OMG This vid helped me out! I had an Emberton 2 since about a year ago. It connected to the phone and Marshall App with no problems. Today I bought the Middleton and of course I want to stack them. Problem 1: Even though my phone connects to the Middleton with no problem the Marshall App just refuses to acknowledge/find the Middleton. It just gets stuck in "Searching for"... ...so then I remembered I have a Samsung tablet of older model. Downloaded the Marshall App on the tab and halleluja, it can find both the Middleton and the Emberton 2. So then I followed the onscreen instructions to start "stack mode", but then... Problem 2: Immediately when I start a stack session via the Marshall app and get to the point where I'm supposed to double-tab the bt-button on the Emberton to add it to the session it sort of gives a "connect" sound but then it "takes over" from the Middleton which becomes silent. SOLUTION: Connect to the one speaker you want to be "main". Then, while playing some music (might not be necessary but makes it easier to confirm), tripple-tap the main speaker. Then, double tab the secondary speaker. Heureka. No Marshall app needed.
Does it work in a pc? If it does, Once they are in stack mode, when you turn the computer off and next day you turn it on, do you have to do the same operation? Than you!
Mr. Danny Pops! I.AM.SPEECHLESS. 😳 Thank you thank you so much for going this far to answer my question and help me with my problem. You do not know how big this is for me! I am so touched that you tested it out yourself and even posted a video about it! Thank you! This gives me a loooot of hope. I shall disconnect my speakers and reconnect them to my device, fiddle with them, etc. later when I get home. It sucks that it does not always work perfectly, but seeing how yours worked great, it means there is just something I am not doing right. Thank you again so much for this!
Aww, well it makes me happy to surprise you with this!! Again, I think your mileage may vary depending on phone and app used for video. Some seem better than others!
If your having this problem, try swapping the main speaker and slave. i.e. exchange which is in control. Also the app helps, though not needed. I've tried different combinations and usually hit the slaves button 2 times and it connects. Its definitely buggy, but I've found my happy place
I have the Emberton II and I just purchased the Marshall Willen!! Now I have it on my bucket list to try to put them in stack mode soon!! I have to do the unboxing first. I have to press the bluetooth button first on my Emberton then on the brand new Willen. I hope I won't have too many problems!! Thanks... P.S. I also have the Stockwell II, and I know it's a stand alone speaker, but wow!! That 1 has great sound!! But I bought it 2nd hand and it had no strap on it,so then I have 1 holes on each side. For that I made a wood encasement, and drilled a hole path for the bass coming out of the speaker, then the other pieces of wood connected together have a hole almost like going around, o the bass coming out of the sides pumps into the interior of the 2x3 wood together. It does seem to have a much better sound than just with the Stockwell II alone!!
After the firmware upgrades on these devices the stack mode is quick and easy on these devices. Connects in 5 seconds. Just make sure the main device is fully connected to your phone before you start the stacking process.
I have the Action III and (2) Emberton II’s. I stacked them easily and I have no delays at all. I’m not tech savvy at all, and it was easy as pie for me. Maybe you’re just goofy, lol!? Just kidding, but it was easy to do.
Hey Danny i am super confused in buying either JBL Charge 5 or Stockwell 2, budget is not an issue loudness is not a requirement, deep clear heavy bass with clarity and long tern enjoyable sound is preference, can you recommend one???? I hate when something is loud but muddy….30-40% volume is required, don’t like to increase the volume to get deep clear bass.
Those 2 speakers aren't even close to the same category haha. Stockwell 2 is dissapontingly quiet. Jbl charge 5 doesn't sound as good as a flip 6. The tribit blast is probably a good choice for you. It's cheap and bass is crystal clear.
@@DannyPops Thank You so much man i was too confused about imagining Marshall stock-well 2 as most clear & deep bass speaker. ill go for tribit. Looking your reviews for it on your channel.
Hello Danny 👋 I'm big fan of your reviews,I'm between marshall willen, bose flex,JBL flip 5 and ue wonderboom 3.please suggest one Danny or anyone who own all is these or having same confusion
