When buying things from Temu, I make sure to buy things that are mechanically simple and hard to screw up. Have had good success with this.

It's been two years since I risked buying my bike stuff from Ali express and others. Yes, you can get terrible things that break even before installing them, but the vast majority of tools and parts have been a game changer for me. Good quality that break the same as the expensive ones. Definitely the industry is changing. Why not further test some of those parts?

I bought some "SRAM Centerline" 180mm rotors from Temu. I'm 100% sure they were counterfiet but I ran them for about 8 months with absolutely no problem until i bought some SRAM floating rotors from Jenson USA. I also bought some ODI grips which, again I think were counterfeit but I also ran them for a while until I switch up the color scheme on my bike.

8:02 that is a Benchmade Osborn knife. hands down best knife Ive ever owned. i was lucky enough to get it at cost because of my place of work at the time. got one for my buddy on his wedding and he carries it daily. i would actually pay the absurd retail price for that knife, probably 300$. You kind find it cheaper for sure. I always lost my knife and broke them until i had a knife that actually did the job. Ive had this knife fore over 6 years and its the best knife Ive ever owned.

A pump that is working should get hot. It’s the compressed air that gets hot. If it’s cold it’s not pumping enough air. But pumping up a tube outside a tire won’t give much resistance.

75% of my purchases are from ali express at this point. the bike industry gives us the middle finger , we can give it right back. from groups to tires.,, if u dont mind waiting a bit its worth it.

Yes, try a temu tubeless valve+ bottle cage on the enduro bike. The horn seems useful if waterproof and easy to use.

Most hand pumps are actually Beto, most shock pumps are actually Beto or Gyio. Many big brands use them, but rebranded , Fox (used Gyio in the past, now uses Beto, even digital shock pump is Beto), DVO, Rockshox uses GYIO. Trek also bikes come with unbranded Beto pump. I saw a Beto pump for really cheap in a department store, double price in sports store.

Nice video. I've been using chinese parts for a few years now. They're lighter and they work well, of course durability is always an issue, but they're so cheap, it's just easy to replace. My other comment is that the balance of the product and the background in your video. There's so much back ground space that the products are so small compared to the rest of the video. You could use some zoom shots to hightlight the products. But anyway, great content.

I prefer bright coloured nitrile gloves because it's easier to see grease and grime on them, so you don't transfer it.

I bought a black market? Fork like ten years ago. I guess like Trek will order 50 thousand forks so they make 100 or whatever number extra forks and they become maybe blemished so they can't sell them brand new. So I got a brand new blemished Fox front shock for $100 in the mail one time. I ended up selling the bike though. I brought it into a bike shop and they couldn't tell if it was fake or not either

Loved your video Mr Zelensky. I usually buy things from temu where quality is not a factor. e.g. valve caps, bar end caps, camera mounts, various straps and. I would not recommend buying from temu anything you're going to put your weight on so taking an example from your purchase pedalse would be a big no from me because if they fail you could get seriously injured I can imagine those pedals snapping in half and cutting your leg open. Nope! Nope!

I bought some really cheap, "wheel up" oil slick pedals that were clearly Chinese , however, they have survived extreme ground strikes through rock gardens , and several hundred miles of the worst the peak District national park can throw at them, and the bearing still spin smooth and quiet. Some of this stuff is pretty good. But some not so. I would never trust a Chinese tyre (on my car either), it's the most important point of contact with the ground. Seat post, bars and stem need to have some form of quality control too. Imagine a cheap Chinese stem or bars breaking in two whilst you land a gnarly drop going flat out. 😂

Temu is the absolute worst of the many evils that are ruining the bicycle, and many other, industry. Of the many options I will consider, taking a whole bunch of things into account, Temu will never, NEVER, be one of them. Short term savings for long term losses.

It is not worth buying from that platform at all. Stuff manufactured under questionable circumstances shipped all around the world. If you care the least bit about ethical labor practices and the environment, do not order from there (or Amazon, while we're at it)!
