I’ve been playing Pokémon since red and I’ve never seen a shiny. I haven’t really looked for them, but still I’ve never seen one in my own gaming experience.
Me getting a shiny oddish on my first pokemon playthrough:……. (Also i didn’t catch it because it was lets go pikachu and a cutscene happened before i could get it
I just got the Nintendo Switch and Pokémon for the first time yesterday. It was a huge upgrade from the last time I played Pokémon on the Nintendo DS. Being able to finally see where Pokémon is and having a quest marker so you don't get lost for hours is exactly what we old Pokémon players needed for years. The only change I would love to see in modern Pokémon games is for characters to be able to talk and not just have text across the screen. Characters need their voices.
I would assume that if this happens, it might be time to go to talk with Baggin and buy more Inventory space. The downside is that every time you buy a new slot, Baggin doubles the prices, but you may have already heard about this one or at least seen some memes.
The thing is pokemon legends arceus has so much more to do other than scarlet and violet. I like all the tasks and stuff that you have even after you complete the game there’s more to do than just hunt for pokemon
Imagine call of duty but instead of guns you're aiming pokeballs at pokemon to catch them. You use stuff you find to craft more balls or other items. It honestly feels like what Pokemon should have always been. One thing it needs more of is trainer battles. Maybe a battle tower or something
@@earthteamjordanZisu refers or hints at the end of the game that he will establish some kind of battle facility, which is why many expected that the DLC would have brought some kind of Battle Dojo and add more trainer battles to the post game. But this excepted DLC never came, instead only the Daybreak update and Gen9. And I don't even know for sure if there was any scrapped DLC or if it was just wishful thinking. But something like that could have been added at the end of the game and maybe open new open areas like Eterna Forest for example. It would have been great. In any case, the fact that you have to be careful because wild Pokemon can attack the player and you have to dodge attacks as a human is one of the best new mechanics of the game, which makes it more natural in a way. Pokemon also behave personally and according to their natures, for example timid is timid, naive is naive, sassy is sassy and etc. In addition, it should be mentioned that Pokemons do not evolve automatically, but you can decide when it happens, which in a way also makes it easier for the player to complete various tasks to fill and complete the Pokedex as if you were doing real research. It doesn't completely replace the small number of trainer battles, but it is a good general description of what happens in the game without major plot spoilers.
I mean this would be the best option, if u like traditional pokemon games then buy sword and shield, if u want a good storyline and competitive then buy scarlet and violet
Bro don't tell about your opinion ok, and you are telling that the graphics sus huh? Go and play your scarlet and violet, don't make useless content...
I played it for the first time this year. It brought back that childhood wonder, passion and excitement for Pokemon that I lost growing up. I would have given *ANYTHING* to feel that again… Legends Arceus gave me that feeling.
Valid pokemon fan take except personally i still think ss and hg are the best just because so much to explore and theyre the only remake thats actually perfection
For me, this game's biggest issue is that it stops innovating 3 hours in. Once the novelty wears off and you look at the actual design and content of the game, it ranges from mediocre to shockingly awful at times. Every Pokemon behavior, for example, is nearly identical and can be sorted into 2 categories 99% of the time - they either run away or fight. Almost no Pokemon forces you to approach it in ways you didn't do with the other Pokemon. There's no cool behaviors like fire Pokemon setting grass on fire or flying Pokemon creating gusts that slow your movement speed or anything of that nature. Furthermore, every map in this game has as much complexity as the Obsidian Fieldlands - the tutorial map. The Crimson Mirelands is the only map with an interesting gimmick. I'd count Prelude Beach, but the catching while swimming feels so awful and clunky that I don't want to. Otherwise, every map is identical and does absolutely nothing to put some desperately needed variety into the catching mechanics that become still after a few hours. Not trying to sound disrespectful, but everyone praises this game for being innovative, but it does almost nothing to expand on its brand new concepts, leading to an extremely repetitive gameplay loop where you do the exact same thing in the exact same way over, and over, and over. By the time I got halfway through, I was so sick of playing it and so confused at how unanimous the praise for it was.
Nah you aren’t being disrespectful at all, you’re spitting truth and are completely right. The game has a huge amount of issues but I think I love it so much because it just brings things into the franchise that I have always craved, and that makes me so excited. I think while I wrote the script for this video as a comparison to other Pokemon games and not the gaming industry as a whole.
Only sucky part is the crazy amount of talking the people do so far and it’s not truely open world and create your own path I think the graphics are fine for what it is and i think everything else is basically what we always wanted I haven’t been playing any games since Nintendo ds first release so take my opinion for what it is But was missing Pokemon and wanted to get the kids into it
For me what I really really miss about the old Pokémon games, is if trying to train one Pokémon, that Pokémon gets the exp, I hate the exp sharing between parties in new Pokémon games
My biggest issues are definitely eye sore from the 90% world being empty with pokemon scattered throughout the game. I enoy the game nonetheless but its very boring during exploring and stuff. wished its filled more with events and stuff like how zelda is. Rather than massive outbreaks only being the event
It's missing the structure present in all other mainline Pokemon games from the gyms and Elite Four/Pokemon League. Since there's not a competitive aspect, which has been there since the very first games, that may be one of the fundamental elements you feel are missing. Also the fact that Pokemon Legends: Arceus like practically all other games has a story but all the stories are so basic that you don't feel anything when playing through them.
The shooter mechanic was over used so much that I didn't want to play after getting sneasle and it had many other problems like not being able to go into menus run or dodge properly very useless crafting for the most part and just overall repetitive its only one maybe 2 steps in the right direction
The switch may be a toaster but most pokemon games look like they came from the wii. Look at Monster Hunter rise or Zelda TOTK and you can see the consoles true potential.
I don't care what anyone says. This is the worst Pokemon game ever made in my opinion. They could have just done a simple Mystery Gift event for Arceus. They could have made a game with the roots XD: Gale of Darkness or Colusseum. But no, they had to go Monster Hunter and Zelda's road.
Embarrassing when Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii looks better than Arceus, the world has more life in it. Beautiful backgrounds, huge areas with alot of life in it and voice acting. And we don't need to talk about the Remastered. 😅 Yeah it is no Monster Catcher, but I just wanted to say how impressive the first Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii is in compare to all the 3D crap Gamefreak made 😶 And nice video 👍
Ive been boycotting the games since they took out megas, z moves and national Dex but as a major kalos fan, after I saw Pokemon z, I had to get arceus to try out. Arceus was the only game that interested me but I was still iffy since the previous games weren't great. So far, I'm enjoying it. It's not the best but the new catching mechanics and how Pokemon actually roam the world and attack you, is really great. The art style is pretty nice, reminds me of sun and moon. I hope the next game actually gets better. They gotta add voice acting. Even minimal voice acting like how the Zelda games do it. Voice lines in cutscenes and small grunts in game. The cutscenes in this game are so awkward without them. Even Lego games have full voice acting. Cmon man.
Never played any of the Pokemon games. I was not a fan of the gameplay and style however Arceus is actually fun and to me it’s like BOTW but in Pokémon world so it is definitely the game for me.
So pla was going to be way better but it got scrapped and hisui would be a bit bigger so the original plot was where you would go to the future again or the future having a bigger plot where you do objectives in the future then get sent back because there is the players room in dp in the files
I’ve actually been playing palworld. I’m level 35 and I think it’s awesome so far, probably a better game than legends arceus, but I still like legends arceus more. I’m planning to make a video about Palworld though
I havent played any pokemon games besides pokemon go. Now im thinking to buy this, but have received opinions to start w lets go eevee or pikachu. Which one you would recommend? Or is there coming a new pokemon game what should i wait?
You don't have to wait or start at any specific game. They all have their own standalone stories for the most part. I would highly recommend Pokemon Legends Arceus though. Regardless of if you play any of the other games Arceus is worth playing. I never played the let's go games but I've heard really good things.
@@WeekndWarriorrr Good to hear! Thanks for the answer. Was thinking about buying scarelt/violet also, cause i can get coinbags for the pogo, but maybe in the future, Arceus seems way more fun to play.
My most favorite pokemon game after Emerald and B/W 2. Shiny hunting in this game is a blast and never gets old for me. S/V is also pretty fun but I get bored after shiny hunting there for a while
good luck tryin to get arceus wit non hacks. each pokedex requires you to catch 15 of each, stealth caught or even require some type of tedious fetch quests tied to it.
