Unbelievable that they keep doing balance changes either right before or even during cwl. It's the hero equipment and abilities that are OP, but since that's where SC makes money they keep messing with everything but that.
Again, I just don't understand how they can be this clueless. This should have been an easy fix without needing three pointless nerfs. RRs are not a 20 space troop, plain and simple. Revert them back to the damage/health they had after the first nerf and make them 30 troop space each. This would have a minimal impact on the people who use army's with just a few RRs as support (as they clearly were intended to be), but would make it nearly impossible for people to use a bunch of them in a spam style attack.
This just proves valks are actually broken but it's just they always have the problem called walls, remove walls from the equation and valks will be the troop to get nerfed
i wonder then how possible it would be to truly use valks as intended (mass valks?) instead of behind root riders. Since the new level of the valk, ive had the thought in the back of my mind that it could be cool to support a lot of valks throughout the base as the main strategy of the attack but seems like RR are the only thing that can truly enable them
They don’t want to buff certain defenses but want to nerf troops and nerf defenses… so what’s the point of getting to the max townhall th15 still can wipe a 16. Th14 can get high percentage. If not a wipe. Back then in 2012 I could not even contemplate going for a th10 base at th8
@@shacklynized Yeah the thing is even if it seems strong any other army if you keep using the overgrowth in the core even if it’s the only thing left everything will get roasted because everything else has either less hp than root riders or can’t break the walls so the overgrowth spell is a situational spell, I wouldn’t say it’s broken
How crazy is that, 3rd nerf an my deff is still -320 because of rootrider spam… think I‘m gonna stop playing this game, i can‘t see the same troop every day
Better way to phrase that would be to say that if they have enough HP to open up walls then they are broken. Decrease their HP, half of the base remains closed in by walls and rr aren’t broken anymore
Super cell hates when everyone uses something ... I am switching from RRs... they will jist keep nerfimg ... until pros are happy and no one uses them anymore... that what's this is about. 'it's for balance' is hog wash... if they were worried about balance heros would be adressed
I agree they needed a nerf. One troop shouldn't be good at absolutely everything. You have a wall breaking, tank that does good damage, moves at a good speed, and a lot of traps can't do much to them. There had to be something that made them questionable to bring
Its crazy how they decided to nerf rr AGAIN but also decided to nerf some key defenses so then was the point in nerfing the rrs🤦♂️... Its very funny to me which we will see them dominate still cant really see them not being use until maybe deleted lol. Like them tho
Is not the damage mister, they are broken because they can break walls. Thats it. You can do the same hit with hogs and is a riskier because hogs can be pulled out with spring traps...but the fact that RR can target defenses without any problem with traps or walls is the problem, the thing is that base designs dont affect RR, you can try the same with Valks wnd they would follow walls path, same with Bowlers, Walls can't protect defenses from RR,
The old army comp of just RR with the QC doesn’t work though, opening the walls is only good if the RR has other units behind it doing damage now. Yes I’m aware why RR is Op haha.

And i agree that everything else is broken, but sadly is RR who opens walls to everything lol. there is a bigger chance to fail with loons or hogs despite the broken meta....i think that for Casual players, they just need to add some risk to RR, like the spring traps, or as some creator said, make the RR hit the wall twice before opening it. As long as they keep mining our pockets with the minerals, they wont fix the real "issue" of this TH. Nerf RR all you want, they will come up with a new spam way to abuse the hero equipment. Deal with it

The mechanic of breaking walls is maybe too op but i like the idea. They are like a giant+wall breaker(supergiant but so much better: if i could, i would change the mechanic of the supergiant, their mechanic is useless). Their usage (RR) should be in my opinion a "support" troop(a wall breaking troop)" for ground armies but also a viable option if you want to attack spam with them(with a bit of skill, not just deploying them like they have been being used) like yetis for example, the can be used as a spam troop or as a funnel troop (support). The problem is now heroes because we see lots of 3stars with dragons too. RR are ok now(maybe less health could be great), but heroes aren't.
Not even close, because Dragons die faster and have way less hp, dragons can br attacked with single it, monolith and scatters like RR, but also air defenses and air mines.... RR have more hp and the traps they need to face can't hurt them. RR are broken because all of that and open walls to the heroes, dragons don't do that I agree that heroes are broken but RR is still more broken that's why people use them successfully
@@KaiserM3 Yeah, i can agree with that, maybe the should have like 5000 Hp or 4500 to balance their broken mechanic and 100 dps, it would change a lot the concept of the troop, so it would be interesting to bring 1,2 or 3 and not 6 or 7.
@@yoshidepapel or as I read from someone else's makes them hit the wall at least 2 times to open the wall, or just allow them to break like 3 walls? That would mean people would have to break the first line with some wallbreakers or makes them a 28 space camp troop. The thing is, there is not much risk in RR.
@@KaiserM3 There are lots of possibilities, personally, i prefer to let the wall breaking mechanic untouched and just nerf a lot the hitpoints and dps to make the troop more "strategic"(not at all)
