"Hello" is one of my favorites. It got a little overplayed when it was out, so sometimes folks overlook it. Love "Rumor Has It" and "Turning Tables" are great as well. Really, anything by her. :)

She had to have surgery on her throat after recording this song,she was not given any reassurance that her voice would come back, they did say if it did that it would not sound the same. She beat all the odds really,I have loved her music and can not tell that the surgery changed her voice at all,she worked very hard to get her voice back….Blessed Be Adele and thank you so much for your beautiful songs 😊💜😊💜

What's really endearing about her is not only that high note but when she changes octaves you can hear her accent. Usually you don't hear it with British singers but her's is a rather strong localized one and it's just perfect the way she uses it.

I'm not an expert on Adele by any means.. but over the years.. it seems to me that she writes about her life.. her pain.. her joys. This to me is a someone left her.. she's hurt and Pissed!!! Love the sword dancers.. then the fire burning it all.. to me it's her emotions burning up. Treasure gold was the beautiful songs she wrote and sang.. lolol.. all the way to the bank. One of my favorites is James Arthur.. since his first appearance on 2012 UK Xfactor he's also a writer of emotions.. happy and sad.. but never boring.
