BVR PLEASE READ i found out what the goo is if you take a pic of the goo and take a close look you can see 4 turtles and its the muntent ninja turtles as how the turtles came to be
my guess is that it may be futureproofing in case they decide to experiment with having reduced rewards at lower tiers at some point. like maybe in a few months they'll make it so that S tier still gets 25 tokens per player, but if you make A tier you get 10 tokens per player or something like that
@@seven2006 they arent the one getting sued, there's just some discord screenshots in the suit that have gridino talking in them because theyre just from a public discord lol. so technically they "made it in" to the lawsuit
While I get that Rec Room should be a safe experience for all, at the same time, he was only 1 kid, and he is a teenager too who is prone to doing stupid things at his age. I lean over on the hackers side more.
Please tell me the forbidden what is bag or something like that wait a second does anyone remember about S and h that’s what it is because remember we don’t know what kind of like color that h is so bad could h or I have a better idea maybe it’s the teller cause like you know what happened I can go him and then you go to him another day after that day he explodes with like a green mist it could be the teller
as far as I know they did try multiple times to pay him for reporting vulnerabilities (as is their policy for anyone) but he did not comply and kept doing his thing. iirc he was just really against rec room as a company for some reason
Why is Rec Room making stuff very expensive it's because of the unity policy because unity policy made that when a user downloads the game it costs the one that created needs pay 0.20 dollars for every single user
rec room putting a lawsuit on a 16 year old because of hacking is literally like if the company apple put a death sentence threat on a person just because he stole one of their ipads
The room rewards update suck because stand alone quest can only spend to hours in rec room before it dies so there biggest player base cannot even spend 2 hours in a room
@@routiesero5632 My view is that they should be working on ways to prevent hackers instead of sending a lawsuit to a 16 year old. Like he did do something illegal but it seems messed up to send a proper lawsuit when he isn't even an adult yet, they have the full legal right to do that but I think that there should be backlash from the community because of the moral aspect, he is put into a dangerous situation just from some harmless crime like this, what be did wasn't morally wrong, I think we should always stand with morals over the law anyways but how much money would rec room have lost from this? I doubt it would be a lot, sending something as scary as a lawsuit to a child instead of just banning his account and fixing the problem shows that Rec Room doesn't care about causing harm to people as long as it can get a new tool to scare away hackers.
@@JubulusPrime From your comment it seems you might not know all the things they did... I would recommend reading through the lawsuit. Rec Room has actually tried several things to prevent hackers and I believe they made patches that blocked hacks at least once, so they have been working on it. From what I read they were also banned several times in game for harassing people which isn't really harmless (though that's not the main reason for getting sued). I think one of the other main reasons is that they were selling the hacks for an actual price and making a profit off of it, which is kinda immoral. (By the way, from what I know, Rec Room is only seeking what the court ends up believing is justified for making up for the damage caused, I don't think they're demanding a specific amount of money or anything). As for money, the lawsuit also details that they spent money just on preventing specifically this kid from doing any of this (I believe). As for "messed up to send a proper lawsuit when he isn't even an adult yet" they had apparently reached out to their parents urging them to have their kid stop, and they had also sent a cease and desist letter as a warning in advance. Both were ignored and the cease and desist letter was actually showed off and bragged about apparently. (Sorry if this seems overly argumentative I just really want to hear the alternate views on these specific parts of the lawsuit if you would be willing)
it was just over discord dms that I cant find anymore. I wish I had made the video back then, but because hacking isnt rly a relevant thing in rr anymore I dropped the idea because it was taking too long to make and most of the stuff I gathered while working on it is lost
6:44 my friends and I used to leak recroom items and the amount of times recroom had told us they where gonna sue us for copyright but nothing ever happened. I never thought they would actually gonna sue lmao omg
Hey BillehBawb Glad to see you're ok I got worried after seeing you didn't record for 1 year on you're other channel so happy to see you're got a new passion and hope you enjoy the new rec room updates soon and I will try to call you BVR on this channel and BillehBawb on you're other channel anyways you're new content is very good
Its a hack not a hole breaking the game like the rec center is ok but the hole game that should get a lawsuits but it a 16 year old and just the rec center so that is dumb
I feel like Rec Room can do better than a lawsuit at least try to reason with the kid (im making the assumption that they havent but i really dont know) like maybe something along the lines of "Hey, stop ruining our game and we won't continue with this lawsuit." I lost a whole friend group over someone accusing me of bullying and his mother threatened a lawsuit the whole thing could have been fixed with one conversation It's a sixteen year old kid im sure he is already terrified that a lawsuit came out of something that he thought was innocent (but i dont know some people can be really evil he can also have no regrets or feelings about it at all) try a little harder to fix the problem instead of jumping straight into a lawsuit (again im making the assumption that they havent tried that hard to fix the problem) (this is all my opinion im only fourteen please dont hate me💀)
What makes you think that they didn't try reason first? Most companies send out a cease and desist before starting a lawsuit. Also who would think hacking an online game would be something innocent?
i was just making the assumption that they havent tried also my friend used to just pull peoples ip addresses for fun and he didnt think there was any problem 🫤
No hard feelings since your just stating your argument but they did try to reason with the kid. They first just told him to stop but he didn't so then they literally offered him a job to detect invulnerability in their software. The kid just decided to keep Hacking and then thats when they decided to start a lawsuit.
Rec Room putting more effort into suing a teenager rather than fixing their game, funny how the only time Rec Room is actually funny is whenever they aren't making garbage memes
