your critique of her song is spot on... she is not just singing... she is telling a story that comes out as very authentic and compelling because of the way she uses her instruments, that is, not only her voice, but her emotions and gestures to express the meaning that the song wants to convey through her. I truly believe she's one in a million... it's always a privilege to be able to hear her sing.

Virginia Punzalan - I am an avid fan of Morissette not only because she is an excellent singer but she is also down to earth believer of excellence in everything she does. She is not afraid to face her imperfections and limitations in her music that is why she is credible. Great singers of the world (women) for instance based in the US that became the measuring rod of perfection in their kind of music were made perfect by their mentors who were successful enough to cover their imperfections through the aide of technology . If you listen to the highest note required only few do it genuinely to stay on the pitch required if you know what I mean. Mori does it without the aid of body movement or else musical instrument. She is the epitome of perfection because she is not afraid to face her limitations that she entrusts to her God for perfection for His glory and honor. Listen to her rendition of "Will You Be Messiah" you will understand where I am coming from in my understanding of this singer beyond compare.

Please do the live recording with band, where she wears the metallic dress, not the Wishbus version!
