due to how the game takes in input, it technically doesnt matter / matters very little if you play at 60fps. but it becomes increasingly worth it at higher and higher framerates, up until it technically becomes an advantage when playing with the click between frames mod.

that's true but the polling rate isn't the only advantage. also I'd like to add that mobile players won't be using a sayo and PC players who can only run most levels at 60 fps have a TPS advantage that makes the game run at essentially 240hz. this is still very true though as with physics bypass 360fps a higher polling rate matters more

I need your opinion!! Im kinda new to gd and ive been using the gpx superlight not worrying about the delay, recently i bought a razor viper v3 pro, which has a 8k hertz polling rate. But i wanna switch to keyboard. I wanna buy the sayo device. Keep in mind i only beat 2 easy demons being change of scene, and ispywithmylittleye. I have a ryzen 7 5700x which im sure could handle 8k. But idk if i need to download plugins i seen you mention something called cbf, can you reply?

yo! so you dont need any plugins to run the sayo at 8k polling rate, and cbf (click between frames) is a geode mod that unlocks the steps the game usually checks for inputs on. the mod basically limits your precision to your device's polling rate. any other questions?

at 6:00 one thing to mention you could get a corsair k70 which is probably the best keyboard for geometry dash at only 70$

i feel like the sayo would only be worth it if you dont already have a decent kb, the only reason why I'd rather just built a custom kb is because the sayo is small asf

yeah, and sayo is only beneficial if you main rhythm games too. if you already have a good kb you wouldn't be as interested as someone who doesn't have a good kb/mouse

i just got one as im swtiching from a terrible mouse but i lost all my skill after practicing im still very inconsistent and forget to straight fly. Im not sure if thats normal when being new to keyboard

@@theatlasdude MMM nope i only played for like an hour came back and i was way more inconsistent. Right now i seem to do better i got used to it but im still not fully adjusted cuz i missclick and spam is way easier but harder to control and not touch any hitboxes

@@TacoGirlGD sorry that ur finding the transition rough D: if when u try to spam consistently you go up try lowering the input distance and raise the release distance, and vise versa with going down

@@theatlasdude well sayo did help me with auditory breaker but it still feels unnatural for me. Either way i suck so trying beating auditory feels never ending to me as i die to random spots and lose consistency
