As a parent I needed to hear this conversation about being authentically ourselves. My son is 14 and he is authentically himself and we have always encouraged that. So naturally he struggles in the "popular" area. But as he enters into high school and I hear these kinds of conversations from artists like yourself, I know I'm doing it right by him. I think I might be the only one in this comment section who has actually seen both shows. I went to the Beyoncé show as a birthday gift. I ended up at Taylor Swift show because my neighbor is a flight attendant. Her flight was canceled so she asked me to take her daughter. So let me say this Taylor puts on a good show, but she relies a little bit more on a production lights, etc. Beyoncé put on a great show but she relies more on her performance because she’s actually a good dancer.
