The debate was really great and we got a bigger picture on the issue, not just from the debate but from audience as well. My only complain is that as we are discussing such severe issues, I think 1 hour is not enough, in fact even days won't be enough. But it would be great if u cld allot a bit more time for the later part.. The views and question s of audience...i understand the economics of the debate might not allow more time...but I think increasing the time by a bit wld serve the purpose more effectively..still thanks a lot for holding such debates, love them.. 😊✌

By and large technology simply multiplies the power of humans. This means that technology increases the ability of a single human or group of humans to do more good or more bad than they could before. The problem is that a great many goods could happen that would be good, but a single bad could be much more devestating to humanity. As with many things, those who would protect us from bad have to be right 100% of the time but those who would do bad have to succeed only once. Having said that, there is no way to block technology advancement. Therefore there is a technology race underway and we have to make sure those advancing technology for good always win the race against those who seek to advance technology for bad.
