On the minutes from 2 to 4: I get the point of Peterson but there needs to be a differentiation between the question: would it have been better that all things would have never existed in the first place (because of all suffering and bad circumstances)? AND The conclusion: let's tear it all apart. There is no path directly to this conclusion because the question just asks something hypothetical. You can't just undo all the things (unless you are an omnipotent being) The only thing is that you can do is tear your or others life apart. And that creates more suffering as he said So there is a practical answer for a question that can only be answered hypothetically and that doesn't mix well. Additionally on 6:06 to rephrase the question he asked: does the motive/end justifies the means. And it's a clear no to that question. But if the means go along well with (of course the Motive) but with you and the people you effect with your actions then yes

The translation and meaning of SATAN is the ACCUSER. (He was the fallen angel who accused God.) It explains the way the evil ones project and accuse, to justify their evil and nihilism. Can we negotiate and understand ?

Would you say that every accusation is plain bad?

@@gsftb I think the Bible makes a distinction between accusing and rebuking. Matthew 18:15 says “If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.” Notice that this is rather confidential, as rebuking is not a call to judgement. We further know that rebuking is not a call to judgement because Jesus said he did not come to judge the world (John 12:47), but he also rebuked his disciples often. An accusation, however, is a call to judgement, and we are told: “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” - Matthew 7:1-2 So accusing may not be morally wrong, but we should be careful not to, for our own sake. The only human who could accuse without bringing suffering upon himself is Jesus, but the story of Jesus and the adulterer (John 8:1-11) shows that even when he was able to judge the adulterous woman, he did not. Since we are supposed to emulate Jesus, maybe it would be a sin then, to accuse, even if we were perfect, because doing so would be something Jesus wouldn’t do.

@@ohboy1113 we are not supposed to act like Jesus mate. Everyone decides this for their own. And just to not judge because one can therefore be judged too is just (not) acting due to fear. I am not a Christian but I suppose Jesus, as I understand him, wouldn't endorse this. I think it's just a polite reminder that you will face the judgment of others if you judge someone with your measurements. And I think judging is sometimes very important, because if you don't do it you will end up in a state not knowing what to say or what you find right or wrong.

@@gsftb In John 13:14, Jesus says “If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.” It seems clear here that Jesus being our teacher implies that we should do as he does.
