Amy Lee, also known as Coach for RecRoom, is a remarkable individual whom I recently met at a VR convention. I thoroughly enjoyed conversing with her. Unfortunately, there are many behind-the-scenes aspects in the voice acting industry. My speculation is that she may no longer be contracted by RecRoom. I cannot disclose much more, but she is involved in the development of another game, which is exciting. I look forward to seeing how things unfold for her.
It lowkey disappoints me that they are straying away from the whole college campus vibe. With no quests, the "Theatre Department" is being abandoned, the Rec Centre being filled with outrageous maker pen creations making it feel outlandish, and with the view of them kinda pushing Coach to the side? It's become just another MMO with player base created maps. The games lost its personality. It's inevitable for change but I'd expect growth not erasure. Good vid lad
Same, though at first my thought when trying to get my watch to open for the first time made me think its was some spy game, (this was before orientation for me.).
Me personally, i really like the 2017 Rec Center, it just looks so like an actual recreational centre compared to the new one, i also enjoy the school campus vibe, but i think the campus vibe is lost mostly due to fat marketing all around the place, i get innovation and all that. but i do kinda miss old rec room, just my opinion!
if it was true, they could either use an advanced version of ai that can copy her voice, (3rd party ones), or find a person that sounds almost identical to her. Really sad seeing amy go

i think its a coincidence ngl because idk why they would like completely get rid of her like if they are modernizing surely she would still be voice acting right? but idk
@@Stylezzz well they are clearly wrong, the game has been running worse ever since it came out. The game literally freezes for a second when you open the wardrobe
i thought i was the only one who noticed coach slowly being phased out! im not entirely sure if its intentional or not but it plays into my version of the rec room lore so
