I don’t think Fox soul were too happy with how funky dineva and his anti-woman sentiments. However, in Funkys defence a lot of the fans encouraged it when he was going in on the ones they didn’t like. When it came to like Chloe Bailey, then they would turn on the network. Regardless of that though they should’ve paid funky a lot more as he was the one who brought in all the views.
It still would have eventually been an issue if they cnt afford to pay more and Claudia/Al would have started to compare and find fault in their salaries…..in the end, the network wants to pocket as much money as possible

In fact, Al actually complimented Armon during Armon's roast and both Claudia and Armon criticized Al's roast to Armon for being "too soft & too sweet and not harsh enough". Those were their words. The real reason why Armon wanted Al's jokes to be nastier towards Armon is because he knew what he was about to do to Al the following week & he wanted to use that as his reason for why his jokes about Al was nasty. Armon ain't innocent either and neither is Claudia. All three and also Funky likely had some fault in how things went so left. There's a reason why Al is currently closer to Funky than he is with Claudia is because Claudia got her ways too.

Yea it’s clear Al is the problem. As much as Claudia wants to save her baby not disparage him, she could recreate the show without him there. Funky was not replaceable but Al and what he brought to the show definitely is. Without Funky there to check Al, he used his manipulation to tank the show.
Unpopular opinion. Al is a low key misogynist. He will use a woman to elevate himself but he quickly disposes of them. He only respects successful (black) men. I think it never sat well with Al that Claudia was more successful than him, so every time Claudia spoke up it felt like a slight to his manhood. @margaret.alderidge she was compensated when she got a paycheck. The show was a success, but who knew that it would be in the beginning. So she got paid accordingly, I'm assuming. If it wasn't enough pay, she should've negotiated that before singing the contract.

Accepted the pay and did her many jobs. If she believed in her vision/s from the start, she should've negotiated a higher salary plus an ep title with residuals. etc. She accepted the pay she got, and when the show/shows, she helped get on/produced became a success she wants credits and deserves more pay. I don't think it works like that. I'm not in the business, so I may be wrong, but I'm assuming she got paid accordingly.

I think the real villain (if there is one) is Al. He's sensitive to ASF and he plays both sides. He's not as pulled up as he wants the public to think. I believe EVERY word Armon said. Claudia is a hustler which I respect, but the fact that she still doesn’t get how the roast was unprofessional/harmful to the show worries me and makes me question where her professionalism lies. Al could have been doing all of those things but it should have stayed behind the scenes with producers and management…they literally took us behind the curtain and exposed their issues, releasing all doubt….now if they come back it won’t feel organic and we know it will just be for a check and unfortunately that’s not gonna work with this audience. Claudia threw funky under the bus with the whole Bailey sister thing and afterwards, and how she did Al is giving the same thing. Tasha K called the whole situation correctly in her video. She used Armondo. I use to like Claudia. Al and funky are cool. Claudia's conversations with Tasha K are telling. I look at her differently now.
Claudia TO ME is not a bad person. I totally understand why she is the way she is. You help others and believe in them, but then get stabbed in the back.
I stopped watching TGIF when Funky left, I loved watching all 3 of them together. When Claudia wouldn’t be there I wouldn’t watch the show either. The Chemistry between the original 3 was undeniable.. funky come back !

It really breaks my heart to know how messy Al is. He seems to be the common denominator in all of the division between Q and Claudia, then Armon and Claudia. It's really unfortunate because watching Tea-GIF was a breath of fresh air not only through the pandemic but I was also displaced out of my own apartment for about 7/8 months while I was pregnant and facing a felony assault charge while looking for a new apartment and having an absent baby father. So, when I say Claudia, Al, and Funky got me threw some of the hardest days of my adulthood, the same way Cocktails with Queens did. Just help me to laugh away some stress, while having intellectual and light hearted fun. I am really sad that somebody that always talks about uplifting the Black or LGBTQ, or the Black woahman, I am just sad that this could not be different. But thank all of you guys for bringing some of the funniest days on RU-vid. S/O to Carlos for brining the fans some type of answers. I love you Claudia.❤️😇💐

I can kind of see that happening. If you hear from someone that someone else is talking s*** about you and they in your ear. It would make sense that you probably don't want to f*** with that person. Armon can be immature, so I can see that but once he figured out that it was all BS it would make sense that he would react the way he did. I don't think she orchestrated that roast. When Funky called Claudia "homophobic" live on air, i knew they were not getting along back stage and it was at a time Claudia was being booked. I felt like they were jealous that she was getting more opportunities than them. I wish i could screen shot the original comment and post it here but i called it
I remember that exact episode too. Claudia was defending women and then Funky jumped in and said "well, you're homophobic" and then Claudia said, "well you hate women" and it got very tense. It was around the time the internet and even the Breakfast Club was dragging funky after dissing Chloe&Halle for being, in his words, "ugly".

Al often commented that he was not as rich as Claudia. IF his issue was that he was jealous, that’s SAD and he has some nerve. As the creator of the show, she SHOULD have been making more (even though she wasn’t). She lives in TX where houses are affordable compared to Cali where he is. It was clear as day that she had multiple JOBS and sources of income, so how dare he try to compare what she has to what he has. Armon is not good for the show. Al and Claudia was able to maintain being professional despite whatever was going on behind the scenes. Armon roast was out of line and a grievance that should've taken place behind the scenes. Nonetheless he hasn't been on that show long enough to know all of what he said.

There was one particular video where Al was yelling at her telling her to “be quiet!” And it took like a whole week or 2 weeks for him to publicly apologize to her because his female relatives (don’t remember if it was his sisters or cousins) told him what he did was wrong. Tea GIF was def apart of my daily podcast rotation for about 18 months. There was a synergy shift when funky left. I felt and feel for Claudia - to have to deal with a staffing shift-men!! this is a job in front of cameras. I’m in an office so when a coworker leaves it’s whatever - this is diff lol. I think some of it comes from her being mixed race. She told a joke about Tiny back in the day and people took it as she was making fun of skin color. It’s something about that. Some joke she made in 2000. They probably forgot why they didn’t like her.

I’m a fan of Claudia and I loved Cocktails With The Queens. It was refreshing to see those ladies come together celebrate one another and their chemistry seemed genuine. I didn’t get that with TeaGIF. I only supported the show because I love Claudia.
