I was happy to see a review of QA'a biz class on the 787. I have flown in QSuites, but not other types of biz. Until recently, it was easy to use AA miles for biz class redemptions on QA at great redemption rates, and from several different USA cities. Unfortunately, AA recently started flying their own planes from JFK to DOH, and now it seems like QA biz awards are virtually non-existent (still plenty of QA awards in cattle class). Several months ago, I used 75,000 AA miles to book an August 2022 flight to Africa for a friend. The longest leg (ORD-DOH) is in QSuites, and DOH-EBB is on the QA 787. Having booked it so far out, we have received several notices that "there has been a change to your itinerary," but these are usually just 2-3 minute changes in flight times. I keep waiting for the email telling us that AA has changed the itinerary to switch to a JFK-DOH flight on AA metal instead of QA. That would be a big let down, and I am not sure how it would affect eligibility to visit the Biz lounge in Doha. I think we would still have access, but QA has made several attempts to restrict access in recent years. With a 5-hour layover, lounge access is crucial...and the Al Mourjan lounge is awesome!
Yaass! love that you did a flight review....you know me, give me anything plane and airport related, im there! I did experience the Qsuite which was nice but I am far too biased for Emirates being the best carrier in the middle east, especially their service where they continuously go above and beyond.
Oh yeah for sure, Emirates is OUR airline lol But… in the past few months with all the silly political tension between Emirates and Nigeria, I’m upset with them 🤣
Thanks for the review. I'm flying business class in a few days, and this is very informative for me. FYI...they spray in SE Asia flights too, sobits not justan Africa thing. Also good to know that if you pay to upgrade your flight, you might not be allowed entry to the Business Class lounge in Doha = not cool QA!😕
The first airline that I got upgraded from Boston to Doha on from economy to Business I love ❤️ Traveling with Qatar 🇶🇦 airways especially I like the crew.
I flew Qatar Airways business class quite a few times. Here is my take: 1. It is worth it if your flight time is more than 5 hours 2. I personally always felt that their economy food is tastier than business class food
They spray the plane in New Zealand, Tahiti and Australia too, I just think some places take bio security ore seriously than others and Africa has lot of exotic animal and I suppose bugs, I''m AA and I feel yah but don't take it to heart
Reason they spray is the bad ass mess 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I remember one time coming from South Africa the kain mess wey I drop they used like 3 canister of spray cuz our flight was delayed and they gave us 100 rand and we must finish the money on food or beverages i kuku ma finish it on food burger and the rest 😂😂😂 the people behind me had to move to another seat cuz they plane wasn’t full I no kuku send cuz there was nothing I cud do to hold it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 when I alighted and got out one of them saw me at the car park and shouted “boda toh fiso pawa niyen 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
