Do you all have sunny days there? we tried living in Portland time ago, I hated it there. Raining all the time with cloudy days, just wasn't used to that and also the people there, kind of out there in lala land. Cost of living, way too much! I am looking for a area with mountains and also sunny days. Someone told me to move to Colorado if I am looking for that. Well, what do you say?

300 days a year of sun over here. We are protected by the mountains, sit at 3500' elevation. I grew up in Salem. I also lived in Colorado for a couple of years. Same feel as Colorado for sure.

Could you explore or perhaps talk about general NW redmond area? Esp near the La Casa Mia / farm-rural area that’s still part of Redmond? How’s that general area?

I think it definitely has a more conservative feel than Bend. But that is just my opinion!

Yes. If you look at the line the folks drew who want to join Idaho, it kinks to include Redmond and kinks back to exclude Bend. Bend and Redmond are just 15 miles apart and it's like night and day politically. I've lived in both places. Been a realtor here in Central Oregon for 20 years... if you love your guns, the flag, and freedom, Redmond is the place. Hi Derek. Nice job dude.
