As a console gaming enjoyer, i would say that both are very great. I don't like to say which one is better, because i love both. Both should respect each other and be friendly. That's my personal opinion, by the way.
I've always felt like the Xbox 360 was Dreamcast part 2...the 360 gave me that same feeling on being blown away by the extreme jump in graphics at that time & also the fluid simulation of the dreamcast. Though it didn't last long it's in my top 3 systems along with the PS2 & Xbox 360. Those were 3 systems that took gaming to another level
100% Feel the same way about the 360 being 'Dreamcast 2'. The 360 just always felt....fun. Probably the last time I felt that massive fun feeling on a console. Everything since then-while enjoyable, has felt like 'another piece of hardware'.
Admittedly I've been team Playstation since I was little, plus Sony has got the exclusives. However, I've been enjoying my Series S and Gamepass is a fantastic service so far. All those games for $15 a month is insane. PS Plus premium just doesn't entice me the same way
yeah and at least in m country u can find ps5 only in a 750euro bundle when the series S goes for 240 (bf deal) or 280(epic deal). also u can get game pass ultimate for like 30-40 euro per year if u add 12 months gold live and then add 1 month of game pass ultimate.
@@marzm246 how is it useless when it gives you access to games like kingdom hearts, final fantasy, basically the whole ps2 catalog and ps3 games with all ps4 PlayStation hit titles
In the OG Xbox the real superior selling point was the hard drive instead of annoying memory cards, which allowed the function of custom soundtrack on many titles. Such an underrated feature, in fact I was hoping you would talk about it but you didn't. Anyways a good job as usual, always a pleasure to watch your content.
The PS2 have a hard drive as well it comes with final fantasy 11 after I stop playing final fantasy 11 I deleted it from the hard drive and get a Chinese ROM CD that allowed me to rip games from the CD and install straight to the hard drive and I can play the games online because the PlayStation 2 was not modded back in 2005
Ps...is the best in all aspects...I'm praying this since 1994...so I know my shit... A try Xbox before in the pass but honestly....the best games...they for ps...so I'm sticking with ps forever
Honestly during this generation both consoles are absolutely amazing you can never go wrong with buying a Xbox or playstation at this point it's just whether what you like to play
I bought Xbox because I could find one from Microsoft store and I got the 0% 2 year financing with game pass. Been a Sony fan for almost every generation but I have to admit I'm as impressed with this Xbox as I was when I bought the OG. Definitely don't regret my purchase.
@@Superbad22 "no games to play" get a life clown both consoles have hundreds of games and specially Xbox with hundreds of games on gamepass lol "no games" what a clown fanboy
Personally I think that PlayStation is better only because of the exclusive games, don’t get me wrong forza and halo are great games but when your going against ‘The Last Of Us’ and ‘God Of War’ PlayStation easily gets it for me.
Personally for me playstation just seems more better, more reliable and just more fascinating but also i love the the xbox series s as for half the price and some insane specs for the price with up to 4m of 1440p 120hz its hard to beat with the pricy ps5
I am a Playstation gamer and I think I always will stay one. Games like Tlou, Ghost Of Tsushima, and God Of War Ragnarok have all given me amazing gaming experiences! Not to mention some of them have extra content, like Ghost's Iki Island and Left Behind for The Last Of Us.
In all honesty this debate is stilly. A bit like Apple vs Google phone. Both are equally is good and have their merits. One isn’t ‘better’ than the other. Each have their merits and if you were given either, you’re not likely to be disappointed. It always comes down to what games you want to play and what your friends are on. Cross platform games look exactly the same on each. There is no difference.
Xbox for me. I like how 80% of my old Xbox/360 library is BC and heck I can even emulate all my NES, Ps, PS2, etc on there too. Just amazing tbh oh and X1 games run/look much better too. All in all I'm extremely satisfied. Definitely my favorite console of all time atm. Don't get me wrong I love my NES and all other consoles I have gotten but newer stuff when done correctly just shines brightly and the XSX shines brightest for me and Xbox finally made a great D- pad. Only took 3 console generations! Elite controllers excluded, since that would make it two.
I like Sony better because for example, on the PS4 and PS5, you can easily connect your PSN account to your RU-vid account. On the Microsoft Xboxes such as the the Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, it is a hassle to connect your Xbox account to RU-vid account.
As a lifelong gamer from the days of the NES and MasterSystem I can honestly say that up until this generation Sony have owned it's rivals with every console introduced. That has now changed, I use my Series X way more than PS5 on cross platform games but the Playstion has much better exclusives.
Sony definitely didn't own it's rivals during every generation. During the 360/ps3 days, it was neck and neck for sales and I believe Nintendo beat everyone in the last generation. This generation can't really be judged because of that massive chip shortage both companies had to go through which halted production for a while
@@Walshy94nintendo arnt even playing the same sport. They are focusing on the niche the big players dont hit. Its like saying mobiles dominate the gaming market because they sell more.
@@PretentiousDmajority of console games are played on the switch, so yeah, I'd say they are playing the same sport as you say. Just because it's a handheld, doesn't mean it's not dominating the market
I have always been with Sony hands down. I’ve never seen a PS1 in person but I have owned a PS2 onwards. I don’t have that or a PS3 anymore but I definitely had good times on both of those consoles respectively. The PS3 Yellow Light Of Death was something I experienced wasn’t on my own console thankfully or even my family owned one at the time but that was also because it was on the first generation, bulky ones. The heavy PS2 lasted a long time before dying out but eventually I had a slim one further down the road which I didn’t have problems. My PS4 I received as a birthday present from my parents 5 years ago, still been going strong and has been very reliable for me. I have a Slim model so I haven’t had to worry about it being super loud or overheating like the regular models and the Pro have given people problems. In November 2022, I purchased the disc version PS5 and it has run so great for me, I’m so glad I finally got the opportunity to get one even if I paid much more money for it through Walmart than as opposed to the PlayStation website. However, I did make sure to get a 3 year protection plan (the $58 will be well worth it) and I have been making sure I have gotten some accessories and will plan to get more overtime so my PS5 will be decked out as much as I desire it to.
Basically the same story here but with Xbox. My Xbox one from 2014 still works strong but I have a Series s for some of the x/s games recently released. I have used other peoples PlayStation 3's in the past and honestly, both consoles are good. It's just personal preference these days
It all comes down to the exclusives you like better, at one point Xbox had it but the tide seems to have turnned. I've been an Xbox fan for a long time but I've missed a few really cool games not having playstation abd the Xbox exclusives I like best hasn't made anything new in a really long time. Like Splinter Cell!...
by the way ps5 is the best. I got one for christmas and the selection of games, and so plus is amazing. the imersiveness of the new controller is impressive and amazing. it blows xbox straight out the water with the large 800 gig hard drive and the massive cooling system. it also allows games to run on 4k which is amazing and the contrast make the games look real. I would highly recommend getting the playstation 5. I guarantee that you will truly love the experience.
You have to factually confirm that how is it the best? It doesn't have a lot of games xbox has more controller i'll you that but the problem with drift and other things breaking also 4k 30 or dynamic resolution at 60 with medium ansd low o?
The new Xbox Series X has the same storage and quality 🤨. It has also been said that while Playstation consoles have the smoother gameplay, Xbox consoles have the better graphic displays. In the end it comes down to what console someone wants.
For me it really depends. If you want variety of games and revolutionary immersion i would like a ps but if you want to try soo many classic or sometimes new games without paying god knows how much for a pc or now even a ps5 I would choose the xbox series xs
IMO debating over which is better is just useless, all you’re going to do is piss someone off and then they try and diss the other companies console. If you like PlayStations fine good for you, but criticising the opposing console is just dumb.
I've always enjoyed Xbox's hardware and controllers more than PlayStation's. But as far as which console I prefer? All depends on the game and what I'm in the mood for.
i have been an xbox kid for about 9 years and my dad got a USED ps4 to get a game he really wanted and i tried it and it was sooooo much better! the loading times were insane and the download time was impeccable. i am now in love with playstation and i have a ps5 now which has been amazing
Xbox can suspend games for very long periods of time, meaning there is no wait, just click the game and you're in. I'd count that as good loading time.
Personally, I started off with Playstation. My dad has a PS2 that I played with for a couple years, I also had a neighbor with an Xbox 360, so I kinda played both. I later got a PS4, and I have yet to get a PS5. I've owned my PS4 for a little over 7 years, almost no issues with it. So for me, Playstation is the winner here, it's been with me throughout my entire childhood, and I have to thank it for all of the great memories.
Nowadays the consoles are essentially the same. The only difference really is the exclusive games which don’t comes out barely ahead imo… plus they have adaptive triggers which you shouldn’t necessarily get a ps5 just for that; it is a very nice feature.
I think they’re equivalent because PlayStation may have good quality but the Xbox includes a large variety of game. 900p vs 1080p? That’s not a big jump so I think that the console wars should perish for both consoles are extraordinary.
I have both Series S and PS5. Both of them are my first consoles as I was more of a pc gamer in the past. Now anyone can have their own perspective but for me personally, Microsoft seems to be making a definitive comeback for this generation maybe not in terms of sales but in terms of value. Xbox seems to be a better platform “for now”. It is cheaper to game on with lower entry point (Series S), quick resume works flawlessly, Gamepass has better first and third party game support when compared to PS Plus and has a bigger game library thanks to backward’s compatibility. Not to mention many old games have received FPS and Resolution boost for free. On the other hand, playstation has subjectively better and more immersive single player games that I want to play, controller is definitely next gen and UI is better. Whether you choose team blue or green, you cannot go wrong with either of them. It’s just the matter of taste. Xbox is cheaper to game on, while Playstation is doing what they do best “ focus on single player exclusives”. I am really gonna keep both the consoles for this generation, because as much as I love swinging around new york city with that “exaggerated swagger of a black teen”, Halo Infinite is the most fun FPS I have played in recent times.
i think ps plus right now it's as good as game pass, many good titles like God Of War, Marvel Spiderman, Horizon Zero Dawn, Detroit Become Human, Miles Morales, and the assassins creed collection makes it really good looking for the ps plus, and I think it's also cheaper.
@@just1ck251 What I think he meant was the value of the subscription. Ps plus has more games, sure but you pay insane money for them. Every single game you mentioned in your original comment you HAVE to pay extra to play them and even then they could be streamed only. Whereas game pass while having less games consistently pumps out games for no extra cost.
Both I think they are different and have their own approach to gaming it’s really up to the player to chose which approach they prefer out of the 2 in the current generation
If I had to choose which console is better I would actually recomend both of the consoles I mean both are great and it doesn’t matter if you have an xbox or a playstation
I honestly think that whatever the console is, it doesn't matter whether which one has higher quality, fps, frames or whatever, it's about making memories and having fun with the boys before it's to late
Yes both r good consoles,it depends what u like, from young age i liked Sony,i own a PS4pro,just i dont want to have to much consoles,i think u just have to have one console only,or it is Xbox or it is Playstation. 👍
My favorite is that 1979 Fender Antigua hanging on the wall..........unless it's a Mexi I purchased one 44 years ago and it is still in Excellent shape....................Old School , Play Station
@@natas12rm ps2 in 2023 most buy xbox bad from every thing what minecrosoft do xbox 360 ok xbox series x no change ps1 ok first console ps2 different ps3 ok good ps4 change so much ps5 ... best console ever
the answer to that question is... it depends. it depends what your friends have and what games you prefer. I prefer PlayStation because they have nice games, but I also like Xbox because all my friends have it and I can play with them
For most gamers Playstation is their first choice. I got the Psone when i was little, i had no memory cards, i had to play every game from start and either my mom would come up and touch the power adaptor and she turns it off saying it is overheated and about explode or i had severe power drops because of the place where i live in. Then i shifted to pc gaming mainly coz my family was poor and cant afford something purely for gaming, for them gaming was like products of west to destroy the youths of east, then i was rocking on nvidia g210 gpu pc for many years untill i was finally decided to get back on proper gaming. I initially thought of getting a new pc, but with all the crypto affairs gpu prices were on the moon, so getting a console was a proper choice then. I decided to buy ps again but im not convinced about the poor graphics it had, honestly i was more impressed with the xbox and forza series. I saved all my money and bought xbox one x, top of the line console back then. Rocked it for so long, and here we are with the new set of consoles. I made up my mind to get the ps5 coz, i like the shifting platforms to get a fresh feel. I honestly would have considered the series x if they designed it more pleasing like one x, eventhough ps5 is crappy looking but better than series refrigerator. Hopefully i will get back to xbox when they launch the mid gen upgrades with some cool looking design.
There is no side to choose, both current gen consoles are fantastic and owning both of them would provide a complete next gen gaming experience which would include Exclusives from SONY and XBOX.
While Xbox Live with the OG Xbox was huge, I think the biggest thing it did was add an internal harddrive. The PS2, GameCube, Dreamcast, all used memory cards for saving games.
both are awesome!!!, no need to argue just get both, if you don’t have the money for both get the one you like the most and save money to get the other later down the road, easy fight over and honestly is an old argument.
I own both consoles and love them both. Ps provides the exclusive and my series x is my main gaming console for most games including game pass which is such a good deal.
In June 1995 I bought a chipped PS1 off my little cousin for £200, purely because he told me I could get games for like 3 quid a pop off his mate including American and Japanese imports. It was the first and ONLY Sony console I ever owned.
As a first time Xbox person I really like the series S I'm a Nintendo person so having the series S as another option makes it great and I really like the games I just like to play them not care about graphics 5:23
I been having the Xbox series S for awhile now and let me tell you the games I like are on the ps5 so I sold the series S and I'm not a big fan of Xbox
me personally i would say that playstation has better exclusives, but xbox has better design, power, and multiplayer experiences. i do think console wars are dumb.
IMO, both aren’t perfect consoles and both have it’s own flaws. But end of the day having fun matters, Irrespective of what console we use. I really wish online multiplayer will be free for all games.
