I like how the UK version has a better age range in there cast and alot of people in their 30s. This cast seems to be way more mature than the US version!

Sam is all about himself. "I want you to love me, have my children, make me happy", everything about "me, me, me". He is selfish and he wants someone to give him a piggyback and build up his ego, so he can fake a self-confidence that is not there. I hope Nicole dodges the bullet for real.

Beniah is the "better option" but I need Nicole to understand leaving alone is also an option.

I don’t think Benniah was overstepping - it gave me Bliss/Irina vibes. But I also think he wanted to say it regardless if Nicole picks him or not.

I don’t feel Sam has genuine feelings for Nicole the way he quickly switched from jasmine to Nicole feels fake. Benaiah did a good thing looking out for Nicole and I hope she heeds his advice

Sam constantly throwing tantrums says it all. He can’t even keep up his fake persona.

Nicole was doing fine and she was clear on who she wanted until Beniah said he wasn't sure if he wanted to marry her, things went down hill from there and she started thinking Sam was sn actual option. She wanted a clear yes so bad she ran to that weirdo despite receiving several warnings from Beniah and her friend Jasmine.

My jaw was on the ground when he said "beggars can't be choosers." He isn't even TRYING to hide his inauthenticity. It is gross. Looking forward to more reviews! I love watching these. Because when I'm watching, I'm thinking "Oh, Queen E is gonna have something to say about that!" lol.

A man feeling protective in a healthy way over a woman he’s interested in, cameras or not, is not an over step of bounds. The final choice is Nicole’s, but it was best that he gave her info to help make an informed decision (JUST MY OPINION ON IT LOL)

I like Nicole but she’s giving desperate. Beniah and Nicole I believe are better suited. Sam is exceedingly animated.

Nicole and Benahia have that Hallmark scenario kind of romance. The city girl and the down to earth guy.

Sam's response was manipulative. What he actually said was "should I just give up on ever finding love." I had an ex who used to speak like that, the relationship was a nightmare. You're assuming Sam has an authentic self. Beniah was being genuine, you could see him visibly wincing when Sam was running his mouth. I do think he was looking out for her. There's only so much vetting she can do in the pods, especially when Sam is being fake as hell.

Beniah should have just told Nicole what he overheard if he wanted to warn her. Claiming he "isn't there for the right reasons" just makes him sound jealous and desperate. Then she can make her own decision with a real tangible piece of evidence rather than a vague declaration.

But Sam's answers seem terrible to me. "I need you to this, I need you to that". What does he have to offer?

My problem with Sam is that he be gassing himself up by talking about his appearance so much that he thinks this is gonna be a turn on for girls. When in reality that is such a turn off

You can have a home base and live off-grid. Off grid just means disconnected from the “grid”, so if you own land, have a remote cabin, run off solar, if you have well water..bonus. Maybe have animals you can get some food products from (goats, chickens, etc). Homesteaders usually are fully or partially off grid but they own land with a home of some sort on it. Voluntary Nomads, which Beniah seems to be currently, don’t have a home but aren’t necessarily broke or jobless depending in what his freelance work is. Most nomads usually move towards homesteading if they ever settle down to a home base.

If Beniah had said to Nicole what he said to the producers in that interview after -- 'I'm falling for Nicole, but I'm scared' -- I think she would have been much less upset! I feel like he needs to work on communication

I wish Beniah would say the things hes saying in the confessionals TO NICOLE!! Hes saying he cares so much and shes the one to us, but tiptoes around his feelings when speaking to her. It has me yelling at the screen.

the way Benaiah was squinting his face while she talked about genuinely having a connection with showed how uncomfortable he was with how wrong she is. He must quite know himself that's why his not sure about marriage he knows( am pretty sure he sniffed out Sam's fakeness)am with him on this. i rather be unsure and take it easy than fake it.

Beniah is not homeless though. He just moves to where his work is. I know a lot of people that travel around for work and they have enough money. He was just joking 😅

I haven’t seen episode 3 & 4 yet, but I have a strong feeling that this Ollie, Catherine & Demi storyline isn’t done yet. I feel like at some point Catherine is going to make it seem like the only reason why Ollie & Demi are together is because she ended it. I do agree with you that Catherine is intimidated by the connection that she assumes Ollie & Demi has.

I don’t think Sam himself knows who he really is. That’s why he can’t be authentic yet is surprised when people call him out on it. He doesn’t even realize he’s not the real him because he doesn’t know that that would look like. He’s lost.

If more men were honest with their friends/associates girlfriends, there would be a lot less broken hearts so I think he was right to tell her💕

Nicole is unfortunately in love with the idea of being in love. The red flags are beyond HUGE and she's so keen for perfection, she isnt prepare to read between the lines.

You can have a base and be off grid. Lots of people own homes and land but are "off grid". It just means they are self sufficient and reliant on themselves for power, water, etc. They will use well water, rain water as the main supply for water and solar power for electricity and so forth. I relate to Freddie probably needing to be there for his brother when hes older, as someone who also takes care of my special needs sister. Its a difficult thing to open up about and find a relationship

Thanks for these reviews, your take on these relationships helps me remember the characters and understand where they are coming from. There are certainly some interesting people here. Sam is a narcissist and has major issues. Jasmine dodged a bullet there. Nicole, be careful. Ollie seems very nice but he’s said a few red flag things about physical appearance. I think Ollie will hurt the lovely Demi. Tom talks well and I think multiple women will love him but he will choose the wrong one. Tom is a broken man who talks such a good game and he will choose the wrong woman and then break her heart because he won’t fully commit. This is an absorbing series, I can’t wait to see what happens. 😊

I think Catherine decided to fall back because it provides a chase for when Ollie sees her in person. And she'll be the one that got away. Catherine IMO. doesn't see Demi as competition.

I’ve only just found your channel and I haven’t seen any of the LIB UK version myself but I must say, this is the first time that I’ve noticed that every contestant is really good looking. Like on the other version I usually think the girls are pretty and the guys are meh but my god all of these men look gorgeous. I think with Cathrine, from the first look men think she is sexy and them when they get to know her and she cries, they see her as sensitive and has a lot of baggage, not because she is adopted but for the fact that she is vulnerable around them. So its not one or the other

I dont think you meant it in a malicious way, but I think it's unfair to question whether Catherine's story about how her being an adoptee is seen as baggage in relationships. Adoption trauma is real even for people who were adopted into loving homes. From what I've heard fom multiple adoptees, they feel like they don't know who they are especially if they don't know where their bio family is from or they don't have a relationship with their bio fam. Not knowing who they are can affect them negatively and even bleed into their romantic relationships, this is true even for people who aren't adopted. It's one of the reasons adopted adults seek out their biological family members even if the family that adopted them treats them well. it's similar to how people who dont know where they're ancestors are from because of slavery etc can have the need to want to know their true "origins" to feel connected to their ethnicity/culture, to have a sense of belonging if that makes sense.

I don't think it was overstepping but he made have done it the wrong way where it comes off as sabotage because he did it at the same time as trying to disclose his real feelings, so now Nicole is on overload even with him trying to go easy with his info (he probably needed to be specific because what Sam be saying the those men's quarters is wild af imho. Re: Beniah telling her about Sam - I’m veryy familiar with the kind of situation where you have a strong connection with someone and have to watch them get duped and swayed by someone who you can see clear as day doesn’t have the best intentions or isn’t nearly good enough for them. It gets so infuriating, there are times where you just have to say something to try and help them see it

I actually like that Benaiah said something to Nicole. I get what you're saying about letting her do her her own vetting. However, she literally can't. She can't hear what's being said in the men's quarters. She can't look at his social media. She can't see his body language or see his facial expressions. She can't talk to her loved ones as a sounding board for opinions. I get that Benaiah has something to potentially gain because he's also interested. However, I'm a strong believer that I don't want people in my life that will let someone drag me through the mud when I'm not in the room. If Benaiah didn't say anything at all, what kind of man would that make him? That feels like he wouldn't be an honorable man. Now, he could have confronted Sam and I think that could have been a valid option. But that also could have given Sam the opportunity to cover his tracks more with lying. I also respect that when Benaiah told Nicole, he was clearly trying to care for her feelings in the process. Benaiah also doesn't know if Nicole is a larger girl. Instead of saying "he sounds like he doesn't want you because he thinks you're fat", he said "he's not here for the right reasons". I think that Benaiah was in a tough position. But I think he handled it the best that he could.

Off grid living doesn’t have to be nomadic but it is like a tiny home not connected to city power or water systems, collecting rainwater and growing your food 😅 I don’t think Nicole is down for that but who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

There's so many things he said that just screams HUGE red flags. I would be so worried for Nicole. He seems that he could be abusive, like controlling and verbally, his tone of voice in some things he said. It looks like he just wanted a wife and "win". And it's all about him. He doesn't say that he loves her, he doesn't say anything about what he can give to her and how he would treat her.

Im watching the episodes along with your uploaded recaps. Keeps it more entertaining for me. The thing with adoptive parents is a difficult subject. I assume she is thankful she got raised by them but i also understand the people that still would like to know how their biological parents look like to see if they look alike. Catherine has clearly not dealt with that yet and that could be a problem in a relationship. Its a chapter in her life she truly needs to explore
