This is a problem I've been facing currently with upgrading my fountain. My solution at the moment is using Submersible Solenoid Valves instead of buying more pumps (given that they aren't very efficient and I don't need everything turned on at the same time), however I'm already in need of replacing the 13500 LPH pumps that will run this system with 40000 - 60000 LPH pumps because of a very demanding nozzle that I've added. I hope one day solar will become way more affordable.

The price of solar panels is coming down slowly, but it's the price of the batteries that are the real problem. Do you have a link to these submersible solenoid valves?

Yes, 28 pumps is a lot of pumps (Don't forget the 10 lights) but without them, our fountain could not do what it does.
