social media can be good for u. I choose to use facebook etc to socialise and meet people , get to know their culture etc , instead of isolating myself .. its a matter of personal choice.
or it could be bad if someone's already insecure and they see these fake personas and how perfect someone's life is or how good someone looks they might judge themselves off of what they see online we humans have this big problem where we compare our lives to these fake versions of people who make their lives look more interesting then they actually are no one wants to share the bad aspects of life so when people see how "perfect" these people's life's are they may feel alone like no one understands them ik that's what happened to me a couple of years ago and it's the worst feeling on earth
I agree. I think everything we do in life needs to be done under control. Once we lose control, we harm ourselves. If we are going to use Facebook, we need to create a healthy relationship with it. If we notice we are becoming addicted or stressed, we must stop.
social Media is the new way for people to brag about what they have or done. it is for sad people to act happy, or for people who have nothing better to do but watch stupid people getting famous for almost nothing.
All comforts and Joys come in with an embedded sense of responsibility which need not be articulated in words. Technology has brought the world closer to us in our palms. So as civilized beings we need to use it with care and use it for dissemination of knowledge and not for negative or vested interest propaganda.
People are more and more attracting on social media which has been a integral part in our daily life but i has some negative consequences too. Some people might use it to education purpose as well communication but other use it to commit crime.
people want appreciation...love and social media is the best tool to fake..... present the things which they aren't....be you....u don't need ony deep personality to attrack others..just be like warren buffet....just be you.....do what you like with passion and interest....
I'm not buying that example that neighbors helping each other dig out of the snow is an example of how social media is "good for you." If there is a real person helping you dig your car out of real snow in the real world, then what does that have to do with social media? Did you post a Facebook SOS and a neighbor showed up because of a Facebook post? If anything, the example of the car being dug out of the snow is an example against your thesis that social media is good for you; that example is real world, not digital. The role that social media played in that example is .... well, I'm not sure really, because you never actually said what that example actually has to do with social media. Overall, I think these are rather weak examples to support the thesis here.
