As I understand 1 Corinthians 7, BELIEVERS should not divorce (vs. 10). They may separate, though, and they should remain single. If one or both parties are not BELIEVERS, then different rules apply. And it's interesting that the Scripture doesn't even say that the unbeliever left because of the believer's FAITH. Just that they are unwilling to live with the believer. So does this mean a believer can't separate from an unbeliever, but should wait (and pray) to be left?
Uh-oh, the Corinthians verse does not indicate that you can remarry. Adultery, abuse, or anything else does not justify remarriage. You could justify divorce but not remarriage.
