Is SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake Best On Switch? 

The slow texture loading is not just on Switch. It's more obvious there, but its on any version. It's vanilla UE4 streaming issue.

I'm really enjoying the game on switch so far. A few issues I have is that the pizza box glider sometimes doesn't activate and the music track that starts when you're near an enemy is playing over the normal music track which makes it sound messy.

One of the glaring things to me is the water seems to be textured differently. Also no reflections in the water.

I feel like nobody complains about the music in this version enough. One of the new features is a dynamic soundtrack meaning a more exciting music track will play when attacking enemies for example. In the Switch version, thanks to all the lag, whenever the fighting music plays, it’s horrifically out of sync with the regular music and it’s just a mess. Really should’ve played this game on a different platform.

The fact that a game that has the PS4 icon on PS5 is the thing that upsets you the most baffles me. But hey your opinion, I guess... I get not having a respective PS5 port or version, but I don't see a big deal as the PS4 and PS5 share similar architecture which is how they even are compatible with each other.

It’s not that the game is best on switch it’s that the switch is your preferred console. Big difference.

now what is interesting is while there isnt a huge diffrence between the critical ratings the switch and the PC version has the best raiting at a 72 with the ps4 and xbox one being at a 69 and 68 which is intresting as for BFBBR the switch copy got a 66 and was the lowest

720p and 30 FPS for a platformer in 2023 is unacceptable. Only buy the Switch version if that's the only system you owned. If you own a PC, PS4/5 or Xbox One/Series then get this game on those systems instead.

You don't have to change the button layout like that. There's an in game button layout option.

The frame rate on the switch is awful. It drops all the time and really hurts the game.

My question is … is the A button still jump , or at least able to change button layout. That bother me with the first game .

My only complaint with the Switch port is the lower resolution and frame rate. 60fps needs to be the standard, and this game can look jawdropping at points. It's such an eye-candy artstyle! But overall, very solid port. Switch fans won't miss out on anything substantial

Obviously no. The best for console is Xbox Series X and the best in general is the PC Master Race.
