Well if we include sunset shimmer and starlight The main 6 go to the mane 8 Which would be 2 earth ponies, 2 pegasi, 2 unicorns and 2 Alicorns, restoring balance to the main cast instead of leaving rarity as the sole unicorn and twilight as the main MAIN character (as in standing out TOO much)

hmm how about forgiveness? since twilight became the symbol of friendship because she was offered friendship, then will sunset symbolise forgiveness since she was offered it, which then lead to her reformation? just a thought :)

I think that we don't really need to replace Twilight with sunset shimmer. We can replace Twilight with human Twilight as we have already seen that whenever she transforms into her super - self she has a pair of wings with her. But this could mean that she earned her wings while doing something which is meant for alicorns and we have seen that she already has a horn so now we know that she could be the new leader in the human world but if sunset is an alicorn than I guess your theory is right 👍 , btw awesome theory

Funfack: In MLPEG friendship games twilight turn into midnight sparkle and sunset to stop her turn into (idk i forgot her name) good sunset, she used power of all of main 6 (five bc Twilight isnt there) so she got power of pegasus, unicorn and earth pony. So if your teory about alicorns is right that pony who "want" to turt to alicorn need power of all tree diffrend pony. Sunset can turn into alicorn bc she got power of all tree pony styles when she used power of main 6 (5) to defeat midnight sparkle (ofc this teory cant work if magic in human world work diffrendly)

For 1, Sunset isn't Celestia's daughter, but rather a student of hers. In the Equestria Girls movie, Celestia said that Sunset was a former student and abandoned her studies. For 4, it's the opposite, except they are both friendship minded after Sunset Shimmer was defeated

@@Becca_Sparkles3379Continue on believing that. As much as you want it to be canon, it will never be. Sunset's parents were never revealed and I highly doubt that Celestia would be Sunset's mother. Celestia never had children nor a partner so the chances are way too slim.

Just telling you, when one of the main 6 “pony up” the people who are unicorns in Equestria don’t show their wings like twilight and rarity. They just grow ears and tails. You showed a horn on sunset shimmer when you said, “if sunset shimmer is a pony she can’t physically become an alicorn.
