Hello Lucie - wonderful that you are helping Sri Lankans see the beauty of country through your eyes. Sadly the people here don’t appreciate the natural wealth they have ❤
SriLand 🇱🇰🇬🇧🙏 Those drone shots of tea plantations 😇👌 So beautiful brought back memories of my home town Badulla, and the train rides to Colombo. Thank you for taking us to places, trails even us haven't explored. Lucie and Lahiru are like the "pied piper" duo! Dogs follow you two everywhere you go. The cows are so fluffy 😅❤ Tuk tuk safe you two. 🙏
Lucie I am one of the subscribers and wanted to say you are magnificent. You love taking risks and challenges. I admire your outlook on life. 2020 you came to Sri Lanka and didn't have a clue what to expect. Past 3 years what you have done and achieved is amazing. You are a role model to all Srilankans. We shouldn't forget about Lahiru as he's your soul mate and dear husband. Of course he supported you every step of the way. I love watching your volgs. You both give so much love and kindness towards animals. Wishing you both a joyful life together ❤
In Sri Lanka, it's my country too. And when you see the rainforest and stuff that means you want to write place of Sri Lanka. I didn't know they had the hats

Happy sunday Lucie and Lahiru. Your tuktuk is a superstar! It has taken you on amazing adventures. I never knew Sri Lanka was so beautiful. Thank you so much for taking us along with you on this adventure. I have such an appreciation for Sri Lanka now. If i was able to travel I would have that at the top of my list. Much love to you both. Stay safe and healthy.
... for sure, how not to fall in love with this country !! Magical Sri lanka ❤ Thanks a lot for this amazing scenery Lucie. What a great experience, well done both 👍👍
What a wonderful video. The tea plantations in the hills do hold an attraction but they are ecological deserts. Before colonisation they were magnificent montane forests. Keep up the great work!
The Mousakelle reservoir and Gartmore falls are some of the breathtaking views of this country. The British introduced tea to Ceylon in the 1800s. You should visit a few plantation bungalows when you visit Adam’s Peak in Jan. You’ll feel the way of life of a British planter back then. It’s amazing how your Tuk carries all that burden of climbing hills. ❤️ So you’ve been to Kandy a second time, and we missed meeting you two in person .
You must go to Lands End. At the Horton Plains forest reserve. View will be stunning , long hike to get there though!! It’s near N Eliza. The mountains around that area are awesome. I can see why the English tea planters enjoyed and lived in that area. Another great vid guys ❤❤😊😊
Hi Lucie, you are such an amazing person ❤. I’m 10 years older than you, yet you inspire me immensely. The amount of hard work you take on is unbelievable. And the way you make things better for the people around you is amazing. May you have all the strength and good fortune to continue doing all these amazing things!!
That huge waterfall was so sic! I loved it. There is so much to see in Sri Lanka. You provide so much more insight and beautiful places to see compared to vloggers who visit for even a month.
Hello, Lucie and Lahiru so glad you two are enjoying the country's natural beauty to the fullest. Even us locals don't get much chance. So lucky u. Anyhow Lucie I have watched ur videos from the very 1st one and If you could find my 1st comment I told you that Sri Lanka will definitely treat you very well and you won't regret your decision to stay here. I guess I proved my point today.. Keep going you two. Good luck!
Amazing video, Lucie and Lahiru! You both exhibit tremendous courage, especially considering Lucie's health condition. Lahiru, you seem to be the pillar of strength for Lucie. Facing challenges with the tuk-tuk is truly inspiring. Personally, I avoid trips if the vehicle seems troublesome, but you've shown me the courage it takes to embrace all the challenges that come with the journey. Exploring this part of Sri Lanka seems to offer a refreshing experience. One of the best aspects of Sri Lanka is its diversity, allowing you to transition from the coldest mountains to warm sandy beaches or explore hot archaeological sites within a few hours.
I found this channel yesterday actually (It's sad cause I'm a sri lankan. (I wish I had found this channel years ago.) Watching all of your videos right now. ❤❤❤. Wish you 2 all the best.
Oh wow.. Luci when you feel the excitement of that waterfall... I and my heart are literally shaking of connecting feelings of your happy moments.my gosh...look at that.....and I'm so sorry for -30 lost its too much as it was not get easy that big number.
What an independent way to travel and see the beauty of Srilanka, It is the most beautiful country and I miss Srilanka so much when I see the places you are visiting. Thank you both.
Amazing video! Makes me want to come to Sri Lanka right away as I don’t live there anymore. I love watching your vlogs and seeing the beauty of Sri Lanka. the videos are so authentic and love to see how you can enjoy life and be happy with simple things. Looking forward to see the next video
Amazing video beautiful sceneries loved the waterfalls. Lucky Lucie you are so brave to drive the distance your doing in your tuk tuk. Thank you so much for sharing god bless you both ❤❤❤❤❤
Lucie, you are brave to leave everything behind and probably not having much of a pension when you retired. I so want to give everything here in North America in my 50’s but I am worried about what I would live on in South India ( the place I want to retire) as a foreigner but I worry what my pension would be like if retire early in North America. We have to work until 65 to get our pension here in North America whereas in lots of other countries it’s 55. Crazy !!!
You both doing really great job.this msg for my local friends,if you can support them like free food, accommodation and other things free of charge ,thats the best motivating part do from our side.
Lucie, u r such a brave, adventurous young lady. U r making ppl around the world see the magnificent beauty that aboinds in Sri Lanka. As fir the waterfalls n tea plantations, they r absolutely gorgeous. God has surely blessed my country. Its the horrible politicians who have made it a hell for it's ppl. All the very best 2 u n Lahiru. ❤ 2 🇱🇰from the 🇬🇧.
It could be Leopard poo.( be careful they wint attack unless you encounter unexpectedly face to face)..Some of the largest sized Leopards prawl in this area..due to cold weather they are large than othersfoind in Sri Lanka..Leopards (like other cats) have a short gut and when they eat, the hair, bones, quills, teeth of the animals that they eat pass through their systems quickly and come out in the scat (fancy name for poo)
Just love watching your travel videos around SL. I miss the place so much. It really is as beautiful as you show it, one of the most amazing places and all so accessible because it is a relatively small island. You really have done injustice in this video, the falls and scenery so gorgeous. Hope you had a day of rest and some time for recovery. Those roads looked a bit hairy though, the landslides will be because of the long and unusual rains this year. Stay safe, both of you.
Don't come to Adam speak this trail in on season because more crowd so go rathnapura trail or kuruvita trail.kuruvita erathna trail is the most beautiful.
