First Nintendo shut down fan games, then Nintendo is suing people for leaking stuff that Nintendo owns, and now they're threatening to sue SML? I knew Nintendo with somewhat strict but not that strict! It's a sad world that we live in. ☹️
It's just how they are since the beginning. Even if we "protest" about it, that's not really gonna affect them all too much cuz they're a multi billion dollar company and they have the right to do these kind of things legally. Granted, morally it's incorrect and it's sad to see them shutting down things that make people happy. They know they can use the law to protect their IP, stop people like sml to warren confusion that they're affiliated with them, have copyright laws of their own and they can abuse it too. Japan Nintendo is more stricter and is probably telling their American division to do the same
Nintendo characters like Mario DK Yoshi Peach Toad and many others are some of the iconic characters of all time so they don't need a raunchy youtube channel to promote them, also most of the stuff you critized Nintendo for was completely justified like how the whole Smash thing most of the Pro Smash Players aren't good people and with Etika yes it's absolutely tragic what happened to him but Nintendo had no obligation to do something for him and when you say Nintendo doesn't have a good reputation because of those things I don’t most casuals will really give a fuck about those
when i first saw this i was broken, i thought it be the huge fall for sml but, they somehow got through and made amazing content for us to enjoy. once again they came in clutch

@@nelle918SMG4 isn’t as controversial, and is using characters from other franchises too. Besides the main reason there’s swearing in SMG4 is because many audio is used from other media.

i had to stop watching sml for like two years because of my mom and was shocked to see the puppets but i love the fact that sml is starting to make " un - kid friendly" content again.

Two years later and it was recommended to me. Crazy to think that, two years have already passed, since this was uploaded. I remember when I saw this video like a minute after it was uploaded. I was so shocked and disappointed. The puppets looked so ugly compared to the plushies. And now that I’ve gotten used to the puppets, I always think that the plushies were way too small.
Ik this was two years ago but Nintendo doing this is kind of ironic, because they allowed an comic series called Lily Frankie Theater, which were parodies with Mario plushies with inappropriate humor, on their old SNES/Super Famicom accessory, the Satellaview

Coming back a year later and man this is sad but you guys went from like 10k views to like 2mil per video I’m so proud of you guys and the videos are still funny as hell. Edit: I mean the human videos did really poor but they are finally back to old SML views
I finally figured out why Nintendo is doing this now. There are many TV shows that use products and characters from big companies, but they are using them once or just a few times which technically means they are simply doing a parody and that the characters/products that are being used are not permanent or being used multiple times whether being appropriate or not, but since sml was using them permanently and at the time inappropriately Nintendo can say they want you to stop. P.S. still think you guys are cool non the less

Any child with a toy that was officially purchased, and a video camera, who felt like having a bit of innocent fun, should not be subject to the threats of a lawsuit. They need to open a trade deal. Split profits, maybe even sell the rights to the hot selling character, Jeffy, ensuring the continuation of this beloved channel.

But the sml is worse than any Mario plush\Videos out there I am a fan of him I still watch his videos till this day but If you look at his old videos that he never deleted it looks bad on him but like Smg4 at least does not use it and a really bad way
Something about this channel makes it so funny, the way the jokes land.. the way that they do everything. Its so coordinated and makes all this more than just guys playing with toys.
