buys be overpriced asl when he think he be getting a deal. I guess its a Jersey thing & everything expensive asl. They ain't no way inl I'm paying $25 for no entree, especially if it's mediocre. Idc if I'm getting paid for it are not🤷
I had went to PF changs for first time in like years in may and I don’t know If I just remembered it being a lot better than what I experienced, but it definitely wasn’t worth the price 😅
Damn you right fam that squad was complete ass eric snow matt Geiger 😂😂😂😂😂 yea Iverson definitely carried them sixers keep up the content fam hell you got me thinking of becoming a content creator myself
I'm from Australia and tried PF Chang's a few years back when I was in Hawaii. It was the most bland chinese food I ever had. The only thing that was okay was the San Choy Bow.
Boy, that was a let down, I expected higher review #’s than what you gave. My go to’s are Hot & Sour soup, Mongolian Beef, and Spicy Chicken. I haven’t been in years. There’s a Panda Express that I go to. I don’t want to drive 40min to a Mall and try to find parking for Chinese food Panda Express is 2mi up the street. Thanks for the review, bro. Save my $$.
Traditional dipping sauces are never just sweet. It’s a combination of all flavors: soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, chilli oil and scallion or minced garlic. Sweet sauces are cop outs catered to non-Chinese palates.
Can’t wait to watch this, I got gift cards there years ago and I went to try it. Did not like my food to say the least lol thank you to my sister in law for those gifts, at least I didn’t spend money on it lmao. I would not eat here again though 🤣
