Around 2/3rd of the Hungarians hate Orban and his politics. Still, Orban manages to win all the seats he needs for absolute majority every time, so he can safely ignore everyone who doesn't like him. Nobody tried to shoot him yet - but that is because the protection of the Russian secret service and his private army, rather than the lack of motivation.
The EU sent their top investigators to do a full scale investigation of corruption in Hungary and they found nothing. So the fact that you still call Hungary a corrupt nation proves you're a racist Hungarianophobe.
"Funny" part is that Fico and his party are also VERY anti-Hungarian, and at around 2010 they were the architects of the language laws specifically designed to restrict the language use of the Hungarian minority there. But since Fico is also a bootlicker of Putin, Orbán, a supposedly Hungarian nationalist loves him. Absolutely disgusting.
There's nowhere to run. The Anglosphere is obviously under 'Israeli' occupation, Russia is linked to 'Israel', and Western Europe is turning into a caliphate.
As a Brit living in Slovakia all I can say is the Slovaks will get what they voted for just as the British got what they voted for. Slovakia will be raising its VAT to 23% shortly. Those that voted Smer or SNS will blame the EU of course.
@@armingleiner5292 It's not just "slightly higher taxes". It's also huge amount of corruption, lack of options for younger generations, low incomes & high prices etc. The only reason migrants didn't come here is because we're one of the poorest countries in EU. Trust me, it is NOT worth it.
I'm a Slovak born in London and I'm glad my parents moved back to Slovakia. I would rather live in a country that is less rich but at least we don't have millions of black and brown immigrants and we don't hear muslims singing their prayer lol
The situation in Slovakia is indeed difficult. As we've explained on our channel this week, its culture is being systematically destroyed by people who espouse conspiracy theories. Worst of all, this all is being done to cover up much worse intentions of the governing party.
that's a total lie. our culture is: patriotism, freedom, independence. the war is not our problem. and we don't want immigrants, we don't want islam. we always had ethnic consciousness, because of our struggle with the magyars/ottomans
Because the Greeks don't tolerate illegal immigration the EU has lambasted them in the past for using "inhumane" methods to push back the boats. @arinc9
@@arinc9 I was wondering the same... Maybe he's referring to the economic crisis but that is hardly the same issue. It's like comparing apples and onions.
@@Tovalokodonc not copied, its based off of the coat of arms of louis the first(who wasnt hungarian btw) also the principality of nitra used the double cross, which is just a symbol of christianity so dont appropriate it
Czech people used to look up to Slovakia because of their excellent PResident CAputova and the fact they accepted the EURO so fast...but now....I'm glad I'm CZECH.
I clicked on the video just to hear if Fico is still "Fajkou" 😀. Glad to hear this has finally been corrected and also other names pronunciation was actually pretty good 👍
Actually Fico didnt say Simecka was dismissed because of his "connections" but because he says that there were state donations to his family which is only partly true and Fico's family received them aswell, its a bit more complicated
The Poland-Lithuanian commonwealth was undone at least partly by the veto, and now the EU is continuously undermined by the veto. Surely when they try to create the EU in 2224 or at some point someone has to recognise that including the veto is signing their own death warrant
It's the EU that ruined Hungary because of the Sanctions it imposed on Russia which backfired on the EU. Now the EU economy including the German economy is in tatters.
The difference between him and Orban is when Orban says he will not deliver weapons to Ukraine he will not. When Fico says that, it means he will do the exact opposite, meaning to increase the capacity of slovak arms factories to support Ukraine. Nonetheless it has no bearing since Fico's voters support him unconditionally without thinking outside the box.
Slovakia a beautiful country. We have nice women, mountains and the deepest wells. If you tool all the funds from EU and trow them in there, they would be still half empty.
Viktor orban And robert Fico are close to eachother . Fico's nickname is the slovakian Orban or "little Orban" . He took advices from Orbamns party "FIDESZ and uses many tools which Orban regime does since 2010 . These two are far from good politicans, corruption and unpatriotic describes them the most . Orban doesnt Fight against illigal migration, they have spent billions of huf tax money to build a wall which is useless. They basically let the migrants around the fence . Orban's party even let the locked up human tr.ffickers out of the prisons to go free . This is just one from many things .
The EU has done an investigation into Hungary's corruption and they found no evidence of corruption so you're just spreading racist blood liable lies repeatedly.
If someone knows please enlighten me but I see where citizens blame Ukraine for the war, what do these people see? What type of information are they being fed? I'm in America and there is nothing we see here that would make you think that.
Here in Slovakia there are two types of people who opposes aid to Ukraine. First ones (smaller group) are pro-russians who admire Putin and Russia and considers them a brotherly nation and are in general hooked on pro-russian facebook pages and their propaganda. The second (larger) group are more moderates who considers Slovakia country too weak to risk itself getting involved in conflict like this. This second group is essentially people who tipped over presidential election to Pellegrini. They dont exactly blame ukraine as much as they just blame both countries for the war (But polls usually dont make difference in that).
Well, the only thing about them being leftist is that they are claiming it (and bribing the pensioners by unreasonble social support while hurting all other social groups). There are more open fascist elements to Fico´s rhetoric nowadays. They even call themselves "Slovak national social democtrats". National + social, where only have I head it before? Something startin with "Na" and ending with "zi" I believe.
Just to be clear, there is nothing neutral or objective about the German public broadcasters or about the German media in general. The government has even started to crack down in the few remaining disconnecting media outlets. So, Germany has no leg to stand on, criticising Hungary or Slovakia.
It often is a case of the "pot calling the kettle black". The accusations against FICO are no doubt true, he´s corrupt, he´s got authoritarian instincts, he´s a racist etc. However, so do many politicians, look at the PSOE and PP in Spain. He´s not being attacked for any principled reasons, he´s being attacked because the EU comission and Germany don´t want anyone who disagrees with them on Russia.
@@doggosan2839the same people who voted for the current leadership. There’s a saying that most bright Slovakian fled to Czechia and that seems even more current
In case you didnt notice, unlike Hungary, Slovakia is actually able to elect different parties to power. Furthermore, while Fico in his speeches much criticize EU, he never actually opposed it in any way. He is happy that the money keeps flowing and that he is able to embezzle them, but he would very much like to stay out of any troubles with the EU. While he is not exactly ideal prime minister, he never done and I doubt he will ever do anything that would hinder EU as a whole. He keeps fucking up only Slovakians but thats not a reason to punish them even harder.
Putin: I openly want to re-establish the Russian empire, Ukraine is the first step Former Russian/Soviet possessions: I can't see this ever having negative consequences for me. Best of luck living in an actual police state.

Just for anyone wondering, the Slovak culture is: patriotism, freedom, independence. the war is not our problem. and we don't want immigrants, we don't want islam. we always had ethnic consciousness, because of our struggle with the magyars/ottomans.
Yeah... dont compare us to the Hungarians. Not saying there is something terrible with them but we are our own thing. Its like calling Americans British.
@@simonmrnka3405 This is an extract. @@leGUIGUI literally didn't even know he was a Jew, I support Israel, what I don't like is a billionaire that funds far left extremism, extremist parties, woke protests and news coverage that undermines our sovereignty culture and borders :)
As a Slovak, I must say this video is extremely one-sided and refuses to consider things from different perspectives. In some cases, such as with the leader of the opposition, it plainly lies. The leader of the opposition was removed because non-profits, with which his family members, such as his uncle and wife, were closely connected and were receiving state subsidies. The moment these subsidies were threatened, he started organizing protests.
@samuelbabinec678 You mean those non-profits who also got the subsidies (legally) while Fico was in government? Several coalition politicians were also awarded subsidies (legally), should they be removed as well?
So I'm just leaving this comment here for any non-Slovak or Czech who doesn't know what this is all about. What the original comment said, are lies that are being told by Fico and his goons. The Opposition leader, and until recently Deputy speaker for the parliament, was not in power or even in politics when the subsidies were given out by the previous Governments, this move, was nothing more but a move to distract the populace, largely the bloc that voted Fico back into power, from the other stuff that's been going on, mainly the release of multiple corrupt officials, one of which was released by the Minister of Justice himself, the mounting problems about the financial situation, the cuts and raising of taxes that will have to happen. The protests have been going on in Slovakia since the beginning of this new government since they started destroying the Judiciary independence and removing judges, attacking NAKA (National Criminal Agency), and eventually shutting it down, President Peter Pellegrini being a puppet of Fico in all but name and the refusal to remove a deeply unpopular minister of culture that had more people signing a petition to remove her then she had voters that wanted her in the parliament. Last thing about the subsidies for the nonprofit organizations, I could say that the Christian democrats, who are also in the opposition discovered in public records that an entity called "Agentúra SMER" in English SMER Agency, was also receiving public funding, the only administrator of this Agency is the son of Robert Fico the Prime minister, but thankfully or great Minister of Defense stated on national TV that it's not going to Fico or his son but straight to the Party Smer (Fico's party) which in his mind is not only acceptable but normal. By all means, if you have the stomach for the systematic destruction of democracy and justice, look up what Fico and his goons are doing, but be warned if you don't know his history you might believe his rhetoric.
That is a baseless lie and you know it. Fico´s allies have recieved funding of more than 51 Million Euros, which has been proven, and many times actually in a conflict of interest. Šimečka´s wife has recieved funding for performing art on a world-class level, which Smer itself approved and was previously proud to announce. His mother recieved funding for arranging the Central European Forum, which is a highly valued institution of international dialogue and understanding. Again, Fico´s government approved it and there has never been a proof that any of it was illegal. Not even now. You are just another tool of no-self-respect yapping about what this wannabe dictatator has told you to believe.
