Is Posting Too Much Ruining Your Views on YouTube Shorts? 

RU-vid shorts are not treated the same by the algorithm as long form videos... it's too hard to figure out what works with RU-vid shorts.

Im posting 6 times a day and posting alot made me get where i am. So if anyone is thinking about posting alot then go for it. Just dont post alot at once, leave 1-2 hours between every post

There are no tricks or patterns to the algorithm, from experience I can totally confirm that it’s purely random. Just post and hope your video does well.

I don't know what you're talking about. My shorts (check them out) only get 500 to 1,500 views within 3 hours and then the views completely fizzle out. The algorithm doesn't keep feeding them every day to people. And I hardly get any views from search and when the ones that do come from search come mostly from totally unrelated search terms! It's weird.

I don't post shorts, but for standard videos I can confirm that posting more than once or twice per week will hurt the performance of previous uploads. The algorithm needs about 7 days to analyze a video to determine what type of audience to recommend it to. However, if you upload another video before the 7 days are complete then it interrupts the algorithm from analyzing the previous upload. This is just my experience

Shorts algorithm is hit or miss you don’t even need good content to get millions of views it’s all just luck unlike long form algorithm

I just started posting shorts and it's weird that sometimes a video get's a lot of views in start time and other doesn't

I am very thankful for this video coz I was just getting 200 views but after watching this video my view spiked up to 11k views and am sharing this with a friend coz they are the same mistake I was making

I post 3 shorts daily for the last month and a half. I would say from experience, when I post 5 or more he is correct that it seems to get me less views and not more.

I just started two days ago, I’ve been posting more than once daily on shorts. I’m going to continue until I figure what works best. They aren’t the same video and one person could like one & not a another. I hope we all succeed this year 👏🏽

Sooo my shorts views recently stoped getting any views basically these past 13 days. I used to get a 1k views like every video now I'm getting less then 10.. idk what's wrong someone please help me

He used to say a couple months ago that posting everyday was a must, and I already knew that this wasnt true by my experience. Give it a day or two, if your short goes way over your normal views, dont post another similar one, let it grow first

I’m so confused at this point 😢😢 we are told to niche down but then when we do it’s labeled as too repetitive… and then if we don’t niche down it’s too random. Trying to be a content creator on any platform right now is exhausting. I don’t think anyone actually knows what’s going on

Generally when I upload short video, YT algorithm promote it until 70-80 % swipe away. Then it freeze 😢

Hi Bro, I'm having some issues. If i upload a (Short) daily, I get 30-2k views on the majority of the videos. But If i upload my shorts with a 1 day difference, like 4 shorts a week, i get about 5k-10k views.

I noticed this myself when I posted a lot of short clips within several hours but I still really can’t get my head around it because some of my shorts get over 1/2k views and then some I post are getting nothing. I posted one today at peak time and it is still on 3 views, with a trending sound and relevant hashtags so it just seems very random at this point and I’m finding it hard to understand how to organically grow without having to do paid promotions which I can’t afford to do yet 🤨

I think RU-vid shorts are always updating so you need to be unique with editing and small things even if you are doing a trend. Sometimes my views go up but sometimes I kinda die out so I work on grinding long form then.

I had noticed that some of my shorts only get 3 to 25 views , I change my titles and a day or two later it goes to over 1,500 to 2,500 but then it dead stops

Nah, i just get a most of my views in 2-3 hrs after posting the short, and then the video gets no views whatsoever 😔

something happened to my shorts. basically, I was making the same content on yt shorts and they lasted 30 secs or so. those shorts got 1k+ views, a few weeks later the shorts were still 30 secs long yet the view count got lower and lower until no one watched them no more. what happened?

Yea more than one video in a day is you competing against yourself and others. But yea the algorithm is weird at times

yoo you might of solved something, I started with shorts 2 months ago and my account was growing rapid, i started posing long videos and 4 post a day with both and i noticed my views went down dramatically, Thinking about posting long videos a day and when i hit my mark, start back using shorts

I had good momentum on a couple of my videos and shorts and all of them were they stopped doing impressions at once. Don’t know why.

That especially sucks for me because I've been spitting the past 72 hours basically doing nothing but grinding content, one video is a reasonable amount of work to be metaphorically throwing in the garbage
