You can limit the FPS by limiting the FPS for the game in the NVIDIA control (desktop right click). I also use this in single player games, because it's not necessary for the GPU/CPU to produce so much performance.
I think the rest of the focus should be just outfits that the community has been requesting and bug fixes nothing good has been released since dress to kill which was a step in the right direction vs just tower defense
I just started playing it for the weekly Microsoft rewards challenge and it's surprisingly good. I pretty much never heard about the game until now and it's basically the best 'the walking dead' game I've played

you CAN use ALL base facilties in Mulitplayer if ypu join somone's game, but you hae to actyally go to bas and directly interact with the inferary, workshop etc. Not open the base screen, but in game go to the base facility you want to use
I don't know if they updated the game since you played, but I just started playing yesterday and I have no performance issue (144hz) on the PC gamepass version, I play solo and I love it so far, I think I will play this one for a long time, really did enjoy the first one years ago, these games got their own style, their is nothing quite like it
Definitely the best zmbies game I ever played! (Talking about a Open survival world) Yes ppl it is worth it! Eventhough I'm using gamepass, if this game is removed, i'd definitely pay for it! ❤
I’m having a lot of fun but I have some serious modding happening to help it along. I’d recommend it on sale and if you’re ready to mess with the mods, which are very easy for this game, thankfully.
I preordered it and at the time of release, was massively disappointed as a major fan of SOD1. However, years later here in 2023, it’s become what was expected, if not better. The game now is great and definitely worth it if it’s style of play is something you are interested in. I’ve always kept it installed to check on every couple months but now it’s massively improved compared to release. Especially with the curveball update. Just too add, with multiplayer, the crashes and lag is alright, a lot of times I find it has loads to do with connection problems so either your or the hosts internet. However, my main gripe which keeps me from playing multiplayer with a lot of people especially randoms, is the hackers. I’ve lost a lot of survivors due to either calling for help or joining someone’s game to find out they are hacking and instead of giving gear or whatever, their goal is to wreck havoc by spawning ferals/jugs and actively doing things to cause you harm in the name of griefing/trolling. So I would suggest mainly playing with people you know, or make friends to play with through daybreak. If someone hacks for daybreak ti troll it’s whatever as it doesn’t affect your community and you can just leave. But people who try to troll people’s communities are a plague on their own and it’s kinda shitty. All games have people who just wanna troll other players though so it’s not surprising. I’ve played a lot of DayZ and after awhile of being heavily geared I myself would also troll players and just all around mess with people but I don’t hack or anything like that. State of Decay 2 is a great game as of now here in 2023, much better than it was at release. TLDR: Games good, download it. Be careful of multiplayer. Try to only play with friends
Lol, three days ago I met a daybreak hacker who never spawned zeds or so. Instead, he just wasted all of his ammo by shooting everywhere and throwing bombs everywhere as if it was a new year's Eve... After all of that tomfoolery he dropped two experimental rifles (these ones that have a big DMG per shot) which were automatic and loaded with a mag of 999. It was crazy, for sure
You can heal yourself in their infirmary though? You still get access to their workshop, infirmary and some other facilities, not all but most of the ones you need you should be able to access in multiplayer if you are not the host.
I played at some point last year. They had the free weekend and then a big sale. It was worth it for like 12 bucks or so. Overall, I put in 65 hours and tapped out. It became repetitive. All you do is kill the plague hearts and go to another map. Very low replay value unless you REALLY like that gameplay loop. I played some of the campaign as well, which was fun and had a little more meat on the bones. I needed mods for a shorter nights, more vehicle storage, and a long respawn timer on cleared areas. The scripted spawning is bad in this game. You clear some areas and zombies appear within 30 seconds. Bro, give me a break. The driving and combat is solid and fun. Enemy variety is good enough but has room for improvement.
I play with my friends we don't have any connection lost issues. The main problem is that the clients cannot use sick beds and zombies lagging for them because it's working as P2P.
I can't get my key bindings straight on my controller on pc so I just went to my series x for this game recently. Il probably try to fix it one more time on my pc because it does look so much better on my pc no comparison.
it's fun when it's fun but this game is quite old and still filled with tons of bugs and glitches that just grinds my brain cells even after the latest update with a fresh start community.
any reason to play this and not (modded) 7d2d? reason to play 7d2d instead: - crafting progression - totally destructible environment - cool POIs - electric turrets for defence, traps, mines, etc. (looks like this is just melee if you can, shoot if you have to; not much diversity). 7d2d also has different perks for the melee weapons (bleed, stun, headblast, etc.) - graphics are pretty good by now. would claim some POIs look better than what i have seen in this vid - horde nights - zombies grow stronger and more diverse as you do - adventuring isnt just for sustaining resources but also to progress (blueprints, weapons you cant craft yet etc.) - easy multiplayer thats lag-free and for the entire game and its progress - you can not just upgrade the workshops in your base but also build and position them yourself and upgrade the very walls and stuff you used to build your base. - cooking recipies and buffs from food and drinks are pretty cool and significant - all perks feel important and can be gained. - quest traider gives some variety of things to do and also upgrades as you do the quests - etc.

yeah but do you understand what I mean by less user friendly? 7 dyas to die just feels... clunky. Like for example, my friend and I would play the forest, and once we beat it, we'd go back to a new world of 7d2d. Huge difference in quality of gameplay mechanics@@kliersheed

if you just want to play the State of decay 2 , buy juggernaut, if you don't bother buying the first game and bunch of it's soundtrack, then go with Complete Collection
This game is ok. The multiplayer is horrible though. Having to deal with the whiny ass crew at your base is a major downside. The combat is hella fun, looting is pretty meh, base building is boring AF.

PC is for all games. You can like new ones and old ones, you sound dumb af lol I love BG3, I put 14 hours in on launch day alone. But that doesn't mean that older/smaller games suddenly just become bad. Not to mention, PS3 textures? Who gives a shit? Gameplay is infinitely more important than graphics. If you want the best graphics then go watch a movie or something. A game has to have fun gameplay, no amount of good graphics is going to keep you invested for 200 hours if the gameplay sucks. baldurs gate 3 is boring as hell. is it amazingly made? YES... but its boring as fuck.. all you do is run here and there. talk talk talk.. battles are boring, you use the same few spells over and over.. "yea there is many spells but most of them are just buffs and debuffs, otherwhise you use the same damage making spells over and over".. and most of the time you dont even want to use them.. cause its a 1-2 time use only. graphics is good but the gameplay gets very repetive after a few hours.. and even though well written.. the story is boring aswell.. tadpole in my Eye here, tadpole in my companions eye there... no interesting looking armors or weapons.. not saying this game is better, have not played it.. but baldurs gate is garbage.. only because you add 14k Lines does not make a game good.
@@darksilver9593 You sound like someone who didn't play all that much of it. The spells give you so much freedom to do more than just simply fight. There's so many crazy emergent gameplay moments that happen just by getting creative with how you utilize spells and the environment. If you don't like it, that's fine. Not everyone likes turn based games. But that doesn't make it garbage lol it's literally the most in depth and engaging game to come out in a very long time. It has other RPG devs scared for a reason, you know.
