SCP 529 is a Safe Class anomaly also known as Josie the Half-Cat.
SCP-529 is a small house cat (Felis catus) with grey tabby markings.
Parts of SCP529 to the rear of the end of the ribcage appear to be missing. The body terminates sharply as if sliced in two.
In spite of this, the animal has no health problems, and moves about as if its hindquarters were still in place. For example, walking takes place as usual, and some time after feeding the animal makes motions as if to void itself of waste matter.

Josie doesn't really consider dogs to be her natural enemy. In fact, she's best friends with SCP-530, a dog who constantly grows and un-grows additional limbs and other features in a random pattern.

In real life, if such creatures existed, the "half cat" would freak a lot of people out. For example, children in a hospital or people with depression might be majorly helped by 999. The people could have it explained to them what the "tickle monster" is so that they don't freak out when they see it and I think most people including children would love it and not be afraid as long as they were told first but the "tickle monster" is totally ALIEN to people so they have no real "frame of reference" for judging it. However, pretty much everyone knows what a cat is supposed to look like so a cat with HALF ITS BODY MISSING would really freak people out. Its like UNCANNY VALLEY.

So here's the real question. Given that the back half of her doesn't exist in THIS universe, might it perhaps be the half of the cat that exists in a mirror universe where things might be opposite of our own. Also, if say this mirror universe were to exist where things were polar opposites, then could we bring our 682 into their universe and have it's anomalous abilities converted through the laws of the mirror universe and it become the very easy to destroy reptile. And would the tickle monster be the harbinger of the scarlet king instead of it's supposed "destruction". It's amusing how many potential what ifs and questions could arise because of half of a cat. 🤣

Consider this: SCP 999s anomalous effect _is_ being cute and nice and slimy. Josi is just a cat and she still is as cute as she is, without being anomalous in that regard. So while 999 might be more cute to some, Josi at least plays fair and if she loves you, it is her own decision, not her given character ark. Anyway, you know you can like both, right?

cats don't typically like eye contact, they find it threatening if you stare at them so may be it might help 096 out to have a cat companion to have at the facilitie ( although this may have some setbacks because cats will also most make eyecontct with a person they particularly like )

I’m still on the run from the foundation and It’s been 9 days since I last downloaded Malo but the only thing I discovered about it is the fact that it’s less of scp-173 and more the startling statue its not tried harming me but I see lots of pictures with even me in it.
