I have the waza DS-1 ...I get a pretty killer lead sound out of it but the OD 3 is so much more versatile and SO MUCH more smoother sounding. with both of them, it's best to throw in a GE7 EQ right after them to fine tune.

I loved my OD-3 when I had one, but ultimately had other pedals that did a similar thing. I don’t have anything that sounds like this

I think he was just trying to show a tube screamer alternative that is better and I’d have to agree with him however I wouldn’t want it over many other drives

There are just dozens and dozens of Amp-in -Box pedals that give all the aggression and punch one could possibly use yet still have an nice warm sound rich in harmonics. In am a big collector of AIAB pedals from the cheapest to the obscenely expensive but I truly believe my Caline High Peak Distortion at $40.00 USD makes this Boss look wanting. OK that aside, Thanx for the demo Jackson .To those watching this be sure to do a thumbs up and subscribe. Both take literally seconds to do but they make it possible for Jackson to give us reviews. Often he is first to show a pedal you don't see anywhere that just a short time later if you wanted one you are on the tail end of a long waiting list.

I love classic rock but I just don't like distortion pedals when I'm playing. The amount of times I hear someone playing a really good sounding distortion pedal and think I might buy that, but in reality I just stick to my low/medium overdrive pedals, or stack two together like the Cornerstone Imperium (Gladio SC and Antique).

I think the custom mode sounds a lot better than the standard at least to my ears I like more midrange in my drives

I like the ds1....sometimes. I don't think I would put one on my board but I do enjoy jamming with it every once in a while. I did buy and then sell the ds1w. The waza craft version just wasn't worth it to me. Nice video!

This somehow came out far better then the bd-1w and the sd-1w. You'd of never thought 😂, the ds-1w is the best Waza dirt pedal (yes its better than the Fuzzes and the metal and all all that).

This is a great pedal if you want a really thin over distorted tone to attract demonic spirits. In fairness though, with a single coil pickup and a great tube amp, it can be ok for certain things.. In a limited way.

it would get quite fatiguing to the ear, but only a moron would set it there and live with it. There's never been a rule that all settings must be palatable. They're called "controls" because they provide, surprisingly it seems, Control. You are in Control. God help me if I ever utter the words "Everything at 12 Noon". Use your ears.... adjust... CONTROL. It's not Rocket Science. Just try the bits "inbetween" 9 0'clock, 12 O'Clock and 3 O'Clock. Honestly dude, it really ain't that hard.
