Is Saleen Building Super Cars? We Spy the Saleen S1 and an S7 Under Construction. 

I glad to see Steve get his company back and building cars again.

I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOVED the Saleen S7 when it came out.. that was my POSTER car. i loved all that Mr. Saleen did with Mustang platform as I am a huge Mustang fanatic at heart. to see what he is achieving now with the S1 is amazing. Im looking forward to seeing more about this car. it looks pretty sharp, too.

Years ago, I saw Saleen S7s run in racing conditions and the proprietary 7 liter engine sounds insane. IMO, the ONLY better sounding production engine is the Voodoo. Also, IMO, I would be curious to see how feasible it would be to fit the S1 with a Voodoo.

Seems like Saleen redeveloped the S1 from the Artega, which looks a LOT like. The Artega, when it was debuted read like "What if Porsche mad an All-new RMR 911?" The S1 seems to take that to heart.

S1 looks very familiar to me, seems it is based on the Artega GT.

Bruno Tulliani: What car are you referring to. The S7 design was introduced in the late 90s. I think you have it turned around because many of today's super cars copied the original S7 aero designs and body style. I'm not sure what class this car will run in with a monster Ford 427 with 1300 horsepower. The BOP will likely reduce that by a minimum of 600 horsepower while adding a lot of weight. I'm happy to see Saleen starting to turn the corner after some hard financial times. I'm also happy seeing Ford power still under the hood of both of these beauties.

Evan...we need an update on the 7.3 development ...blower race motor in the Mustang foxbody.

Love the new design. One question though, why the hell happened with the interior? Did they run out of budget? Looks like they just took ques from old Saleen. Sorry guys back to the drawing board on the interior. Let me hear more about the engine hope it's impressive

The s7 has a 1.1 to 1 ratio between horsepower to weight in kilograms and that’s what HyperCar does

7L so that is a 427 or a 460 lol. Bigblock with a lot of torque.
