Ranbir Kapoor is the best actor of this generation. He is my favourite since I watched his jagga jasoos in theatre when I was just 9 years old . In today's time when we have cinema from all over the world we as an audience know that the story matters a lot and in the old times like 90s-00s the story didnt mattered a lot and all it was neede for a film to get hit was a face the face of khans Earlier people went to see movies from the cast and not from the story thus that much of fame and stardom to achieve in todays world is very difficult the actor should have the best skills as well as the choices also matters.

People literally Misunderstood/Misjudged SRK's saying "I'm the LAST OF THE STARs" SRK said that when Anupam Kher asked him about the time when Someone would be much successful and Bigger Highlight than SRK And when I see this from where... World's almost every Forms of renowned Global Media Agencies like Forbes, CNN, BBC, Sky, Newsweek, London Live, Discovery TIME...... announced SRK as The Biggest Movie Star on the Planet with literally quoting " The World's Biggest Movie Star, Not Tom, Leo or Jennifer, Meet Shah Rukh Khan" It was a survey in 2006 (most probably BBC survey) that 3.2 billion know SRK but 2.8 billion know Tom Cruise. And it was 2006, at present it would've been crossed 4.5+ billion for srk.... I don't think Anyone can beat SRK, he would have better Talent/skills than SRK, much more successful Movies and career but being Bigger Highlight, having Bigger Fandom, Recognition and Popularity than SRK is something Next to Impossible When he said, he is "The Last of The Stars" He knew what he was saying And what to say about Ranbir when he is already a Superstar (and in my POV, he has better Acting Skills and Range than SRK)

I accept the fact that many current actors are better in acting than srk , but the current generation doesn't worship any actor like a star , now a days if ranbir kartik or any actor do some controversy people just change their mindset very fast for example in case of deepika padukone. But in case of dilip kumar, big b , and SRK they had many controversies but still their charm is unmatchable. ranbir kapoor is a very good actor. but for me SRK is the last of stars. like most of the indians we too grow up watching srk movies. i can stil watch his movie no matter how old they are, he is magical and i don't find that magic in this generation of stars.

The thing that I really like about Ranbir is that he stays lowkey...no matter how much people shame him for his personal life...he never tries to act like a saint and never tries to defend himself...even in the interviews he has accepted that he is a flawed human and made mistakes in the past. Instead of focusing on petty things...he works on his craft and manages to amaze us with his screen presence everytime. He is not on social media or whatsoever but people are still spellbound by his charm. Idk about other people...but he is a star for me...a SUPER DUPER star.

I guess people are normalizing the word Superstar. Superstar means difference between 10 vs 50 score... not 10 vs. 15 If you are asked whos the superstar of 70s.... Youll say Amitabh bachan.... But at the same time darmendra, shatrugan were existing... In this way whos the superstar of Bollywood in modern days.... Its Shahrukh... But... Star Amir khan also does exist in this industry... So making some good film may not make ranbir as superstar, rather he needs to make huge distance from other stars in a way that no other star can touch it

I don’t think we should throw around the tag “ the next superstar “ so lightly … it almost destroyed Ranbirs Career and it DID destroy Abhisheikhs , not that he was a star anyway but the pressure it has on people is incredibly overwhelming, I like using the term “ next 400 crore actor “ more As the 3 khans are all 300 crore actors , and as/if Cinema Keeps expanding we will reach a point where the top 3 actors are able too break the 400 crore mark once every 2 years or so like the 3 khans are currently ( give or take ik there are fluctuations) Thus the actors who may have that audience luring capability from the current around - 40 and under generation are , Ranbir Kapoor Ranveer Singh Kartik Aaryan And potentially Vicky Kaushal ? Which coincidentally also happens too be the same list that Ranbir views as his competitors right now and in the years too come , ( I didn’t copy the list , I already had those 4 in mind and it makes sense if you think about the new generation objectively without favoritism , which some cannot ) Even though I like Sid, Tiger and Varun they don’t seem like long race horses too me And if I had too bet one for one who will “ replace “ who ( again , I don’t use that lightly ) it would be : Ranveer replaces SRK ( I am prepared too face the hate, IK SRK can never be replaced , this is just who fits the other better, Ranveer also supposedly has DON franchise in his kitty ) Kartik replaces Salman ( has proven BO performance , salmans friends like Kartik a lot , including Sajid N , Kabir K , Sunil S etc , and Sooraj stated Kartik has the Prem franchise in his kitty now ) Ranbir will replace Aamir ( Ranbir experiments more with his films just like Aamir , Ranbir is the best actor out of the “ new gen “ just like Aamir is , his movies seemingly will come sparsely similarly too Aamir , he seemingly has the PK franchise if he needs and has the best BO performance out of the 3 just like Aamir ) I know I will cop a lot of hate , this is not a perfect puzzle fitting session , it’s just a fun conversation too have and that’s my argument for why I think the way I do Edit : , I think the biggest rivalry in the coming years and for years too come will be between Ranbir K and Kartik A for the throne , unlike the popular Ranbir and Ranveer trope we have today .
