+Practical Islam "And it is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days - and His Throne had been upon water - that He might test you as to which of you is best in deed. But if you say, "Indeed, you are resurrected after death," those who disbelieve will surely say, "This is not but obvious magic." Are you talking about this "miracle" which basically is a nonsensical Biblical parable in the Koran? Doesn't sound very " Allahu Akbar" to me ! Try harder.

+Suhaib Zafar You can read and i guess you can also write(unless the comment was written by someone else) but you cannot do what Muhammad (SAW) did like in the video and yet you ask for a harder miracle? I'll give them to you and please if they don't look like miracles or they look copies from the Bible just let me know How and Why Ok? Bismillah: a. Chapter 21verse 30. How cannot the unbelievers see? That the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and we separated them ? verse 32 and yet they turn away from the signs!(Who is he talking to if not to people like you with the knowledge of the Big Bang? or maybe he is talking to the Bedouin of 1438 years ago?(Is this verse nonsensical parable from the bible? if yes, please bring a counter argument) and it states also in another verse "we are expanding it: What the Scientists say the universe is doing?" b. Quran Chapter 41 verse 11 -> Then he directed himself to heaven when it was SMOKE(what was there after big bang?? water?? When did science know that there was SMOKE? (Is this verse nonsensical parable from the bible? if yes, please bring a counter argument) ) c. and he made from water every living thing? (same chapter as the previous one. ( Where did science say life has come from? stones??When did science know that life has come from water? (Is this verse nonsensical parable from the bible? if yes, please bring a counter argument)) d. Chapter 24 verse 45 And Allah has created every animal from water....(same as the previous one but i took it from another verse just to show you that Allah insists in us thinking about this "nonsensical parable from the bible". (Is it? if yes please bring you're counter argument). e. He released a salty sea and a sweet , meeting without mixing.... Chapter Ar Rahmaan. Besides all the science people are bring out with the salinity of the sea and his density and even the with light, the verse came 1400 years ago. People like it or not it said it in the pictures/videos you can see TWO seas with different color not mixing. (however to see with you're own eyes search this on Google. and yet Is this verse nonsensical parable from the bible? if yes, please bring a counter argument.) f. We all sin and in Islam it's the mind(the brain- the head whatever you want to call it) that makes you sin. Allah says Chapter 11 vs 56 There is no creature but he holds its forelock" and again in Chapter 96 verse 16 "We will drag him by the forelock, a lying sinful forelock". (What is the meaning of dragging someone by the forelock? and why is it that every animal holds in its forelock? What are the main functions of the brain?? they think and brig people to sin + No body lives without a brain)Is this verse nonsensical parable from the bible? if yes, please bring a counter argument. P.S: Where did you read that the earth was created in six days? Look well the verses and see if they specified the number 6[careful when read i don't want you to post shameful things]. And by the way the resurrected after death is given in Islam a way more beautiful and completely reasonable: Chapter 2 verse 28: How can you not believe in Allah? Before you were not existent(dead) now you exist, Then you will die and you will be brought alive again. In Islam death was created before life and indeed Before you're date of birth or before the big bang-> 1.you didn't exist. 2.Now you exist 3. Not existence again 4. You exist again simple enough for you're big brain?

Suhaib Zafar I really hate it when people are trying disprove miracle of the Qur'an using science, like in this case,but in reality science can't be taken as ultimate truth because ot differ from today to tomorrow,but if you show the people like you something like this Your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then settled Himself firmly on the Throne... (Qur'an, 7:54) One example of the harmony between the Qur'an and modern science is the subject of the age of the universe. Cosmologists estimate the age of the universe as 16-17 billion years. The Qur'an states that the entire universe was created in six days. These two time frames, which may seem contradictory, are actually surprisingly compatible. In fact, both these figures concerning the age of the universe are correct. In other words, the universe was created in six days, as revealed in the Qur'an, and this period corresponds to 16-17 billion years in the way that we experience time. In 1915 Einstein proposed that time was relative, that the passage of time altered according to space, the speed of the person travelling and the force of gravity at that moment. Bearing in mind these differences in the passage of time, the period of time in which the universe was created as revealed in seven different verses of the Qur'an is actually highly compatible with scientists' estimations. The six-day period revealed in the Qur'an can be thought of as six periods. Because, taking into account the relativity of time, a "day" refers only to a 24-hour period experienced on Earth under current conditions. Elsewhere in the universe, however, at another time and under other conditions, a "day" could refer to a much longer period of time. Indeed, the word "ayyamin" in the period of six days (sittati ayyamin) in these verses (Qur'an 32:4, 10:3, 11:7, 25:59, 57:4, 50:38, and 7:54) means not only "days," but also "age, period, moment, term." In the first period of the universe, the passage of time took place much faster than that with which we are familiar today. The reason for this is that, at the moment of the Big Bang, our universe was compressed into a very small point. The expansion of the universe and increase in its volume ever since the moment of that explosion has extended the borders of the universe to millions of light years. Indeed, the stretching of space ever since that moment has had very important ramifications for universal time. The energy at the moment of the Big Bang slowed down the flow of time 1012 (one million million) times. When the universe was created the speed of universal time was higher up to a million million times, as time is experienced today. In other words, a million million minutes on Earth is the equivalent of just one minute in universal time. When a six-day period of time is calculated according to the relativity of time, it equates to six million million (six trillion) days. That is because universal time flows a million million times faster than time on Earth. Calculated in terms of years, 6 trillion days equates to approximately 16.427 billion years. This is within the estimated range for the age of the universe. 6,000,000,000,000 days/365.25 = 16.427104723 billion years Allah, there is no god but Him, the Living, the Self-Sustaining. He is not subject to drowsiness or sleep. Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them but they cannot grasp any of His knowledge save what He wills. His Footstool encompasses the heavens and the earth and their preservation does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Magnificent. (Qur’an, 2:255) On the other hand, each of the six days of creation equates to very different periods, as we perceive time. The reason for this is that the speed of the passage of time declines in proportion to the expansion of the universe. Ever since the Big Bang, as the size of the universe doubled, so the passage of time halved. As the universe grew, the speed at which the universe doubled increasingly slowed down. This rate of expansion is a scientific fact acknowledged the world over and described in the text book The Fundamentals of Physical Cosmology. When we calculate every day of creation in terms of Earth time, the following situation emerges: Looked at from the moment when time began, the first day of creation (first phase) lasted 24 hours. This period, however, is the equivalent of 8 billion years in Earth terms. The second day of creation (second phase) lasted 24 hours. This, however, lasted half as long, in our terms, as the preceding day, in other words 4 billion years. The third day (third phase) lasted half as long as the second day, in other words 2 billion years. The fourth day (fourth phase) lasted 1 billion years. The fifth day (fifth phase) lasted 500 million years. And the sixth day (sixth phase) lasted 250 million years. Conclusion: When the six days of creation, in other words the six phases, are added together in Earth terms, the resulting figure is 15 billion 750 million years. This figure displays an enormous parallel with modern-day estimations. This conclusion is one of the facts revealed by 21st century science. Science has once again confirmed a fact revealed in the Qur'an 1,400 years ago. This harmony between the Qur'an and science is one of the miraculous proofs that the Qur'an is the revelation of Allah, the Creator, the Omniscient. They are left without arguments,and now people like you can only resort to lies!

It astounds me whenever someone tries to debate the facts. Will you argue about this with Muhammad PBUH? I wont. He knows better or us? As I use the word engine or as I as my imam the same finding you found. I do not come up with the same numbers. I need an explanation from someone, please. For example Life, I get around 78 and death 56. I look up this and it seems this video has word counts that I can not back up. Please help me if you have a source. that's coincidence. the rakat numbers are not from original islam, we no evidence that one salat was anymore than 2 rakaat. we dont even have hadith evidence on rakat, not very strong evidence anyway. the persians changed and added many things

Br Nouman has delivered, its up to their peanut brain now. if they turn away, God says "look at how He guides some and deviates the others" because all we can see there's no response worthy of reply. its like they are behaving just like disbelievers in the time of the prophet " And when Our verses are recited to them, they say, "We have heard. I do not know whether you are among those who know that Islam is the truth and nevertheless keep spreading hate and a disbelief-morality or whether you are among those who yet haven't researched enough. Well ur just in luck cuz Surah Al-Baqara 2:164 says Surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation (Or: differences) of the night and the day-time, and the ships that run in the sea with whatever profits mankind, and whatever water Allah sends down from the heaven - so therewith He gives life to the earth after its death and disseminates therein all kinds of beast - and the (constant) turning about of the winds, and the clouds subjected between the heaven and the earth, (these) are indeed signs for people who consider hope that answers the question

If i am not wrong In Quran the world Land has been used for 13 times and Sea/River/water source has been used for 32 times....now if you add these two numbers it becomes 45.....now lets do the ratio analysis!!!! Sea= 32/45=0.71= 71% Land= 13/45=0.29=29% according scientific analysis the entire world is covered by 71% of sea and 29% of land.....coincident.....sure. 😊

Even if dhul qarnayn had THOUGHT he saw the sun going down in to murky water, allah should have known better and corrected it, but he didnt. This is proof that the quran is NOT the word of God, it was made up by man. ;)

The Last Crusader If you actually took the time to seriously look at the verses instead of just doing a quick search, you would find that some of the verses found contain the plural or dual forms of the word shahr (month) which are ash-hur and shahrayn, respectively, while some verses have the singular month (shahr) twice. In fact, if you count the word shahr, it indeed only occurs exactly 12 times (I actually did the work and counted them).

And we're supposed to be impressed, not by the actual meaning or message (which is largely mediocre and unimpressive stuff that has never successfully inspired people to much meaningful greatness), but more by little tricks here and there? And no, managing to kill people and take their stuff is not a sign of greatness. Power and crushing people with it, does not mean that you were in the right (although the subjugated will often learn to think so of their conquerors, to survive)

I mean if for example I say EARTH in arabic in how many times ? it does not match as told here( reference see corpus quran) I want to know how do get such number...give with example as if it is 115 times , good , then say in each sura how many times ,,,that the final summation is exactly as u say.thanks ... it is an open approach. as I personally failed to find such numbers.

Gulabsingh Singh back in those days they used the lunar years however (to the best of my knowledge) Allah knew that when this miracle would be discovered people would be using the solar years-365 days so it was more appropriate. Wallah-hi-alam

There are different ways a person can see this. If we consider that people used lunar calender at that time it's more amazing that number of days were given for solar which was not common and only now we are familiar with it. So how a person can keep track of the number of days in year in a book revealed in 23 years when there was no computers or register keeping details of these kinds of data. People question that is it only these kind of counting records that prove Quran is from Allah. No there are signs upon signs in different forms for the one who has open mind and is ready to see unbiased the evidence presented before him or her.

I have to admit that i paste some of this from others bcz I don't really confidence with my english nor my capability. I just try to ask your question. Yes, it's about lunar and solar. We follow lunar which has 355 days because the weather keep on revolving the islamic months. Each times Ramadhan comes in a different weather because several days are reduced. So muslim will not fast only in summer everytime. Fast is difficult in summer whereas easier in winter. Hajj month also comes in different weather. Allah gives us difficulties and happiness to give us chance to learn and to thanks him. Wallahu a'lam

*HOW ALLAH MENTIONS "DAY(S)" IN THE QUR'AN:* 365 times it's the singular YAUM (day) 27 times it's the plural AYYAM (days) 3 times it's the dual form YAUMAIN (two-days) 70 times it's the special form YAUMAIZIN (meaning "on-that-day") 10 times remain for the two words YAUMAHUM and YAUMAKUM, which mean their-day and your-day, each appearing 5 times. And in case you're wondering ... if we take plural and dual forms together, we get 30, which is exactly the days of a month. This is a total of 475. Getting back to that later ... The way people try to "undo" the 365 is through saying that it's not 365 times ONLY "yaum". Well, yes, but this doesn't change that these remaining forms count 365 times when you exclude PLURALS and SPECIAL FORMS as above. The remaining forms are all (AL-)YAUM forms. The WORD is always the SAME WORD, even if it's functioning in different ways. Plus there are two more things about these numbers that are quite interesting: As mentioned before the plural (=plural of 3+) occurs 27 times and the dual (=plural of 2), which not only shows how long a lunar month can go (i.e. 27+3= 30 days), ... ... but what is even more shocking is the fact that the lunar rotation of the moon around its own axis goes exactly 27,3 days. Google it! Do you see the 27 and 3 together? Then, the question remains, why all forms of YAUM & so on (day/s etc.) occur 475 times in total. Interestingly if we remove the 365 times just (al-)YAUM was mentioned, it leaves us with 110. I know that 110 and 11 are not the same, but I couldn't have made the following statement if it were 113 or 118 or whatever. So it's valid to say that 110 show the number 11, or 11.0 ... If we now subtract 11 from 365 we get exactly 354, which is the lunar year. So, every category does make perfect sense: 365x (al-)YAUM 30x plural & dual together (27+3) 70x special word yaumaizin 10x suffix-forms (5+5, symmetrical btw!) And then 30+70+10=110 --> 11 --> calculating 365-11=354 --> lunar year AND solar year calendar included.

[ Sahih Al-Bukhari ] 5) Waiting for Prayer Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.S) asked : "Shall I not tell you of something by means of which Allah erases sins and raises you in status?". They said :"Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He (saws) said : "Doing wudoo' well even when it is difficult, taking many steps to the mosques and waiting for praying after prayer. That is (equivalent) to guarding the frontier." [ Muslim ] 6) Doing good deeds Do more good deeds because Allah said :" Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (small sins)." [ Quran : 11 verse 114 ] 7) Performing Umrah and Hajj The Prophet (saws) said :"Whoever performs Hajj for Allah's pleasure and does not have sexual relations with his wife, and does not do evil or sins then he will return (after Hajj free from all sins) as if he were born anew." [ Sahih Al-Bukhari ] "The performance of Umra is an expiation for the sins committed (between it and the previous one). And the reward of Hajj Mabrur (the one accepted by Allah) is nothing except Paradise." [ Sahih Al-Bukhari ] 8) Saying 'Ameen' after the Imam The Prophet (saws) said :"When the Imam says 'Ameen', you should all say 'Ameen' at that time, and he whose 'Ameen' coincides with the 'Ameen' of the angels, all his past sins will be forgiven." [ Bukhari ] 9) Calling out Adhaan The Prophet (saws) said :"The muadhin (the one who call out the prayer) will receive forgiveness to the extent to which his voice reaches, and every moist and dry place will testify on his behalf; and he who attends (the congregation of) prayer will have 25 prayers recorded for him." [ Aby Dawud ] 10) Walking to the Prayer Place The Prophet (saws) said :"If he performs ablution completely and then goes to the mosque with the sole intention of perfoming the prayer, and nothing urges him to proceed to the mosque except the prayer, then on every step which he takes towards the mosque, he will be raised one degree or one of his sins will be forgiven. The angels will keep on asking Allah's forgiveness and blessings for everyone of you so long as he keeps sitting at his praying place. The angels will say, 'O Allah, bless him! O Allah, be merciful to him!' as long as he does not do a thing which gives trouble to others." [ Bukhari ] 11) Giving charity The Prophet (saws) said :"The charity erases the bad deed like the water puts out the fire." [ Tirmidhi ] 12) Asking forgiveness from others on wronging them The Prophet (saws) said :"Whoever has oppressed another persons concerning his reputation or anything else, he should beg him to forgive him before the Day of Ressurection when there will be no money (to compensate for wrong deeds), but if he has good deeds, those good deeds will taken from him according to his oppression which he has done, and if he has no good deeds, the sins of the oppressed person will be loaded on him." [ Bukhari ] 13) Reciting Salawaat (Blessings) on Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.S The Prophet (saws) said :"He who sends blessings on me once Allah sends blessings on him ten times and removes from him ten times and raises him by ten degrees." [ al-Nasa'i ] 14) Being kind to animals The Prophet (saws) said :"A prostitute was forgiven by Allah, because passing by a panting dog near a well and seeing that the dog was about to die of thirst, she took off her shoe, and tying it with head-cover she drew out some water for it. So Allah forgave her because of that." [ Sahih Al-Bukhari ] 15) Praising Allah after Eating Food The Prophet (saws) said :" He who has taken food and says at the end : Al-hamdu lillahi-lladhi at'amani hadha, wa razaqanihi min ghairi haulin minni wa la quwwatin (All praise is due to Allah Who has given me food to eat and provided it without any endeavor on my part or any power), all his past (minor) sins will be forgiven." [ At-Tirmidhi ] 16) Removing Obstacles from the Road or Way The Prophet (saws) said :" While a man was on the way, he found a thorny branch of tree on the way and removed it. Allah thanked him for that deed and forgave him (his sins)." [ Bukhari ] 17) Hide Other's faults and sins The Prophet (saws) said :" He who conceals (the faults) of a Muslim, Allah would conceal his faults in the world and in the Hereafter. Allah is at the back of a servant so long as the servant is at the back of his brother." [ Sahih Muslim ] He (saws) also said :" The believer will be brought close to his Lord until He conceals him and makes him confess hin sin. Allah will say, 'Do you remember such and such a sin?' The man will say, 'Yes, I admit it.' The Lord will say, 'I concealed it for you in the world and I forgave you for it today." [ Bukhari ] 18) Observing Patience during Hard Times The Prophet (saws) said :" Whenever a believer is stricken with a calamity (discomfort, illness, anxiety, grief or worry), even the pricking of a thorn, his sins are expiated for him." [ Bukhari, Muslim ] He (saws) also said :" When Allah loves someone He tests them, as for whoever is content Allah is pleased with him, and as for whoever is discontented, Allah is displeased with him." [Tirmidhi, classed as Hasan] 19) Making some dhikr The Prophet (saws) said :" Whoever says, 'Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi', 100 times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea." [ Sahih Al-Bukhari ] He (saws) said :" If anyone glorifies Allah after every prayer 33 times (SubhanAllah), and praises Allah 33 times (Alhamdulillah), and declares His Greatness 33 times ( Allah hu Akbar ), ninety-nine times in all, and to complete a hundred says : 'La ilaaha illal-lah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulk wa lahul-hamd wa huwa 'alaa kulli shai-in qadeer' his sins will be forgiven even if these are as abundant as the foam of the sea." [ Sahih Muslim ] He (saws) said :" If anyone says: Astaghfirullah-alladhi la ilaaha illa Huwal-Haiyyul-Qayyoumu, wa atoubi ilaihi ( I seek forgiveness of Allah besides Whom there is non worthy of worship, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, and I turn to Him in repentance ), his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield." In another narration, these words are to be repeated 3 times. [ Abu Dawud, At-Tirmidhi and Al-Hakim ] He (saws) said :" If anyone sits in an assembly where there is clamor and says before getting up to leave 'Subhanaka Allahumma wa bihamdika, ash-hadu Allah ilaaha illa-anta, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayka' (Glory to be to You, O Allah, I begin with declaring all praise is to You, I testify there is no god but You; I ask Your pardon & turn to You in repentance), he will be forgiven any sin (of the tongue) he might have committed in that assembly." [ Tirmidhi] 20) Saying 'Subhan-Allah' 100 times Sa'd bin Abu Waqqas ( May Allah be pleased with him ) reported : We were with the Messenger of Allah (SAWS) when he asked :"Is anyone of you unable to earn a thousand good deeds?" One of those present asked: "How can one earn thousand good deeds in a day?" He (SAWS) replied :"By saying :'SubhanAllah 100 times, then 1000 good deeds will be recorded for him or 1000 sins will be blotted out from his record." [ Muslim ] 21) The best duaa for seeking forgiveness is to say : "Allahuma Anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa Anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu, a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu, abu'u laka bini'matika 'alayya, wa abu'u laka bidhanbi faghfir li, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa Anta." (O Allah! You are my Lord. There is no god except You. You have created, I am Your slave, I hold to Your Covenant as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You have bestowed upon me and I confess my sins. Pardon me, for none but You has the power to pardon). He who supplicates in these terms during the day with firm belief in it and dies on the same day (before the evening), he will be one of the dwellers of Jannah; anf if anyone supplicates in these terms during the night with firm belief in it and dies before the morning, he will be one of he dwellers of Jannah." [ Al-Bukhari ] May Allah erase our sins and save us from the torment of Hell. Ameen

Whoa fascinating!!! Just focusing on word counts perspectives! out of many wonders of Quran. Without a doubt, personally this is fascinating , no argument in this matter! Math doesn't lie. My question to you is : Any other book written by humans came up with this precisions? For disbelivers you may come up with many excuses, suit yourselves, but how could you planned 22 years in telling Quran verse by verse at a time, for more than 22 fricken years mind you!! to let it simmer in his early followers mind and memorized it, and at the same time planting those numbers in unwritten Quran, how could that possibly be done by man without the help of computers, or any computing words device back then? It's More than 6000 verses!!! Where there was no written book to be edited !! Even if it was edited or whatever accusation y'all can come up with,this is still amazing, there's no way you can not stop my admiration to this book for word counts. No way!!

Lets take the 365 day example. The word day appears as different words in arabic. If you translate them all you actually get 475 occurrences. you get the convenient 365 when you selectively translate the various words for day and ignore other words for day. the same method is used for all the other coincidences in word count.

You make it sound like they've counted randomly. 365 times it's the singular YAUM (day) 27 times it's the plural AYYAM (days) 3 times it's the dual form YAUMAIN (two-days) 70 times it's the special form YAUMAIZIN (meaning "on-that-day") 10 times remain for the two words YAUMAHUM and YAUMAKUM, which mean their-day and your-day, each appearing 5 times. And in case you're wondering ... if we take plural and dual forms together, we get 30, which is exactly the days of a month. This is your 475. The way people try to "undo" the 365 is through saying that it's not 365 times ONLY "yaum". Well, yes, but this doesn't change that these remaining forms count 365 times when you exclude PLURALS and SPECIAL FORMS as above. The remaining forms are ALL (al-)YAUM forms. The WORD is always the SAME WORD, even if it's functioning in different ways. Plus there are two more things about these numbers that are quite interesting: As mentioned before the plural (=plural of 3+) occurs 27 times and the dual (=plural of 2), which not only shows how long a lunar month can go (i.e. 27+3= 30 days), ... ... but what is even more shocking is the fact that the lunar rotation of the moon around ots own axis goes exactly 27,3 days. Google it! Do you see the 27 and 3 together? Then, the question remains, why all forms of YAUM & so on (day/s etc.) occur 475 times. Interestingly if we remove the 365 times just (al-)YAUM was mentioned, it leaves us with 110. I know that 110 and 11 are not the same, but I couldn't have made the following statement if it were 113 or 118 or whatever. So it's valid to say that 110 show the number 11, or 11.0 ... If we now subtract 11 from 365 we get exactly 354, which is the lunar year. So, every category does make perfect sense: 365x (al-)YAUM 30x plural & dual together (27+3) 70x special word yaumaizin 10x suffix-forms (5+5, symmetrical btw!) And the 30+70+10=110 --> 11 --> calculating 365-11=354 --> lunar year AND solar year calendar included.
