Dude will be a top 10 draft pick, the guy played with a punctured lung and broken rib that he got in the 5th game of the season vs Arizona fielding a onside kick. Dude had to be driven back to Seattle and never missed a game. Dude was allowed to return 2 punts this year, one went for a TD the other was a fair catch. Rome is the BEST WR in the ncaa this year.

ye no its MHJ lmaooo, 1200 yards and almost heisman with kyle mccord as his qb. on top of that Odunze is running through dogshit PAC 12 defenses. that being said I still think Odunze will be better than Nabers and def will be a phenomenal receiver, but not the best cmon

The guy Odunze reminds me of is Michael Irvin. He's the reason that Penix has as many interceptions as he has, because you throw to him even when he is covered. He will win most of those 50/50 balls but you might get burned a few times. Odunze's fast but he isn't a burner. He'll be a terror in the NFL at the RZ, because he'll catch TDs even when covered. He's physical for a WR. Gets PI on him regularly, often uncalled, and still catches the ball. Obviously, Irvin is HOF - not saying Odunze will be that. But if you watch Irvin at Miami and Odunze at WA, they look similar ( Irvin outweighed him by 10-15lbs.)
@zacknewton1064
@zacknewton1064 9 месяцев назад
i agree, but Odunze’s physicality hasn't been truly tested all year bc he plays in the pac 12 which is an offense based conference. he finna light up texas tho win or lose

Yep, it's crazy to think that at this time last year, his contested catch ability was considered a bit of a red flag. It's great to see the development that he's had year-to-year!

Rarely breaks tackles? C’mon. This video sounds like you’re talking about 2022 Odunze. And the one strength you didn’t mention is his ability to win on contested throws. As a Huskies fan, I’m biased, but I’m completely confident that he’ll have a smooth transition to the NFL.
@FallBallSports
@FallBallSports 9 месяцев назад
I watched a lot of his film from this year, and I can confidently say I didn't see him break many tackles. Sure, he's pretty good at avoiding getting tackled, but when the defenders get their hands on him, he usually goes down and will in the NFL against better defenders. And I touched on his contested catch ability -- insanely improved from 2022!

Malik Nabers is Ja'marr Chase 2.0. He's got the speed, acceleration, route running, hands, and ability to break tackles that Chase displayed in 2019. It was almost like watching Ja'marr all over again this year.

Malik Nabers is closer to MHJ than Rome Odunze is to Malik Nabers. MHJ and Nabers are basically the same as Bijan and Gibbs were to the 23 rb class. There are a lot of contenders for wr3 and Odunze is one of them.
@FallBallSports

@maximilianschott3827
@maximilianschott3827 8 месяцев назад
@@FallBallSports I think Brian Thomas Jr is higher than Odunze for me. He’s more “raw” than Odunze, but possesses better separation skills and we’ve only seen him as a deep threat as #2 in the LSU offense. If he develops more short/intermediate route running, his ceiling is really high imo. Troy Franklin I also like more than Odunze. His speed and burst combined with his route running on all 3 levels of the field is really impressive. He has his size concerns, but if he bulks up say 10 pounds over the summer, I think a team is gonna be very happy to have him as a 1B/WR2.
@maximilianschott3827
@maximilianschott3827 8 месяцев назад
Malik Nabers clears this guy by miles get real. He doesn’t have enough burst/acceleration based off the film, he isn’t gonna seperate well at nfl level. He reminds me of Courtland Sutton, great contested catches but doesn’t win through separation.

@@FallBallSportsthe "issues" you declare are way overstated He's way ahead of the others in detail and has significantly improved his strength and has great understanding/execution of route tree His burst is just fine, he's 6'3 so he takes less steps than a shorter receiver(this has the elusion of less explosive) he blows past guys Isn't dangerous after the catch and not great laterally and doesn't break tackles(what games.are.u watching?)😂😂😂

Im gonna go on a limb and say hes not worth a 1st round pick. I'd even argue he's not worth a 2nd rd pick.. I dont see enough speed or separation. seems more of a contested catch possession wr. I think he should be drafted in 2nd - 3rd realistically. Keon Coleman is similar player who runs a 4.6 and i see Coleman with more separation and hes borderline 1st rd guy who prob is better place in rd 2. I would draft Nabers, Harrison, Thomas, and Leggette over Odunze in a second. I would draft Nabers #1 and Harrison #2 and there the only ones worth taking in top 10. Then i would draft Thomas #3 and Leggette #4 later in round 1.

projecting him as a round 2 talent is crazy. He has everything u want from a true WR1 and he will go top 10 maybe 5th overall. He plays like Mike evans not like the guys who were named in this video. Getting a true #1 WR is hard and not many come along so there is no shot teams will let that type of prospect drop. I honestly think he could be better than mhj tho mhj will have the advantage of wherever he goes he instantly becomes their #1 wr cause of his name alone. But when it's all said and done Odunze will be best of this class.

I think Rome is WR #3 in this class. What concernse about Rome tho is he almost always has a defender on his hip. Separation might be an issue. The one that I want to see at the combine or Senior Bowl is Legette. Legette to me is WR #3b
@michaelharris7445
@michaelharris7445 9 месяцев назад
If we're saying MHJr (OSU) is WR#1, I have Rome O. as my #5 reciever behind Keyon Coleman (FSU), Malik Nabers (LSU), & Legette (S.Car). But that's no shot to him. This upcoming 2024 draft is going to be LOADED in WR talent in the first and second round.....and to be honest, I'm not even sure if MHJr is better than K. Coleman or M. Nabers. We'll see what the combine numbers look like and how the interviews go....I'll take either one for my Bears.
